Alex and Harold Schmidt links their [Magic Chip] and starts drafting up a simple contract using the [Magic Chip]. After both parties agrees to the term, they confirmed their consent to their respective fairy, effectively signing the contract. This way they can both be sure that no one will renege on the contract. The party that renege on the contract will still see their hard-earned credits disappear according to the value of the contract. After transferring the credits through the [Magic Chip], Alex says his goodbye to Harold.

The items will be done by noon tomorrow, so it means that Alex has a day of free time. Alex decides to stroll around the town for a few hours to relax. He has been cooped up in his training room for the past few days. One day of training won't make a big difference anyway as he just made a breakthrough in his {Energy Manipulation} skill.

As he walks around the commercial area, Alex finds a stall that sells F-ranked {Mana Potion} and {Health Potion}. He decides to buy them from this stall. It might be useful in emergency situations.

"How much for a vial of {Mana Potion} and {Health Potion}?" Alex approaches the stall and starts asking.

"Oh, hello. 45 credits for each vial, 85 credits if you buy two of the same type," the seller replies with a flattering smile.

"Then I will take two vials of each potions," Alex gets right to the point.

"Thank you, dear customer," the seller replies with delight at this customer's quick purchase.

Alex and the seller shake hands to start linking their [Magic Chip] so Alex transfers the 170 credits to the seller. After confirming the payment, the seller hands Alex the potions. Alex puts the potions in his backpack and continue strolling down the bustling road.

After walking around for half an hour, suddenly Fay's voice sounded in his head.

"Alex, there is a communication request from Ichiko Kagawa. Do you want to accept?"

Surprised by this sudden notification, Alex stops in his place for a few seconds. He recalled the beautiful and valiant girl he met at the southern forest on his first trip to this realm.

"I will accept it."

Despite being confused by this sudden communication request, Alex still accepts it.

"Hi Alex Volff, I'm Ichiko Kagawa, the girl you helped in the southern forest two weeks ago. Do you still remember me?" a girl's voice sounded in Alex's head.

"Ah, hello. Yes, I still remember you. Is there anything I can do?" Alex replies through the [Magic Chip].

"I told you that I would return the favor of you helping me back then," Ichiko Kagawa replies.

"Oh, it's nothing really. No need to return anything,"

"No, I insist. I don't like owing anybody," Ichiko Kagawa replies with a firm tone.

"Okay then if you insist," Alex replies helplessly.

"Are you free right now?" Ichiko asks.

"Yes, I'm just strolling around in the western commercial area of Beginner Town,"

"Oh, perfect. Can we meet somewhere there?"

"Let me see. Wow, there is a ramen restaurant not far from me. They even sell ramen in this realm, haha. Let's meet there,"

"What's the name of that ramen restaurant?" Ichiko asks.

"It's called #1 Ramen. Haha.. what a boastful name," Alex replies.

"Okay. Please wait for me there. I will be there soon," says Ichiko.

"Okay."

Alex is surprised when he walks into the ramen restaurant. There are a lot of people inside this restaurant. It seems like the name of this place is not just empty brags. To eat in this place Alex needs to pay using credits. The ramen costs 1-2 credits each bowl. Alex finds an empty seat and orders a bowl of ramen as he feels hungry after walking around all morning.

"Ah, I'm about to eat with a beautiful girl," Alex starts mumbling to himself.

"Can this be considered a date? The first date in my 15 years of living?"

The inexperienced Alex starts blushing from his own (delusional?) thought.

While Alex is indulging in his own daydreams, Ichiko Kagawa enters the ramen restaurant. She finds Alex and proceeds to walk to his table.

"Hello," Ichiko greets the daydreaming Alex Volff.

"Ah, hello. Please sit down," Alex wakes up from his daydreams and greets her back while blushing a little.

"Thank you," Ichiko takes a seat while not noticing his slightly blushing face.

"Oh, I've already ordered. Please order whatever you like. My treat. Haha.." Alex starts the conversation with an awkward laugh.

"Thank you, but no need. I have other matters to attend to, so I will be direct," Ichiko replies coolly.

Alex flashes a disappointed look on his face which he quickly disguises.

"Okay then," Alex replies with an awkward smile.

"As I said earlier, I want to return the favor of you helping me back then. Please accept this as my thank you gift," Ichiko hands Alex a small brown pouch.

"Thank you. What is this?" Alex asks with a confused expression looking at the pouch.

"You can use [Observe] later to find out," Ichiko replies.

"I have other matters to attend, so I'm sorry that I have to leave immediately," Ichiko continues.

"Oh, okay. No problem. I'm still waiting for my ramen," Alex replies still with an awkward smile.

"Goodbye, then. Again, thank you for helping me back then," Ichiko says her goodbye while slightly bowing.

"Goodbye."

Shortly after Ichiko Kagawa walks out of the restaurant, Alex's ramen arrives at his table. Alex decides to put the brown pouch inside his backpack and use [Observe] later to find out what it is. For now it's time to satisfy his starving belly.
