《Fantasial Apocalypse》Chapter 177: [ Aemie Villaflores ]

“Since that time, my life had always revolved around Allen. If you took him away from me, I will certainly fight you to the death!” Layla glared at Aemie.
For her, Allen was the most important person.
She endured everything for him, she put every ounce of her happiness and love on him. She was the one who raised him, she gave everything she has to him. It can even be said that her life was all concentrated on Allen and all this time she felt that she was born in this world just to protect him.
He was her only happiness.
She didn’t know what kind of life would she have without him. Such a future even never crossed her mind.
Overwhelmed by a storm of emotion, Aemie was struck dumb.
After a short moment, she spoke, “… I won’t…”
Aemie felt her daughter’s hostility and even Mia’s eyes were boring holes at her. She can’t help but showed a wry smile. How come she had become the villain all of a sudden?
“Your father disappeared…” She sighed and then smiled bitterly.
“What?!” Layla’s eyes widened in shock. That man?
Although Layla hated that family, especially her stoic and cold father and always believed that she and Allen had already no connection whatsoever to them, still the moment she had heard about it, something can’t help but stir inside of her.
Was this because of blood…? She wondered.
“What happened?”
“After all this happened, the convoy protecting him was attacked by monsters and since then he disappeared. Nowhere to be found.” Aemie answered.
“The company got destroyed though we still have a bit of wealth and power, causing us to slowly rise up. Although our lost was extremely huge, still, it doesn’t mean that it’s all bad. With the disappearance of your father and the death of some important elders, I have managed to usurp the head’s position with my own effort. Even your father’s family would never say anything about me now… that is why you can return now to the family… even though I couldn’t do anything before but now it’s different…” Aemie stared at her daughter, extremely hopeful.
She wanted for her family to be complete again. Allen and Layla, she felt that she had owed them so many things and she wanted to compensate for the lost time.
For her, she had only realized how important they are after they disappeared. That painful feeling, that longing…
It was always eating inside her. As if something was gnawing every bones and flesh she had inside her body. It was extremely painful!

“As if I will listen to you!” But Layla glared at her. “We have better lives now… I managed to support Allen with only myself, we will never return to that house again! Besides, Allen doesn’t remember anything… it is better if he didn’t.”
“Indeed, from what I can tell, you made a good job of raising him.” Aemie flashed a sorrowful expression. “But, I’m still Cris’ mother, you can’t take that away from me…”
“… …”
“Even if you are my daughter, I won’t allow that!” Aemie’s eyes flashed angrily.
“I know I had many mistakes and misgivings in the past but still, please let me compensate for that! Let me rectify my wrongs… I want to become a good mother for him, at least give me that right…” She burst from the intense pain and tears started falling from her eyes. The feelings she had bottled up all these time bursts free.
“… …” Layla frowned but she didn’t say anything. She cast her gaze down.
A flash of pain and sorrow cross Aemie’s eyes still she endured and turned into Mia. “How is Cris, is he doing fine?”
“He’s safe… somehow…”
Mia’s vague words caused Aemie to frown. “What do you mean? Did something happen to my son?” She became agitated.
She finally found him! She can’t lose him again!!
Mia shook her head. “Just like what I said, he’s safe… However, something is happening to him right now. You can say… a transformation…”
“What transformation?!”
Layla’s body trembled. She had heard about what happened.
“We don’t know yet… I had already mobilized all of my forces to find him as soon as possible. But we still haven’t found anything…” Mia sighed. She had already sent most of her people to the China sea where Allen’s signal was last found.
“What do you mean you didn’t find anything!! Just what the hell happened to my son!!?” Aemie yelled out in anger.
“Please calm down, Mrs. Villaflores, we are also worrying about him but we can’t do anything!” Mia frowned. “The world became even larger and the geography had changed… looking for someone had become even more difficult than looking for a needle in a haystack. However, we’re still doing everything we can to find him! We are also extremely anxious about what was happening to him at this very moment, so please, calm yourself!”
Mia was also enduring it. She was worried about what is happening to him right now… every second felt like it was a year. But still, she steeled herself.

She can’t go crazy right now; especially that dumb bastard had finally shown himself to the world. Mia couldn’t help but clicked her tongue in displeasure but still, a bit of pride surge inside of her.
Mia’s outburst calmed Aemie and she slowly returned to her seat.
“Although we really don’t know what is happening to that idiot, there is only one thing we know for sure… and that he’s safe and sound.”
If Alkrasha didn’t lie to them then that would be the case… The only problem is that what will happen to Allen when he became a fallen… that is what was worrying her right now.
Allen’s state… I guess the world domination can’t be avoided… Mia sighed helplessly.
“How do you know that he’s safe?”
Mia pulled her phone and put it on the table. She then slides it towards Aemie. “Allen’s strong… right now, there’s basically no opponent for him left.”
Aemie took the phone and couldn’t help but be flabbergasted. It was a very familiar video. She had seen it before… it was a sensational video.
Thunder Emperor… they called him.
Dubbed as the strongest Superhuman by many people.
But… no way, her son was that youth?!
The moment she saw Allen’s face reflected on the video, although it was a bit blurry, Aemie couldn’t help but gasp in surprise and a violent twinge shot through her heart.
She straightened her body that almost lost balance, and finally squeezed out a feeble voice, her lips trembling. “My, my son, Cris is the Thunder Emperor?!”
“Thunder Emperor… ah yeah, he was called that now, right?” Mia muttered as she sipped her tea. “He is indeed Allen, Cris whatever… However, as soon as he left China, he had gone missing…”
“What do you mean by he’s gone missing!?”
As soon as she heard those words, Aemie tossed everything aside, feeling a certain emotion well up inside her. Specifically, it was a sudden fury.
Her reflexive retort only added fuel to the fire.
“We don’t know...!”
Gritting her pearly-white teeth, Mia yelled. Aemie’s frantic attitude also agitated her.
Staring directly at Mia, Aemie was just about to speak but the breath she had inhaled felt difficult to vocalize. Because within Mia’s eyes, she saw an emotion that could not be clearer.
Yearning, Pain, Worry, Anxiety – because of all these strong feelings, it would be stupid for her if she didn’t understand what relationship does Mia had with her son.
Fuu—sighing deeply, Aemie felt speechless.
An indescribable awkwardness hung in the air.
That was when someone opened the door.
“Why don’t we calm down first… worrying about that boy wouldn’t help anything… Besides, I’m certain that he is fine and already on his way here…”
A seemingly cheerful tone, yet a distinctively clear female voice rang out as soon as the door opened.
What entered through the door was a rather tall woman with Asian features wearing an elegant dress. Gazing at her graceful features, Mia let out a weak voice.
“Mom,”
“Ciao~”
Without a doubt, it was her mother. Xia Yi Bianchi.
“Here I bought some cakes,” Xia Yi Bianchi whose black hair was tied in a long ponytail, smiled amiably.
The three women inside the room hastily adjusted their expressions and nodded.

“Please tell me all about my son,” Aemie suddenly asked while bowing her head.
Mia doesn’t really care, after all, no matter what she did before; she was still, after all, Allen’s biological mother. That would never change.
She was still the beautiful daughter-in-law in front of her mother-in-law.
As for Layla, she wore a complicated expression but she didn’t say anything. Her hatred towards her real family had somewhat lessened now that she had seen her mother after a very long time.
They did say, foods aren’t the only thing that will spoil with time. Even hate and grudge will vanish after a very long time…
Besides, no matter what happens Blood is thicker than Water…
Layla didn’t say anything as if ignoring her mother.
Aemie looked at her helplessly.
“I heard he was a good boy,” The one who answered was Xia Yi. “Strong, kind, gentle and very responsible.”
Hearing this, Aemie’s lips trembled with a deep longing. “Re, really?”
At Aemie’s question, Mia momentarily forgot the animosity between them, and started speaking with a smile:
“Allen the [ Black Demon King ], the [ Ruthless Overlord ], or the [ Tyrant ] he was called with many names… few made from fear of him while most was made due to his power.”
“... Hoh...” Aemie started to show a smile. “It seems like my son is having a blast…”
Those names are certainly terrifying but her pride as a mother made her biased.
“Yeah, he did,” Mia responded.
“Truthfully, Allen and I came from the future.”
“!!?” Aemie’s eyes widened in shock because of the sudden revelation.

Exuperius [DISCONTINUED]
Terravest. The northernmost continent of the world known by many names of legend, but is most commonly reffered to as Athora, has, for eons, served as the land of exiles. Human criminals, dark elves, grayskinned orcs and dwarves that preffer mining with machinery over the traditional pickaxe alike, have come to call this half-frozen hellhole their home. It is a land of great strife, calamity and crisis, where one legendary tale ends only to begin the next, heroes fall down and villains find themselves thrown into lava. Around seventy years ago, a legendary figure appeared out of seemingly nowhere and conquered three human nations, forming a kingdom worthy enough of being called a small empire. However, at the eve of his heirs ascension, the legend breathed his last, leaving this same bloated, chaotic realm without the pillar that kept it together. Already, the carrion nobility, still spiteful for being denied their "rightful" place below the sun, rise up and gather at the court, each eager to consolidate their own power in these troubled times. Tempers flare, power is exercised without restraint and no one expects the hedonistic prince to succeed at keeping the realm together. Alas, as is often the case with such tales, not everything seems to be as it might at first appear and the vain lords of the realm may yet come to regret their carrion will. --- The Content Warnings are there for a good reason. ---
