《Enigma's Multiverse (Rewritten, link in description)》Chapter 16- Elite V2

Finally, he had reached level 6. At this point, the rest of his clothes had been reduced to nothingness. Dressed in a makeshift skirt fashioned out of the pelt of the cosmic tusker, it was time to move on.

Name Timothy Quill Daoist Name Daoist Earth's Vengeance Titles Dao Seeker (L), Between Life and Death (U) Recognition Young Master of the Quill Trading House Level 6 Race Human Dao Minor Dao: Wind. Aspect: Speed, Sharpness. Cultivation Initiate (Early Stage) Class (Unlocks at level 10) - Intelligence 20 Wisdom 17 Constitution 27 + 3 = 30 Strength 16 + 2= 18 Agility 24 Luck 19
Deciding to round off his constitution at 30, he dumped the remaining into strength because it was lagging too far behind the rest of his stats. He didn't intend to be a jack of all trades, but he could afford to invest two points to give him some extra firepower. At 30 constitution, he finally saw some tangible change. His skin appeared to have tightened, and felt denser. As if he suddenly had closely packed dragon scales instead of a porous outer layer. He used his rapier to prick himself a bit, and there was a fair degree of resistance before a trickle of blood poured out.
He proceeded forward deeper into the forest. Looking around, he found some [Sharyu Leaves] that could provide him with sustainance, and decided to harvest a few after throwing stones imbibed with his wind dao to check for any ambush.
Surprisingly, he didn't feel sleepy even after marching for around a day now. An hour in, when he was 60 percent of the way through, he was pondering whether he was the only one demented enough to take option 4..... No matter what situation he envisioned, he just couldn't believe this challenge was meant for humans.
He wondered why he wasn't in despair at this hopelessly despondent situation, but moving forward with an analytical mind as if nothing was out of the norm. He couldn't understand it, but he felt relaxed, as if he was strolling in a park, instead of being terrified of this eerie atmosphere. Had he already gotten used to living life by the might of his blade? He didn't think so.

"Or maybe it's because you can't break a broken vase further" He thought. Maybe he was just exhausted of the way he lived his life, always feeling as if he was in free fall towards the abyss without any handholds to grab onto. Now that he had finally gotten some hope, finally accepted that his actions were wrong, he would not let go of that feeling so easily.
It came from above this time, without any warning, without any noise. Tim's wisdom had already given him a feeling something was wrong, because it was too quiet. That either meant there was no beasts lurking in the area, or just one terrifying beast hiding, waiting to ambush unsuspecting prey.
It was a mutated monkey, with sharp talons resembling that of an eagle, but much larger and intimidating. It came at him at a cunning angle, trying to ambush Tim from the left side, while he wielded his sword in his right.
The important thing was that Tim could not spook the creature, he could not let it discover that he had been clued in to his existence. Though the angle of attack was surprising, he was not helpless.
The monkey was descending, talons stretched outward and in free fall. Tim moved his right foot forward, gripped the rapier with both hands and such strength that it cut into him, for the rapier's hilt was not designed to be capable of use with two hands, but he didn't care. There was no time to infuse the rapier with the daos, but he didn't intend to. It wasn't necessary.
He swung his rapier backwards, using his right foot to pivot while his left foot was hanging in the air, twisting his body and swinging, aimed as high as he could muster. He knew his named weapon, though hopelessly light, wouldn't break no matter what he put it through. And with all his 18 strength pumped into that shot, the monkey went careening away a few meters after which it smacked into a nearby tree with a loud thunk. It's ambush had failed.

His ridiculous form was laughable, but he didn't give a damn. He was a survivor, and if surviving meant using his rapier as a throwing knife then that's what he'd do.
" Homerun, MOTHERFUCKER" yelled Tim, while charging in direction of the monkey. The monkey had gotten onto it's feet faster than expected, just about to run up the tree and go out of striking range, after which it could return for a later ambush.
Unfortunately for it, Tim was already in striking range. This time, instead of lunging at the monkey he started slashing at it. He was unsure of how tough it's hide would be, so he didn't want to commit to an attack completely.
Instead of focusing on sharpness from the beginning, he used the wind around him to solely focus on his speed. The first slash, across the monkey's chest from top right to bottom left. The second slice, taming the momentum of his sword and slicing flat through the stomach area. The third slice, an upward flick that appeared to have been perfectly choreographed, cutting from bottom right to top left, trying to utilize the energy invested in the previous strike to assist the current strike. Each consecutive slice got faster and faster, with Tim learning more and more about the optimal way to use the dao of the wind to allow his sword slashes to synchronise with the wind, he was trying to reach a stage where if a log was thrown at him, it would be reduced to naught but wood shavings before it could even touch him.
One minute, hundred slashes. The creature had large lacerations across every single inch of it's body, it's hands covering it's face in an attempt to protect it's vitals. This mighty creature that would be a nightmare for any average level cultivator of a newly integrated planet looked so pitiful, like it could cry any moment.
Had Tim still thought from the mindset of a normal, pre-integration human, perhaps he wouldn't kill this creature. Now though, he was more aligned with the principles of the multiverse.
Having decided that it was in no position to resist any longer, he created some distance and imbued the aspect of speed into his sword. Finally using the rapier as it was intended, he lunged at the face of the monkey. At the last instant he used the aspect of sharpness, a move he now called 'shotgun' and the brain of the monkey exploded.
Warrior's resentment was formed out of the spine of a Diamond Backed Hedgehog, and it was technically not a rapier. Tim had just visualized what he believed a rapier to be, which was a thin, sharp, pointed blade that was extremely light weight, more out of the fantasy novels he had read than a medivial weapon, and it had worked out rather well for him.
It was an extremely thin weapon, starting off a bit girthier at the base representing the point where the hedgehog's spine connected with it's body, then rapidly tapering off into a very sharp tip, that Tim was able to use for piercing attacks with great efficiency. However, to use slashing attacks he needed a high level of accuracy, only slicing with the tip of the rapier, a feat he could have not accomplished without his high agility attribute points. This was the first time he'd actually put it into real life use, and boy had it worked.

Now some warnings; I am new to this, I don't have much experience so I'm trying to get some by writing this. So I don't stress myself out this will be a relatively short story but I don't know. Also this is sort of the beginning of my world, if this works out and I decide to write more I would love to keep it in this world. My grammar isn't perfect, if anything it's one of the things i struggle with. I don't have a release schedule, but I usualllt release as soon as i'm done with a chapter. Also I would really appreciate it if you can point out my mistakes, I can't learn if i don't know what i'm doing wrong.
