[ Duncy Cat ]: Four. Two are Lion type monsters; one is a bird type that looked like a pterodactyl and a wyvern…

[ Chameleon ]: That sounds bad…

[ Bull ]: A Wyvern? Haven’t met one…

[ Wolf ]: Nasty and troublesome. Especially those ones that could breathe fire or poison, so difficult to deal with.

[ Golden Retriever ]: Yeah, I suddenly remembered fighting a flock of wyverns before, almost died from being poisoned. Thankfully, the Holy Maiden’s group was there…

[ Golden Retriever ]: Yeah. If I remember correctly, that Silver Crystal contained a Mythic ranked Item?

[ Swallow ]: A Mythic? Wow, that's a good thing!

[ Wolf ]: I’m not certain about the details but I think that’s not wrong?

[ Wolf ]: Someone should tell Duncy cat about it. She should try her luck though remind her to be careful about the traps especially the one that could release that troublesome Lion. That’s difficult to beat!

[ Tulip ]: I will tell sister cat about it when she’s logged on!

[ Swallow ]: On it~

As Allen was spending his time having a conversation through the Vit Communicator, Sun Wukong appeared.

“Human King, have some food.” Sun Wukong throws him two fruits as big as a coconut.

“Spirit fruit?”

“Of course not.” Sun Wukong smiled wryly. Does he really think spirit fruits are abundant? “But it’s almost the same,”

Allen bit to the fruits and indeed, it was extremely delicious and sweet. More importantly, it gives him some energy whenever he swallowed its flesh.

“Ah, that’s right Old Sun,”

“Hm?”

“How’s outside? How long was I here already?”

“Not even a day…” Sun Wukong answered while eating her own fruit. “Well, still nothing happened, though I can feel a familiar presence from somewhere. One of our peers should already be here,”

“Is that so…” Allen answered softly. Not even a day, ha…

However, Allen felt as if he had already stayed here for a long period of time.

“Old Sun, can you let Meihua leave this place?”

“Young master?” Hearing her name being called, Li Meihua, looked at Allen. She was currently in her human form, leaning on a huge rock beside the hot spring.

“Tang Yu and the others would be worried if I didn’t return back in time,” Turning to Li Meihua, “I want you to tell them that I’m alright and just need to do something so I will be gone for about three days.”

“Can you do that?”

Li Meihua seemed to be hesitant. Truthfully, she doesn’t want to leave Allen’s side but, “Alright, I’ll go…”

… It was, after all, Allen’s request.

“Thanks, Meihua,”

After eating, Sun Wukong leads Li Meihua outside the Heaven Concealing Array, leaving Allen alone inside. As for Madam White and Lightning Qilin, they both returned inside the Summoning Grimoire.

Although Madam White didn’t want to leave, still Allen forced her to, after all, she had been quite busy these past few days, protecting him. She should be exhausted physically, if not, mentally…

Alone, Allen thought about the things he could do to kill time. If Sun Wukong said right, a month here should be a day outside, so he would stay here for at least 3 months…?

That’s quite a long time…

Sighing, Allen decided to continue grinding his skills.

Four days later...

Sun Wukong entered the Array and saw a dark shape sitting on the top of one of the huge rock near the Hot Spring.

He had unruly black hair. He wore a beat up black parka, a black top, and black pants and shoes.

As aside from the Monkey King, only one person was currently inside this place, so the figure’s identity was easily identified.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

Allen turned his head to regard her, and his eyes opened.

She wondered what he'd been listening to, sitting so still like that.

"Training my skills."

As he said, Allen waved his hand and in an instant, a plain black colored hilt western style sword appeared.

“How long was I already here?” Allen asked while swinging the sword. Aside from training, he didn’t do anything else and he even forgot to check the time using the Vit Com.

After all, he felt like days had already passed and yet, the numbers in the clock only rose a few minutes or hours. He got fed up and didn’t bother checking again…

“It’s been four days,”

“Four? It means that I was here for four months…?” Allen said with a wry smile. “Quite a long time.”

Sun Wukong shrugs her shoulders and sat towards the opposite rock.

“How’s outside? I thought it’s only for three days…?”

“Don’t ask me. That bastard is just too stubborn. Even right now, he was still inside this country,”

Allen looks at her some more until he spoke. “So I’m still confined in here?”

“You can’t call it confining, I prefer to call it resting…” Sun Wukong muttered, picking at a few blades of grass with her free hand.

“Anyway, you’re actually free to go, if you wanted…”

“Hm?”

“You’re free to go" She repeated as she stared into his dark crimson eyes. Allen also stared into her fiery golden eyes, confused.

“But I thought you said,”

“He’s still indeed inside the country but he’s already in the far north. I think he won’t be coming back here since he dreaded my patience from running out…” Sun Wukong answered indifferently.

“So what are you gonna do?”

Allen sat on a stone and remained silence like that for a while until he broke it.

“I’m going.” His voice firm.

“I see.”

Allen stood up and patted his clothes. He then waved his hand and the sword vanished in thin air.

“What are you going to do?”

“Back to my home country… I need to take care of someone before I will leave for Cybertron.” Allen started walking towards Sun Wukong.

“But is it really alright?”

Though he was asking, a bit of expectation had actually flashed across his eyes. With Osiris power, he wanted to see if he can now contend against a genuine monster king.

- Though he wasn’t dumb enough to ask for a fight himself. He wanted to be more assured of his victory before facing against them!

“It’s fine. As long as your aura is hidden, they will overlook it. In any case, you are a human and never did it cross their minds that the new monster king was a human. So, they would just overlook you if they won’t focus properly.”

After saying so, Sun Wukong grabbed Allen’s hand and in a blink of an eye, there were already standing inside a forest.

Allen looked around certainly, there were already out of the Heaven Concealing Array.

He smiled softly, faced Sun Wukong and did a little half-ironic bow.

“Old Sun, this debt, I will surely repay it in the future.”

Sun Wukong revealed a brilliant smiled with her pure white teeth shining under the sunlight, and mouth making a perfect arch towards Allen.

Damb, Damb, Damb Allen somewhat lost his spirit seeing this smile, and for some reason, his heartbeat instantly quickened. But he quickly regained himself.

If he didn’t know better, he would surely think that Sun Wukong possesses a charm skill and just attack him with it.

“Human King, your existence can be said to be a prank from the heavens…” Sun Wukong said with a faint smile.

Her expression then changes, transformed into a hint of melancholy and light sighs.

She looked at Allen quietly before she continued, “Something is happening in ‘that’ world, or maybe something had already happened. I don’t know…”

“Actually, I wanted to mess with you a bit but it seemed like I can’t do that this time…I don’t know any particular details but I’m certain that you will be pulled into this, whether you like it or not.”

“What do you mean?”

“I’m not sure,” Sun Wukong shook her head. “But what I know is that Fate has something different stored for you. So you should man up and quickly climb the stair of power if you don’t want to be engulfed by it. That’s the only thing I can say to you.”

“Old Sun,” Allen muttered in confusion.

Sun Wukong looks at him and smiled, “Monster Kings are an aspect that maintains the balance of nature. In fact, they are supposed to be guardians that kept down the monster world under control. But somehow a war seems to be brewing and I can feel as if someone is behind it.”

“… …”

“This might be one of the reasons of your existence as a Monster King. Do something about it…”

“What about you?”

“I can’t move, not blatantly I suppose.” Sun Wukong shook her head while wearing a wry smile. “I once mentioned before, I only participated in the war to repay an old friend. As someone who had already chosen a side, it would be a dishonor for this old sun to betray him… so I can only help this far…”

Allen said nothing. He was still in the process of digesting Sun Wukong’s words…

“I’ll keep that in mind…” said Allen, after a long silence. “Old Sun, although this is presumptuous of me, however, if you ever need help, I will swim the sea of fire and climb a mountain of blades for you.”

“Hehe, indeed quite presumptuous.” Sun Wukong laughed cheerily.

“You are my friend, one of my dearest truly. Sun Wukong, let’s meet again if fate allows!” Allen bowed and started walking away.

Sun Wukong remained there for quite some time, looking at Allen’s retreating back.

“A human that became a Monster King. What storms will you create, what change will you bring and what kind of future lies ahead of you.”

“That something inside of you, will you be consumed by it or you will learn how to control it…”

Again her eyes shut cunningly. “So interesting,” and then she laughed as if she had heard some enormous joke.

She opened her eyes and again stared at the direction where Allen disappeared to and her gaze was cunning and thoughtful.

“What you will become, what will you create, and what will you end up to… my dear Human King, let me witness it, the interesting story you have within you!”
