For a period of the time, Allen locked himself in his room, doing several experiments on his own powers, such that dinner had to be sent directly to him by Ye Shishi.

Ye Shishi could feel a surging heat within her heart. She had too much to ask, but then, when she tried to open her mouth she didn’t know from where to begin.

She wanted to ask Allen about his and her mother’s relationship but she doesn’t know how to start without being awkward and so, she could only look at Allen reluctantly before leaving through the door.

During these days, she noticed her mother’s ambiguous actions.

For example every morning before leaving, she looks up at the door on Allen’s room with eyes full of ambiguity.

Every evening after work, she stands outside and looks at it again with eyes full of regrets before making dinner, not daring to enter.

She will then asked Ye Shishi about Allen, whether he will go out for dinner, eating his meal, or whether he was asking some things.

Ye Shishi would often ask her about their relationship but Ye Yueshing would just smile wryly and leave. Sometimes she will only answer, “I’m not sure…”

Just what is going on with her mother and Allen? This is really not good…

“Kyaaahhh!!” She was caught off guard and the flames hit her right arm which she reflexively used to block.

“Ahhhh!” She screamed in agony as she flails her arms on the ground.

“Xiao Yun!”

Allen looked at her with a disinterested expression.

The commotion caught the workers and people’s attention as their eyes turned to Sun Yingyun who was wailing like a little child.

“Beast King!” Sun Yueli cried out as he immediately positioned himself between Allen and Sun Yingyun.

“Don’t look at me like that,” Allen shrugged his shoulder and turned his gaze towards golden lady bug.” …this is not my fault.”

“That’s enough,” Allen called out.

The lady bug was still preparing to attack Sun Yingyun but after hearing Allen’s voice, it immediately turned around and flew towards Allen. It then landed on his head.

Allen noticed Sun Yueli’s complicated gaze.

“I said this isn’t my fault. This bug isn’t mine.”

Sun Yueli frowned.

But Allen ignored him and just shrugged with his shoulder nonchalantly. “Just like I said, this [ Golden Dragon Bug ] isn’t mine. It’s just always following and never showing itself… up until now, that is…”

Though I certainly know where this came from…

A beautiful figure appeared on Allen’s mind.

“Following you?”

Allen took the golden lady bug from his head. “Spit.”

He ordered.

The Golden Ladybug wiggled for a moment before it spits a gold colored goo. Scooping it, Allen gave it to Sun Yueli.

“Let her eat this.” He said. “Though this child isn’t mine, it is somehow related to me. So her attack is still my responsibility.”

Sun Yueli nodded his head and took the gold colored goo. He didn’t ask what it was because he also knows what it is.

[ Golden Dragon Bug ] is a very rare and valuable monster for every tamer. Not only it possesses strong flame type ability, it also possesses an ability that could heal any kind of wounds.

He shrugged his shoulders and eyed Sun Yingyun’s furious, but a pretty face. For some unknown reason, some warmth actually surfaced in his originally icy cold heart once again.

He was currently amused. This girl wanted to bite him but could she do so?

Biting him is ten times stronger than killing a Lv5 monster.

“Wushuang?” A familiar cool sweet voice of a woman suddenly sounded from behind him, causing Allen to halt his footsteps and turn around doubtfully.

Turning his head, Allen saw Ye Yueshing walking towards him.

“Just walking around…” Allen answered.

His voice completely different compared to the one he used when speaking at the Sun siblings.

It was gentle, calm and relaxed.

There’s no distance… of course, by distance, Allen didn’t mean about the literal distance between them but the distance of their relationship.

Ye Yuesheng noticed Allen’s collar looked crooked. She hesitated for a moment before giving the paper she was holding to the guy behind her. With her hands free, she reached out to adjust it for him. She then pulled away a strand of messy hair from his sideburns. These actions were natural, and nothing felt wrong about them.

“I know that you’re strong but that part of the forest is too dangerous if you go alone. Terrifying monsters inhabit that part.”

Her action was too intimate.

For a moment Allen was silent, then he decided it would be for the best if he pretended not to have noticed anything.

There are things in this world better not said.

As a gentleman, whatever strange things women do is always normal. They are illogical creatures after all~

Allen did not move and stood here, allowing Ye Yuesheng to adjust his shirt and hair. He closed his eyes, visibly enjoying the care and gentleness of Ye Yuesheng. He felt as if he had gone back in time and this caused him to feel something inside him relax after a long time.

“I like your fried rice,” after saying that, Allen turned around and started walking towards the forest.

Gradually, he disappeared from everyone’s sight.

Ye Yuesheng stood on the original spot while watching Allen slowly disappearing into the dense and dark forest.

A long while later, she sighed in an absentminded manner and said softly, “I don’t know what those dreams are and why you are in there. I know that I haven’t met you before but why do I feel as if those dreams are real… why do I feel happy looking at you? Suddenly she laughed bitterly, “I think I’m losing it… though this feeling doesn’t seem so bad at all…”
