《Fantasial Apocalypse》Chapter 21: [ A Beast? ]

On the side of the armored trucks and buses, the civilian boarding was already complete.
For one last time, Ms. Grace walked towards Allen and suddenly embraced him. Allen was caught off guard but he didn’t resist and instead circled his hand around her waist and hugged her back.
“Thank you for saving us, no, me back then.”
“…You’re welcome…” Allen paused for a moment and then continued. “…be careful out there and never trust anybody. Every human has their own shadows; you would never know what they are thinking. Only trust yourself, even the people you know, don’t trust them.”
“Allen…”
“I know what you want to say but it’s best if you keep suspicious on other people so that you can survive no matter what happened. In that sense, you would never be hurt even if they betrayed you…”
“… …”
“Understand?”
Ms. Grace stared at him blankly for a moment. His voice held a hint of sorrow and deep sadness.
Just why could he say those words? Just what happened to him to think like that?
“Allen…” She wanted to ask about it but then she immediately stopped herself.
Looking at him, she said, “Allen, since these things started, it’s like you’ve become a different person.”
Allen smilingly looked at him as he queried, “Have I? How come I don’t feel it?”
Shaking her head, Ms. Grace said, “I can’t express it. Your eyes seem a bit more mysterious and your aura as well. Mm, it’s like you’re a different person than my student; Allen.”
The current Allen’s presence and expression were all much too malevolent. He was simply too different from usual!
His eyes were even more profound and mysterious, and his entire demeanor had changed. He was full of an unexplainable feeling, making Grace feel a bit surprised.
“You’re only imagining it.” Allen looked at her and smiled faintly.
I’m not! Ms. Grace was certain herself that this wasn’t her imagination but she could only swallow those words back.
After separating herself from Allen, Ms. Grace then precedes to the last car, albeit reluctantly as she keeps glancing back at him.
Allen only looked at them, leaving one by one.
“Allen…”
At this moment, Mia appeared at this time.
“There’s no stopping it now. I’ll believe in you and wait for you to come back. Me and your sister, the entire ‘Bianchi’ Family will always be on your side, remember that, no matter what happens.”
Mia had a firm expression as she declared this; she then pulled Allen into her embrace with one hand and suddenly kissed down on his lips.

A slippery tongue moved voluntarily into Allen’s mouth, entangling with his fiercely.
Allen froze and doesn’t know what to do, but after a short while, like a seasoned person, his hands started unceremoniously roving all over her well-rounded body.
An intoxicating, wondrous sense started to spread out from Allen’s heart as their mouths and tongues entangled and he entwined himself with her body.
After a while, when both their breathing was starting to become difficult, they finally panted heavily and broke apart. Allen then drew close to Mia’s bright red ears, nipping her bright red ear tips, and said softly, “You bad girl. It’s good that most of the people had left…”
“I don’t care…”
“Idiot.”
On the side, Aileen was now wearing a very stiff expression when she saw how intimate Allen and Mia were. Her face was now bright red. But she wasn’t in a position to say anything about Allen and Mia’s relationship.
Coughing lightly, she braved the chilly wind to walk up to them, a stiff smile appearing on her stunning face.
Seeing this, Mia only smiled casually. “Be careful… remember, your life isn’t only yours anymore. Contact me anytime, whether it was for something or not just call me.
“I know.” Allen also comforted Mia with a smile.
Then, Mia turned her gaze towards Aileen and said, “Come with me for a moment, I need to talk to you about something.”
“…okay”
--- ---
“Good luck Allen and please be careful.”
“Yeah, leave it to me.”
Leaving those words, Mia entered a black colored BMW M3 Sedan car and left.
In the empty hospital, only Allen and Aileen were left standing.
“What did she talk about?” Allen asked the girl beside him.
“Hm?” Aileen’s body trembled. She remembered her talk with Mia before she left.
“Don’t let your eyes off of Allen for a second.” Mia suddenly told her as soon as they made some distance from Allen.
“Huh? Why?”
“…you don’t need to know. However, just to give you some heads up, Allen is like a beast.”
“A beast?!” Hearing those words from Mia, Aileen couldn’t help but become dumbfounded. It was out of her expectations for Mia to call Allen such cruel name.
“…Although right now, it should be safe. Allen changed when he met us… but because of the sudden betrayal that happened just a few days ago, I don’t know what will happen in the future. That is why…”
“Stop! Just please stop for a moment! I don’t understand you! Just what are you talking about?! Beast? Betrayal?”
“I can’t say any specific details but I need to warn you beforehand. I just hope that I’m overthinking things, but I just can’t help it when that b*tch just gone and done it!

Damn it, I’m really going to kill her when I see her… anyway, right now, because of that b*tch actions, Allen right now is like a bomb that was waiting to explode.
He was like a caged beast right now and the moment that that beast got free, things would surely go awry.”
B*tch? Aileen doesn’t have any clue as to who Mia was referring to. It seems like Mia really hated that woman as she was talking and glaring daggers at the same time while mentioning her. Just what the heck happened between them?
“Um, I don’t know what language you’re speaking right now. And I didn’t understand any of those things you mentioned. Allen? A beast? I can’t understand!”
“No need to, I agreed to let you go with him because of this reason. I just want you to keep an eye on him… although if something bad happened to him, then be prepared because I will kill you.”
“Then what the heck am I supposed to do?”
“Just keep an eye on him. And the moment you noticed something strange, call me immediately…. Understand?!”
“O-okay…”
“That’s good…”
Remember Aileen. Allen might not be the strongest or the fastest, he also didn’t possess the greatest firepower among us, but as for who's the type of person we least wanted to make an enemy out of, is none other than Allen!
He was the most terrifying from all of us. He possesses a darkness that not even one of us can’t compare.
“ It, it’s nothing.” Aileen softly answered as she straightened her gaze towards the youth in front of her.
A beast?
The youth in front of her was nothing like that. Ever since they met, he gives her a kind, courageous and strong feeling.
“You would never imagine it because you never saw ‘that’...”
Just what is Mia talking about?
“Hmm, whatever…”
--- ---
“Did something happen, milady?”
Quietly sitting inside the car, Mia turned her head to take a look at the guy sitting in front. He was tall, had a very beautiful pair of eyes and appeared like a lively guy.
However, right now, he was in front of Mia so instead of displaying his usually lively attitude, he said politely in a timid manner: “You seemed to be worrying something, could we help you, milady?”
“What’s it to you?” Mia glared with a cold voice.
“I am sorry.”
“Nah, forget it…anyway, let me ask you something. In this crazy world, do you feel fear?”
“Fear…is it? Well, it would be a lie if I answered with a no. I think humans; no matter how strong they are they would still feel fear in front of something dangerous. Although, we are always prepared to lay our lives for you…”
Mia smiled, “I see… that is right. Fear is an important part of survival. By conquering it little by little, people could become stronger, but…”
Although I feel fear from Allen but at ‘that time’ surely…
“…it’s not fear. At that time, I could feel a different thing from him. I think right now, he could be able to feel fear after our meeting…”
… Or maybe, it’s just his human feelings coming back…
“…but at that time, his was something incredibly dangerous…” Mia looked at the scenery outside the window in a daze…
A memory appeared inside her mind.
That was the first time Allen and Mia met in a close distance… in that place filled with blood and corpses for both human and monsters…
“Milady?” the tall guy driving the car softly called out.
“It’s nothing…”
Mia then said nothing, just quietly looking out of the window.
I wonder what this apprehension is…
The unease she feels the more intimate she become with Allen and the closer she gets to his heart…
As if something lurks there as if she’s peeking into incomprehensible darkness…
Just what is this feeling …I wonder….
“Oh.” The guy immediately returned his gaze to the road and sped away toward the airport.
There are some things that aren’t supposed to change in this world no matter what happens…
But once one thing changed, it would just be a matter of time before it led to other changes. And no matter how long time passes, or no matter what world it was, it will no longer be able to return to what it was… right, Allen?
That darkness you carry, it might seem to have disappeared but did it really…?
“That is why I’m really sorry Allen. It’s not like I don’t trust you or anything, in fact, I trusted you the most in this world. But in order to protect you, I need to do this.”
To protect you, I need to repress the ‘real beast’ that resides… inside of you…
However, if even if I can’t do it then at least, you won’t be alone in this world. I will accompany you no matter what happens, I will take this oath in my name.
