Alex visited Falsworth first in England, when he arrived they spent the better part touring his country estate. Fortunately for Falsworth his property had suffered very little it being in the country, but the same could not be said for all the in city real estate.

He also go involve for a month in helping out clearing some rubble in London. He did that for two reasons, the first being that he wanted to go to France via boat. The captain and crews he found told him that they wouldn't be going to sea until they finish clearing this section of rubble. The second was just seeing the devastation the bomber had done to London, compares to the sturdiness of the people around in fixing their capitol. Had inspired him into lending a helping hand to the work. Bonus points in that during the trip to France the captain an crew were more then happy to have him aboard.

Once he arrive in France, he meet up with Dernier and Gabe. Sadly for Dernier it wasn't all fun and games, half of his familly where killed during the occupation. Some because they had joins the resistance, and others because they had spied for the Natzis. It had hit him pretty hard learning that during this trying time his familly had thorn themselves apart. Gabe had been by his side at the very least, so he didn't have to live througth this alone.

One of the happiest surprise was that Gabe became very much in loved with Dernier sister, an she in turn accepted his proposal. So he'd unwittingly made it even before he got the letter of invitation. He spend another month staying with Dernier and Gabe waiting for the other member of the howling to show up for the wedding.

Peggy, Howard and the general also pop in for the ceremony. The general just to congratulate Gabe, and spend time talking to other people about stories of what they lived throughs their in the war. Peggy spend some time like that as well, but she also went around an spoke with each member asking if she ever needed them would they answer the call. Howard entertain and delighted everyone else, he even manage to hook up with a girl at the party, while he already had a girl on his arm when he arrive. The lucky bastard left with the two.

It became quite the festival, not only was it a wedding but it also doubled as a gattering for friends and comrades. After the wedding Alex once again set out to his final destination before going back home. During his time traveling he'd come to the conclusion that when he got back he would start his own business.

Somewere in the country side of Poland

"I think I got the right place?" Alex said as look at the destroyed town. From what Abraham told him and Friedrich as well this should be the place.

"Looks like they bomb the place. Why the hell would they destroy this place it has no strategic value at all?" Alex was confuse cause this town seem to be an isolated ruin, not one soul around for miles.

"Still, it a good thing Friedrich gave me this map from Abraham, or else, I could spend years looking around, not even sure what the hell I was looking for." Alex said as took out the map. Even with the map, trying to find some land mark wasn't easy, since everything around was blown to smithereens. Not one house or building was standing everywhere he looked, rubble was what he saw.

"Ok, if this was the center of town, maybe it this way?" Alex said as he move in one direction. Only to later turn to another in frustration. He started to curse who ever destroyed this town, this was complete madness, their wasn't even any dead remains in the ruin of the town. It like the towns people all got taken away, then someone just for the hell of it destroyed the town for no other reasons then to waste ammunitions.

A few hours went by until Alex came to realise this would take alot longer then expected. So he decided to go back and gather proper equipment and anything else he would need for this excavation.

A week later

"Ok, lets start round two." Alex said, he knew that what he was doing wasn't rational, but he decided to find whatever it was that Abraham and Friedrich ask him to find. He also wasn't afraid to admit that he secretly hope that he was going to find a treasure chest of some kind.

That how he spent the next two months going through everything. He finally found the building he was looking for, it took him three weeks to pin point it from the rest of the rubble. Another two to figure he wasn't digging in the right place, and three more to figure that he had to start all over again but from the foundation of the building. Many a time he would trow down his equipment and curse the heaven, he questions many times his sanity in the pursuit of completing his promises to the Erskine brothers.

With a final swing the wall of earth crumbles, Alex stop he was suprise to find a tunnel. This wasn't on the map, maybes this is what he was looking for.

"Please oh mighty digging god let this be what I seek." Alex said as he knelt down in worship to the earth. The constant digging had gotten to him. He got back up climb out of the hole went back to camp, he decide to eat something before exploring the tunnel. Once he finish cleaning up, he prepared for a quick visit inside the tunnel. Standing at the entrence. "I really hope, this is what I'm looking for." Alex sigh, any exitment was subdued he spent a whole two month going up and down in his emotion spectrum.

Turning on The flash light he enter the tunnel. " Please don't let it be some creepy monster I'm unwittingly freeing." Alex beg to himself an any higher powers that might be watching.

Moving slowly he notice that the tunnel had been reinforce, it being so deep underground it was no wonder that it hadn't collapse after the towns destruction. Maybe he was in the escape tunnel of the town? This didn't make any sense why would anyone build this? So many questions he continues moving until he arrive at a dead end.

Looking at the cave in, he guest that this was the original entrance. But with the destruction of the town this entrance was destroyed, this would explaine the map odd entrance direction.

"Well, then that means, that what I'm looking for is back their." Alex said as he turn around, he just stood still for a moment, he felt like at this point this might be the last chances to simply walk away. Leaving everything in the ground, Abraham wanted him to destroy something, but wasn't leaving it here, in the ground, also a way to destroy it, by letting it be forgotten by time.

"No, he ask me, to do this, so lets see it trough to the end." Alex said with conviction. As he back track his steps, he past once more the hole he made and keep on moving.

The tunnel went on for a while, he couldn't understand the purpose of the tunnel, cause from his perspective it seem to keep going down. If it did, then this was the worse escape tunnel ever. He arrives at a iron door with silver marking on it.

"The hell, it that silver?" Alex got closer to the marking, examining them up close. "What are they? I don't recognize any of them." He was getting more and more confuse as he got closer to his destination.

"Ok, so this door has marking I don't recognize. So that means, Abraham was involve in the occult? But he never strike me as the hocus pocus type." Alex was even more confuse this was almost against everything he knew about the man. Abraham seem on the side of science and not magic. So how did he end up mixt into that world, the answer was beyond this door.

"So I'm not getting any creepy vibe from the door, beside the usual weirdness. Nor am I getting anything like if I open this door something horrible going to happen. So let get this over with." Alex said as he push on the door.

"Whoops, I need to pul it." Alex was glad that he was alone down here, it would've been very embarrassing otherwise.

As he open the door he walk in to an old lab, their was some equipment for chemistry on a table covered in dusts. A shelve with books about various scientific subjects, and another with mystical subjects. Looking around their also seem to be some kind of altar. Their was also an old single mattress bed in the corner, he walk over to it, their was door beside. Opening the door he figured that with the hole an bench this was the toilet.

Looking back at the map, the words on the bottom kind made more sense now. "Look it the red chest." Alex said out loud, he looked around going to another door he found all sorts of things, this seem to be some kind of storage space.

Under some stuffs he finally found the red chest. "Good at least I don't have to spend more time digging or looking around for this." Alex said as move the stuff off from the chest. Looking at it he figured it would be to heavy to lift all by himself so he hope he could carry what was inside.

The chest needed a key, but since he didn't have any he decided to bust it open with the pickaxes he brought with him. But first he went around and check the lamps in the place. He was lucky since their seem to still be some oil in them. He took out his matches and lit every lamp. Then he drag the chest out of the storage into the open room, it would be easier for him in swinging around his pickaxes.

"Ok, momemt of truth here." Alex said as he raise his pick, but he stop mid swing.

"Im an idiot, I didn't event check it to see if it was boobytrap. Good thing I didn't hit yet." Alex said as he let sigh of relief out. He then check the chest as best he could but found no traps.

So without ceremony the pick broke the lock on the first try, Alex open the chest inside was a safe. "Oh for to love of........" Alex began cursing at Abraham cause he never said anything about a safe.

After some grumbling he calm down. "Look like I need to go back to camp to get some tools to see if I can't open it." Alex said this whole venture had been very exhausting.
