《Idmon the Skeleton》Lord of Death (Dwarf King POV)

Intermission: Lord of Death (Dwarf King POV)
The army of the goblins was much more threatening now that they’re in front of the capital.
Just like when the Undead Army of old went by, I froze with fear for a moment, but I quickly regained my composure.
I ordered my men to make the first move by attacking them with cannons and ballistae.
But they deflected it, with a barrier!?
When did the goblin mages become that useful? Before, they can only cast weak spells that they cast together to make it worth blocking.
This is getting complicated. I did not expect the goblins to reflect our best defenses.
As I tried to think of another way to win this battle, the sky went fire red.
I thought it was already sunset but it was not. It was just morning… Why is the sun already setting?
When I looked, I could not believe my eyes.
The inside of the barrier of the goblins.
Explosions filled it. It was hell.
It was the exact same spell that destroyed our ancestral home. Back when the dwarves were plentiful.
The abominable .
I can’t believe it, only one-fourth the goblin army was left.
It might be a smaller version of the spell but, to be able to do that.
That undead creature has to be a monster.
I used the confusion caused by the explosions to have my ground army attack.
Just as when I was trying to wrap my head around things.
The reported Behemoth was now fighting the undead leader, as said by my scouts. And he even had an Undead Behemoth of his own!
The last straw would be that my scouts reported that a descendant of the Ice Queen might be part of their group.
They saw an Ice spear spell that could only be read in legends since the Ice Queen lived thousands of years ago.

Who are these people?
By the way, The goblins are also weird. They are still fighting and did not seem to be scared at all. It was like they were intent on dying here at this battle or following their orders — no morale drop for them even when we took down their fat goblin king. Even the king did not look aware of what’s transpiring.
All in all, it was a victory. We only had injuries, and no casualties reported.
Now time to meet our savior.
Is he a direct descendant of the Skeleton King? A general?
Or maybe even a duke or second-in-command.
While waiting for them to arrive, I felt an indescribable chill. It was like death itself has come into our doors.
I looked up. Shadow was covering our army.
A Bone Behemoth! And on top of it, the leader of their army. Idmon!
He jumped down, carrying his spear and shield.
Crashing down and causing shockwaves.
A banshee followed him, causing a chilling aura to everyone around. He was covered in unnatural energies, like a robe of death.
Then he talked to me using .
Idmon: “(t) Nice to meet you, Dwarven King.”
I was mistaken.
This guy is the Lord of Death.
I had my servants kneel, and I made a short bow.
Dwarf King Wargh: “The pleasure is ours, Lord Idmon.”

Mud's Mission
The story begins with an elderly hermit mage living on the outskirts of a labyrinth town. Invoking spellwork that is trivial for a mage of his caliber, he creates a simple mud automaton to aid him in household chores. However, in the middle of his efforts, something goes wrong; his ancient heart finally fails. Now, half complete and with limited understanding of the world, an artificial being of mud stirs. Despite its limitations, it has a mission to fulfill. The last instructions of a dying creator. "Defend my home, and my possessions." To the mechanical mind of Mud, only absolute perfection is acceptable when fulfilling the orders of The Master. Mud will make sure nothing in the universe will ever threaten The Master's home! --- This fiction contains RPG elements such as skills and levels. The protagonist has an inhuman mind and acts on instincts and preferences that are completely different from those of a normal human, and may at times fly in the face of common sense. The general tone is lighthearted, but there are some scenes with disturbing content such as mind control and references to torture. Join our Discord to discuss the novel or chat with the author.

Until Death? (Refleshed Version)
Ever been a god? Well, I was! Until I died.... and got judged by the other gods! Apparently, they didn't like the whole "My Faith is the only true one!" idea. Oh, and for the record: The Apocalypse wasn't intentional, ok? In my defense, I want it to be known that my enemies threw the first stone and the whole 'Offer the other cheek' just isn't my thing. Seems like, for punishment, I get sent onto a vacation! Or so I hope? ——————————————————————————————— Reading Order of the Multiverse-Books ——————————————————————————————— Author's Comment: It's here, a rewrite? Yes! I would like to think that this version will have better grammar, better jokes, hopefully, everything better. Since it was my first work and started solely to improve my English, the grammar always caused me headaches when I looked at it. Well, and there are the plotholes which appeared with the whole multiverse thing that came with my other works... Let's just say that the first one was never written with the idea of turning it into a series. So let's get a shovel and fill-up the plot so that hapless readers won't fall into those pitch-black pits. They might break a knee! Or worse, vanish forever. And now the disclaimer everyone knows: I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently, I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur)
