《Fantasial Apocalypse》Chapter 74: [ Another Special Crystal ]

“Huh, what’s wrong, mom?” Ye Shishi asked her mom worriedly after seeing her standing outside the door while looking at the direction of the forest.
It’s already dark and most of the people have already gone inside their homes to prepare and eat their dinner. But Ye Yueshing for some reason was still standing anxiously outside the house.
“The sun is setting, so it’s dangerous if you don’t go inside.”
“Xiao Shi, Wushuang isn’t back yet…” Ye Yueshing responded. Her eyes were glazed and started to moist.
“Wushuang?” Ye Shishi frowned. “Oh right, I haven’t seen him since this morning… isn’t he just zealously wondering around?”
“He went inside the forest…”
“What?!” Ye Shishi’s voice somewhat raised. “… just wait a bit, I’ll go ask the others.”
Ye Shishi runs through the night and enters the [ Long ] group’s base house.
However,
“No, I haven’t seen him,” Sun Yueli shook his head. “I’ve been here the whole day but I still didn’t see the beast king returned.”
“What about you, Miss YingYun?” Ye Shishi bit her lips in worry.
“I don’t know where that hateful guy…. however, won’t he be fine? He’s strong and all…” Sun Yingyun reluctantly replied.
Without finding anything, Ye Shishi’s worry deepened. She could only return to Ye Yueshing who was also worrying her hearts out.
“…That’s how it is mom…”
“Okay, thanks…” Ye Yueshing smiled at her daughter but her face showed her tired look. “…go inside, eat your dinner first.”
“Mom, Wushuang will be alright. He’s very strong…” Ye Shishi tried to reassure her but even her voice seems to be low.
Ye Yueshing could only respond her with a faint smile: “I hope so too…”
She turned her gaze back to the direction where Allen went to this morning.
Allen, where are you? Please be careful…
Clenching her fists, she hopes for his safe return.
--- ---
Looking back at the fierce fight, for a while after the twilight, he turned his eyes in the direction of the lake.
It was once very beautiful and enchanting but now, it was now in a terrible state.
Ha, with my body not moving, it would certainly be impossible to take the Silver Crystal from the lake. Damn!
As Allen was cursing inwardly, suddenly something caught his eyes. It was a monster corpse.
Several monsters had ceased breathing when they were accidentally involved during the battle.
Their whole bodies were covered in injuries like him, some were burned to death and some were flattened and became meat sauce.
Looking at this, Allen was struck with an idea.
He immediately tried to move his limbs and crawled towards these bodies.
He then picked up a rabbit’s corpse that had rolled near him and ate it.
That’s right ate it! It was uncooked and was certainly still raw but Allen ate it.
This was because of his skill [ Flesh Food ].
It was a skill he had buried in the dust since this kind of skill is just too low for a human being but in this kind of situation, Allen had no choice.
[ Flesh Food ] is a skill enabling the user to regenerate any kinds of wounds by eating raw flesh and empower their regeneration process.
Well well, you truly never know what will turn out to be useful in the future.
Allen mused inwardly as he endured the pain.
After eating for a few minutes, Allen can finally feel strength returning to his body. Although it was only a bit, his wounds also started closing up.
I think I looked like a zombie right now…
Smiling wryly, without any hesitation Allen started eating the rest of the monster corpses directly.
--- ---
With a bit of his strength slowly returned, Allen finally managed to stand up. He thought about his battle against the dragon and felt depressed.
It’s not about the outcome but the fact that he failed to do something he wanted to do.
[ Skill Replication ] an ability that enabled the user to copy a random skill from others.
It was a dragon! And most of all, it was an elder dragon!!
Even a weak skill from it would certainly be a very powerful skill for him. But unfortunately, whether it was because his skill level is extremely low, or maybe the Elder Dragon’s level is just too high for him, or was it his lack of focus at that time, looting a skill from that elder dragon had failed.
He did it thrice but failed three times.
It was when he was restricting the Elder Dragon – though he was bitten and was overwhelmed in pain, so maybe it was that reason as to why his skill failed.
He did it the second time in that condition but still failed.
The third try ended up being cut off so it wasn’t counted.
In the end, he had lost a good opportunity to acquire another powerful skill.
Allen couldn’t help but sigh. Maybe he really needed to grind his [ Skill Replication ]…
Until now, the highest level he managed to successfully copy an ability from was to a Lv5 monster. It was from the red-furred Fang bear he met along the way where he managed to get a passive skill called [ Heavy Legs ]. It was a skill that strengthened his lower body, especially his legs.
That was also the reason why he managed to break the floor in Sun Yingyun’s restaurant just by stomping it.
But still, he really desired the skill possessed by a dragon… especially that ability to breathe fire, that should certainly be cool!!
Haaa~
Allen sighed in regret. Shaking his head, he walked towards the edge of the lake. Might as well not cry over spilled milk.
Although right now, he doesn’t know the level of his skills including the [ Skill Replication ], as long as he always uses it, it should constantly raise its level. And in the future, when he once again met a dragon, that time, his [ Skill Replication ] ability should be quite a high level…
Allen forgets about the dragon’s skill for the time being and focused his attention on what really is more important!
He looked at the lake and noticed that the water was reflecting his supposed to be handsome and adorable (?) appearance but was now appearing somewhat haggard.
For a moment, he stood at the edge of the lake, and sized up all around, while being extremely vigilant and quite ready to act momentarily. There might be insane monsters that will come here so acting vigilant is necessary.
Fortunately, the entire periphery was empty, in addition to his voice, no other noise was there coming out from anywhere.
Only several small fishes, who were occasionally taking a rapid turn in the lake water, and causing little water splashes, were producing soft sound, which was quite agile and penetrating.
I guess it's only natural since three powerful monsters were just fighting here, coming in this place would be suicide!
After waiting for a long time, he was finally convinced that there was really no one around.

Allen took a deep breath as he looked at the lake.
A ray of dim gentle white light had flooded the water surface- that was naturally the Silver Crystal in the center, but unfortunately, it was in the bottom part, which could now only send out such a dim hazy shimmer.
There are actually still fishes swimming in the lake, quite briskly and lively at that too.
Moreover, the water plants were appearing very luxuriant, the ray of the light coming from the Silver Crystal was penetrating the water plant through the water surface, resembling like a very thin and white layer of yarn had draped over the entire space.
Looking at it, Allen felt a burst of freshness and comfort feeling, since unexpectedly he felt a huge amount of mana in the lake!
Since I had successfully repelled the Fire Dragon, that Qilin shouldn’t be so parsimonious, right? It wouldn’t get angry if I took the Silver crystal in this lake, right? Yep! Totally!
Thank you, Qilin!
Question: how would he get the Silver Crystal from the bottom of the lake when he himself couldn’t swim?
“…easy~” Allen released the Ape the [ Titan Ape ].
With a flash, he disappeared and then reappeared not so far away from the lake.
Ape roared towards the sky and drummed its chest.
Looking at him, Allen gave his orders. “Demolish it!”
Goaaaarrrr!!
With its huge build and hands, Ape began smashing the lake.
At once, a huge shockwave swept the ground and formed a chasm.
And the fissure continued to move in a straight line, seemingly like land mines that have been planted in advance, fragments of rocks and soil were spat out of the ground as it traveled forth.
Ape didn’t stop there. With its huge feet and fists, it rained the edge of the lake with stamp and punches.
The ground was flattened and plummeted causing the water from the lake to overflow. A crack was then created from the ground due to Ape’s might running through the lake.
As the ruckus that would have led others to believe that a terraforming was occurring at that very moment started to spread into the surroundings, a stream of water run through the fissure acting as a canal and began to flow to the crater created from Ape’s constant smashing.
“AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA” Allen laughed loudly and almost took a leap forward, wanting to stand before the turbid waters that were rushing into the water canal to spread his arms and proudly proclaimed.
“DESTROY! DESTROY EVERYTHING IN THIS WORLD!! I AM THE DEMON KING WHO WILL THE DESTROY EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD! KNEEL IN FRONT OF ME, YOU HEATH*** cough, cough… man, I think overdone it. But I sure want to do that at least once in my life though ♪”
Allen sat on a branch of a tree happily while watching Ape destroying the lake. The [ Titan Ape ] now looked like a certain villain from a certain game; [ Wreck it **lph ]!
However, if the Qilin were to see what he was doing, the Qilin would certainly smash his head and shot him with lightning while saying ‘HEY! STOP THAT YOU CRAZY HUMAN!!!’
He was actually casually destroying such a magnificent lake. One should know that this was the Qilin's favorite resting place.
But sadly, it wasn’t there and no one can stop him.
And even if there is one, it’s already too late. Allen was always serious.
Serious to the point where he was pretty much excited about it.
Destroying things is easier and more interesting than building something~
After a few minutes of wrecking things, the water level in the lake finally reduced to almost knee length. With this height, Allen could now take the Silver Crystal.
Stopping Ape, Allen slowly walked towards the center of the lake. There, a silver Crystal was quietly floating.
Allen thanked Ape and recalled him inside the Monster Ball.
He then grabbed the Silver Crystal and immediately a mechanical voice rang out in his ear.
[ Do you want to use the Crystal? Yes or No ]
A Special-Crystal!
Allen’s eyes widened. There’s no prompt or explanation about the skills or artifacts so it’s neither a Skill nor an Item Crystal.
There was also no Class introduction… so it only leaves one thing!
This Silver Crystal is a Special-Crystal!
Allen’s heart started beating faster.
Allen’s [ Goro Goro no Mi ] was found in the Special-Crystal. And judging by the amount of mana this Silver Crystal was emitting, it was certainly not a normal kind of Special-Crystal!
Saying ‘Yes’ on his mind, Allen activated the Crystal. In an instant, the Silver-Crystal shone in a blinding light causing Allen to squint his eyes.
However, everything suddenly changed. His mind suffered an unknown impact as if something smashes his head.
He doesn’t know what’s going on anymore but he still felt himself falling on the ground.
“Chuuu!!” He seems to vaguely hear Lightning calling him but his mind was no longer focused.
And with his vision turned blurry, he saw black chains coming out from the Silver-Crystal on his hand, wrapping around his body.
Blood started to appear around his lips. His face immediately paled and looked exhausted.
He felt like the bit of strength and mana inside of him was being consumed by something.
[ Ini…ating…contact… ] Just as Allen heard an unknown voice, the world around him started to dim.
Losing strength, Allen collapsed onto the ground and his consciousness quickly faded.
--- ---
When Allen woke up, he realized that his entire body that was filled with wounds had almost healed without his knowledge and instead of blood; his whole body was covered with sticky transparent mucus.
What happened to me?
Allen’s mind was still a bit fuzzy as he couldn’t remember what happened to him before he lost his consciousness. What he could still remember was him fighting that terrifying Red Elder Dragon. But after that, all of his memories became fuzzy and blurred.
He took a deep breath, trying to stabilize his intense and heavy breathing. Looking around him, he instantly noticed something odd.
Although his wounds were slowly healing from this unknown mucus, he still couldn’t move his body the way he wanted it to. He seems to be exhausted from the fight.
However, what worse is that Allen found himself bound. His both of arms were tied behind him.
What’s going on here?
Turning his head around, all his eyes caught was nothing but dim darkness. However, with his enhanced vision boosted by the skills he got from Alkrasha, this darkness is nothing to him.
He seemed to be in a cave, a dark rocky cave.
Now, that’s new… so was I kidnapped? By whom?
Allen tried moving his arms and found that it was tied extremely tight as if the one who did it was afraid of him breaking out of it.
Although it was somewhat painful, it was nothing for him. Besides, this action is extremely meaningless for him.
He could easily bypass this rope or whatever it is by transforming into lightning!
But Allen refrains to do so. He could do it later but now, he needs to know who has the guts to do this to him. Did they have the backing of King Yama or Hades that they are brave enough to kidnap him?
Next, Allen’s body lit up for a moment and released an electromagnetic wave that travels at the speed of light.
Under the maximum force of spreading it, his [ Sonar ] approximately covered an irregular-sized circle with a radius of ten meters.
He closed his eyes, and everything within ten meters began to map out in his mind.
This trick was easy to learn by mimicking the radio waves. With his abilities as a lightning human, Allen could easily control the electric field around. And by making himself act like an antenna, Allen could receive any kind of information around him even with his eyes or ears closed - although Allen always had a mysterious and peculiar feeling all over his body when using this.
Whether it was the breeze that lightly touched his body, the heat from any kind of living things around him that closed in on him, or the vibration in the air when the creatures make noise, as long as it came into contact with a part of his body, it didn’t matter whether it was the wind, sound, or heat.
He could sense them all.
--- ---
Using his [ Sonar ], Allen surveyed the whole cave and unexpectedly found out the culprit.
It wasn’t a group or a band of humans but a single monster.
A demi-human liminal race with the upper body of a human and the lower body of a spider.
That’s right, it’s an [ Arachne ]!
“I see, so I was kidnapped by an Arachne… but why?”
Allen perked his ears and listen to the electrical sound waves in the air.
He could hear the Arachne undergoing some self-trial… probably.
“@#$%#[email protected]”
It was nervously hovering at a certain part of a cave, muttering some words any human couldn’t understand.
It was kinda irritating in the ear but for some reason, as soon as Allen heard it, his mind immediately translates its meaning.
Arachne language… or should it says Monster language? With Allen as the [ Monster King ], he could almost understand every kind of monster language.
“…I brought him! I brought the human… but what should I do?” The Arachne seemed to be saying.
“…It’s on the spurs of the moment but… what should I do?...Mommy said that…humans are evil…need to be killed…”
“…but…first time eating!...what should I do?”
“…if mommy was here…ah, dangerous…angerous…”
Hearing all these, Allen finally had some clue as to why he was here. Whatever, she’s not a danger for me~
With Allen’s current power a single no, even if it’s a dozen of Arachne were to fight him, they were all not a match~
This Arachne is certainly a kid who still has yet reached adulthood~
Arachne was a carnivorous monster race. They eat human and monsters alike.
There was a tribe of an Arachne on the south who possess a custom of devouring a human as a ritual for coming of age ceremony. Of course, what he meant by devouring was slightly bit different...
“Chuuu…”
Lightning suddenly crawled towards Allen’s position. It was also bounded by a thread and could only crawl like a worm towards Allen.
It was pitiful yet somehow adorable.
“Did she also captured you?”
“Chuu…” Lightning nodded pitifully as if expressing its grievances.
From Lightning’s words, Allen finally found out what had happened and remembered about the Silver Crystal.
Black chains come out from the Crystal and tied towards Allen’s whole body, draining him with his strength and mana. Afterwards, the Silver Crystal turned into a Book and entered inside of him.
Because of this, Allen lost consciousness. When Lightning was waking Allen up, it was suddenly tied by a thread that was stronger than steel.
Hearing all of it, Allen was flabbergasted. “A book?”
He immediately closed his eyes and tried to have a feel for it.
Suddenly, an endless flow of knowledge surged into his brain violently.
Furthermore, it was so strong that it couldn’t be stopped. Allen didn’t even have the time to react as his brain was stuffed with the strange knowledge to the brim.
His mind seemed to understand countless of things, but also not comprehending them. He couldn’t grab the main knowledge and was unable to understand clearly the knowledge he had learned.
But he clearly understands one thing! The true name and function of this book!
Allen immediately opened his eyes and a flash of excitement could be seen flashing on them.
As expected of a Special-Crystal that possess that amount of mana. His expectation wasn’t betrayed, on the contrary, it even falls short.
“[ Summoning Grimoire ]” Allen softly called out.
