Basically, here is what Vinci had gathered about Earth.

It is now in its stage of year 2500, where technology has greatly advanced and the discovery of ancient ruins gave birth to the development of magic and lost martial arts. With this boost in prosperity along with the natural land shifts of the planet, the seven continents united as one under the new title “United World.” The lands merged together and in its place new countries emerged to replace old ones. They label themselves under the old term “Clans.”

There are 7 major clans: The United Sages Clan, The Rossia Clan, The Crimson Dragon Clan, The Rising Sun Clan, The Greymony Clan, The Golden Phoenix Clan, and Kingdom of Sand Clan.

Moreover, with the emergence of magic and ancient martial arts the world categorized its power and use through ranks. Vinci immediately recognized this and realized that the magic rankings were very similar to the ones he had seen before, though with a slight variation. They are classified and ranked as following:

Strangely, the people’s ranks are not decided solely based on magic. Instead, as Vinci found out, they were grouped based on their inner soul power, aka SP. The higher ones’ SP is, regardless of their battle specialty, the higher one’s ranking will end up at. The SPs are used to activate not only magic spells, but martial art techniques that would normally require something called “Qi.” In this way, Soul Power is a universal inner substance that acts as the median for various skills. Furthermore, the world was ruled by power. As the years aged by, the humans began to lean closer and closer towards the principle of the “strong ones survive and the weak ones die.” It was sphere where only the powerful can have success. But even so, education is still prevalent across the clans, with those in higher education recruited for their mental talent to assist with Earthian problems.

On this matter, many of Earth’s devastating problems were indeed solved over the past couple of hundred years. But, it only paved way for new ones to emerge. As of now, the planet is faced with issues regarding the environment, poverty, and magical beast attacks.

...Yes, you read that correctly. Magical beast attacks.

As mentioned before, due to the unlocking of ancient ruins many blessings came out of the tombs. But at the same time, it also unleashed many of the supernatural beings that were only told in stories long ago on Earth. The phenomenon was similar to that of the Pandora Box. And so, the monsters that came to be on Earth were coined Magical Beasts for their ferocity, mythical status, and immense strength. These monsters were no exception to the ranking system and are ranked accordingly to the Soul Power rankings. That is because these beasts are also receptors of Soul Power and are free to use it at their disposal like humans. That is what makes these beast so feared and different from normal ones.

“Aah~ This is such a drag...they even got a ranking system in...that means there must be powerful individuals on this sphere...which means I might have some trouble conquering this place for a while.”

Vinci grumbled as he began to walk towards the library exit.

He was finished learning everything there is to learn about this world. But that was still not enough for him to put his plan into action yet. As he stood at the mouth of the library, Vinci thought about all the things that needed to be done for him to fully fit into this sphere. And why does he need to fit in??

Simple.

And that is to gather even more Intel and hopefully increase his standing in this world. Because as Vinci deduced, the previous eras of people all bow down to those higher in power. Not simply to those with just brute strength, but those with high intelligence and charisma. Vinci decided to first increase his ranking in this world before deciding on how to conquer it. After all, once you’re up there everything becomes much more easier - as shown by history on Earth.

But first, the boy required a passport and various documents to show that he is a citizen of Earth. And since neither his parents are on Earth nor anyone he know for all he cares, he had to rely solely on himself.

“Alright...I guess I’ll go to the Government House to “validate” my existence here, huh.”

The boy grinned as he leisurely began to head towards his destination.
