《Re: Rabbit Eyes [Draft]》[Arc 1] Chapter 21 - VS Har'Lus [Part 2]

"...Come to think of it, how did you break free from her Petrification Gaze?"
"?"
Ah, looks like his level of mind manipulation or reading isn't at Ru'Ah's level.
He probably can only hear some of my thoughts. I should keep my secrets in check mentally... Also if some parts of his mind manipulation are different, does that mean his reach and number of people he can control at once changes too?...
Also, I'll have you know this body of hers has racked up a serious arsenal of lethal skills, when you engage me...
Come with the mentality of being prepared to die.
The Sword of Bloodwell slowly levitated towards me and released itself from Soma's hands, much to her surprise.
"?!"
She was still trying to get up on her feet from that push earlier. My body suffered from some broken bones, but she still tried to stand up.
"I revise my earlier statement, you're more impressive than I thought~ Now I really want you as well. Ahh, it's been so long since I've gotten a smart one in my head stock~"
"..."
Har'Lus came out of the hole in the tree caused by my earlier push, and clapped slowly while walking towards me.
"Using Psyche Swap like that to break free, you probably have both Chaos and Holy alignment eh~ That's pretty rare, are you right in the head really? Multiple personalities perhaps? Aha? I was right?"
"..."
"You wanted to test the intellect of us parasites right? Well, just to let you know how I did it?"
Taking my silence for consent, he slowly moved towards me as he started to explain.
"See, Chaos' Nature alone hoards power, but is unable to be transferred. That was only half the equation you had to make use of the body of that girl. But you had Holy too, which bore the characteristic to give. The two combined to become an anomaly which could contain the Chaos element of a Petrification Gaze. That was pretty clever of you, I'll give that to you~"
"...Heh, looks like I'll have to revise it with only half a brain instead. That's a huge step-up in my book."
"?!"

Har'Lus was extremely offended by the sudden rude remark, and lunged forward.
"You truly are insufferable... Then there is no longer a need to talk between us, child!"
"You're all talk yourself."
"Huh-?"
"Diamond Dust."
A fog of sharp glitter suddenly covered the area of the forest, obscuring the view of Har'Lus.
But he was already charging in with accumulated speed, thus some damage was inflicted onto him while he was still going forward.
"Petty tricks!"
He immediately put his palms together quickly, instantly sweeping the fog away from a resulting shockwave.
But it did not deter me from my chant, which was my original intention all along.
"Sword Field, Sword Summon, Sword Dance, Blade Current."
"Wh-"
A barrage of effects and attacks were accumulated like this, chaining and stacking off each other with synergistic movements. Countless swords flew towards Har'Lus from all directions like heat-seeking missiles.
A loud explosion was created from this fluent transition of sword skills.
The beauty of the flowing sword movement captivated Soma at this very moment.
B-beautiful... I have never... seen someone use them like this...
Title acquired: Blade Orchestrator, Combo Specialist, Logical Mind
Within the calculative mind of White, his skill proficiency was instantly through the roof. During the 30 seconds of looking through the skill window of Soma, he had already improvised more than 20 ways to fight.
Among one of them, was a way to manipulate the sword without touching it. 200 skill points was spent on Spatial Flow Control. Soma's body no longer had enough to utilize another one time skill with her Single Skill Manipulation.
Except for a few cheap abilities that had some minor status modifiers lasting a few seconds.
"GAHHHHHHRrrrhhhgh!!! Harden Skin!"
Har'Lus immediately protected himself within the flurry of blade missiles that were piercing him with a protective ability that made his body reflect the swords coming at him.
The fog of Diamond Dust disappeared from that attack.
Green mucus was splattering all over the floor; He had suffered massive and grievious wounds on his host's chest and both of his legs.
He stared angrily at Soma's body, and just noticed the Sword of Bloodwell in suspension.
"Ghh... I see how you used these skillsss...!!! No matter, gloat while you can! Hahahaha! DRUGWORM, EXPLODE YOURSELF INSIDE OF HER BODY!"

"...?!"
"Haha, it won't work. It's my turn now?"
How did the worm I've implanted inside of that girl not implode?! What is this boy?! How is he doing this! My final card has no effect?!
The boy taunted me at this moment, which made me combust with irritation.
Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. SHIIIIITT!!! I won't allow it, not like this! It won't end like thisss!!!
"I have no choice, I'll just have to do it then~!"
All these while, my body still retained the shape of the man known as Len de Eschtalier. But I don't care anymore, I'll just look for another host after I'm done with this kid!
But in the middle of transforming into my true form, the boy in Soma's body suddenly started casting again.
"Sword Dance, Cross-slash, Blade Current."
"?! Harden Skin!"
The swords created by the Sword Field earlier behind me were lifted up by the Sword Dance, and before the system completed the skill, he casted Cross-slash to created a spinning momentum for the blades, and then used Blade Current to raise the impact force upon collision with my skin!
This boy, knows how to fight?!
"Tch. I thought it'd be slower. I wasted some mana because of that."
The body of Len exploded and revealed the inner contents of my body. An arachnid-looking body surfaced, like a spider. Eight of my legs were divided equally on each side with human heads covering the extension of these legs. My body was a pitcher plant-like creature, with 4 spiked tongues within it.
Within it contained the body of a girl known as Rien, but she might as well be considered dead at this point~ It was just another fuel point for Soma Suzuhara to rack up the despair for.
I had no heads to see, but the human heads acted as my vision, which were cleverly planted on each leg and the surface of my bigger arachnid body compartment.
"You lack the proper etiquette in combat, you stupid kid!" I gnarled.
It was a close call had I not cast a second Harden Skin again the second some parts of my true form surfaced. It ticked me off extremely hard.
"Round two! Come at me!"
"What Round Two, it's over."
"?!"
"Don't you listen to advice? I told you to stop talking, if that's all you're good at. ...Because your idiocy which you've been trying to disprove, is still hurting my ears."
The swords that ricocheted off my hardened skin bounced back like a boomerang and sliced off my 8 legs.
"Aaaarrgghghhhh!!! MY LEGSSSSS!!! MY LEGSSS!!!"
Har'Lus's legs were steaming, as if being boiled in acid. He was paralyzed by the excruciating pain he had never experienced, as he repeated in his head:
IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!!IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!!IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!!IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!!IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!!IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!!IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!! IT HURTS!!!
Using the body of Soma Suzuhara, the boy walked closer and closer towards me slowly, with the sword in suspension.
"H-Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! Don't come any closer!!! T-that's right! I won't bother you anymore! I'll leave you alone! I won't!!! Please!!! Spare me!!! Spare meee!!!"
40 points has been expended.
You have learnt the ability: Ignore Equipment Debuff.
White stood in front of the handicapped Har'Lus.
"I don't want to die!!! I don't want to die!!! It's not fairrr!!! IT'S NOT FAIR!!! DON'T KILL ME! DON'T K-"
"...You're a slow one, aren't you. I told you didn't I? Come with the mentality of being prepared to die."
Finishing those words, White clutched the two-handed sword on his right hand and sliced apart the entire parasite body in two without mercy.
The slash created a beautiful red afterglow in the night.
Har'Lus's life had ended before he had the chance to retaliate or use any of his concealed skills.
