Enough grinding

5 years have passed since then. The last 5 years have been a very repetitive routine so i won't get in to much details but here's the most important. Ester is now 15 years old and if you include her growth burst she look 18-20 years old now. Everything seem 'cough cough' very well formed...

I know i know ! She gets those clothes in the next episode... ^^

I find myself staring at her more and more recently. I wonder what's wrong with me, i don't have a body so hormones should not affect me. It may be because she only wear a few animal skins hiding her privates parts (That i see everyday during bath time anyway). Obviously her old clothes don't fit her anymore...

My researches are now finished, i even could do 'advanced' research in the nearby woods avoiding Ester's eyes. But i quickly abandoned the 'memory leaching' as it caused my personality to unwillingly change. As for lobotomy, the best result have been obtained by cutting away most of the connections to and from the prefrontal cortex, the anterior part of the frontal lobes of the brain.

Results: It causes them to behave in a machinelike way, as without vitality, emotion, or independent thought, the perfect bodies for me to take for myself. To avoid angering Ester to much i tasked Cellphone to beep me every-time she found someone 'worthy of punishments' in our vicinity.

That way, testing on slavers, murderer, rapist and the likes was making it very easy for me to argue with Ester on the benefits of using them. Of course most of them were ugly, buck toothed, grease faced, scar faced type of individuals which there's no way in 'paradise' i would want as MY body.

I don't trust Thorodan for choosing an 'attractive' man body for myself so i will be the one doing the choosing. With my researches i will be able to use my next body for as long as the body biology allows it... Elves would last 5-6 thousand years... But them being my followers could create complications...

None the less i can't bring myself to use a 80 years max human body, it seem like such a waste. There's magic but people dies from viruses by the thousands everywhere, so i need a strong 'superior body' !!!

Ester is now quite good at using magic. I don't know what's the level of the average mage in this world but i wouldn't be ashamed to present her as my student against anyone ! She got 'mana manipulation', and 'mana movement' in the bag so i recently started teaching her 'affinities'.

I know she have 'growth', and since i leached it from her i also have it so i could experiment with it a bit before teaching her. It can grow plants, trees... But much more than that still!! I used it on an egg and it immediately hatched... Then 'a lot of mana' later the chick was an adult!...

Quite the amazing affinity and i still discover more everyday. I am now convinced that Ester sudden growth burst was related to her affinity in some way. So today we are outside and she is growing all type of things, furniture, hedges, flower she likes etc... I don't like using the growth affinity because 'my' plants are creepy... What should be green is black and they all have needles and sharp edges that may be useful but are very inelegant.

So i am concentrating on creating all type of new attacks. My next mage fight will be very one sided i can tell you this.. The woman i stole the mana disturbing affinity from was one heck of a novice... Remember when i told you i hated affinities, that mages became to reliant on them and lazy ?

Well, with her ability 'I' create a hollowed sphere of disturbing magic, then create a mana shield inside of it. Soooo simple yet she didn't think of it ? Thinking about it, all her spells had only one 'attraction points' and that's it !

So her basic mana manipulation skills were mediocre thinking that my spells can use many thousand of 'repulsion' and 'attraction' points. Ester can use up to one hundred herself ! Yet that female mage was giving off air of 'i am powerful' even being this weak...This is making me think that this world magic may be very 'beginner level.'

It's a bit disappointing but it will make things easier in the future. I have spent the last 5 years slowly making all the elves the F.I.A. (Fairy Intelligence Agency) could find slowly migrate toward the place i selected as the foundation to my next empire.

It is an old sacred forest almost inaccessible if you don't have fairy friends to guide you there. The reason why is simple, ravines, mountains, cliffs, crevasses, glaciers and impenetrable giant forests surrounds it. And that's omitting the many guardians spirits living there killing every intruders.

The land in question form a very big peninsula on the most eastern point of the great continent. It is actually quite close to Ester and mine's birth place. We should be at no more than 10 days 'dragon's flight' away from there. But that is only if we choose to go over the Asden sea.

What surprised me the most if the fact that no one came to attack us... I was expecting retaliation from the 'dragon hunters', the kingdom for the obliterated village, or even people looking for the slave traders from long ago but nobody came close to the volcano we live at.

That still puzzle me a lot but i shrugged it away thinking that the slavers were maybe unimportant people, the village to small to be considered and the dragon hunters to ashamed of their defeat to talk about it... (Cellphone told me 5 survived)

For now... there's been something on my mind that i never really dared bring up but as i feel we should soon move from here to our new kingdom i finally feel it is time to ask him. And by him i mean Thorodan.

“Thorodan! I have had something on my mind for a while now...” (Michael)

{What is it?} (Thorodan)

“You have been a very precious companions for a while now and i was wondering.... If you would be interested in becoming my pet?” (Michael)

GRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrooooaaaaarrrrrrr* Annoyed growl*

{You insolent! You may be a God, and i may have helped you to release my boredom but i Thorodan bow to no one ! Roarr*} (Thorodan)

“Awww come on !! Is there anything you want ?” (Michael)

{A creature as powerful as me seek nothing you can offer.} (Thorodan)

“Hummm... There's other dragons as powerful as you in the north yes ?” (Michael)

{[...] What's your point ?} (Thorodan)

“Well if i share my mana with you, as you could see with Ester you would become a lot more powerful...” (Michael)

{I, Thorodan don't need to rely on someone else powers ! Roarr*} (Thorodan)

Sighhh*

“Then what about a title?? 'Death's God Divine Mouth The Great Celestial Dragon' ???” (Michael)

As i said that Thorodan's eyes opened as big as they could, he then said while tilting his head sideways.

{A ... Dragon God ?} (Thorodan)

“YhEAaa! Why the heck not ?!...And you'll call me master...” (Michael)

{Hrrmmm what difference would it be for me ?} (Thorodan)

“Heeeeeee....Ho yhea ! I would give you my blessing! Which is sharing my mana and having you mutate in a new evolved superior form !..... And you'll call me master...” (Michael)

'It's the same thing but he should prefer it being put that way...' (Michael)

{MMRRRRrrmmmmm This indeed may be tempting...} (Thorodan)

“Yheaaa! And you would totally be know by the entire world and go down history !!!..... And you'll call me master...” (Michael)

{How do i know you won't exploit me?! While not being yours so far you had me fly everywhere everyday.. Grrrrrrr*} (Thorodan)

“I'm not the type of person who break his toys ! Friends i mean... It would pretty much be the same. It's all about titles here... So you'll call me master...” (Michael)

{Sighhh* I accept your offer Arch-devil!} (Thorodan)

[...]

“Sorry who?” (Michael)

ROOOOraaaaaaarrrrrr*

[...]

“You said?” (Michael)

{Sighhh* I already regret this decision... I accept your offer............. Master.} (Thorodan)

Hearing that gave me a warm feeling all over my nonexistent body.

“So... i give you my blessing now? That mean lowering your spirit and allowing me connection to your mana pool...” (Michael)

I was really doubtful he would accept since i could suck him dry if i wanted to after being connected. Well he may be powerful enough to forcefully break connection but i don't intend to test it... Anyway i was expecting his answer but still needed to ask since he had accepted the 'deal'...

{Sure} (Thorodan)

[...]

“That easy?” (Michael)

{Don't underestimate me Arch-devil! I have lived long enough to know that i am more useful to you alive than dead.} (Thorodan)

“.... Who?” (Michael)

Rooooooooooooooaaaaaarrrrrr*

{MASTER DAMMIT !} (Thorodan)

“...Just checkin'... Is it ok if i take a little bit of your mana? I probably don't need it but the fire affinity may come handy one day...” (Michael)

{Hurmmmm I have no objections, thought you should know fire is not my unique affinity.} (Thorodan)

“Hooo! And what other affinity may you have?” (Michael)

{Just one more, 'Void room' a dimensional affinity.} (Thorodan)

“Ho! I know this! Is it a private room you can store a lot of stuff in?? Like a portable room?” (Michael)

{As always you are well informed.......... Master} (Thorodan)

“Good good ! I do have something to store ! I have gold hidden in the forest... (Thorodan brought it back after 'cleaning the village') I had to keep it hidden from Ester at all cost... Other than that i only have what i'm wearing..... Hummmm I guess when i find a body this will come in handy even more. Ok Let me connect to your mana pool Thorodan!” (Michael)

He nodded to that so i proceeded in making connection. I met a very strong resistance from his spirit even if he was voluntarily suppressing it... What an incredibly powerful creature. I leached a bit of his mana then filled his mana pool back up immediately afterward. I repeated this around 50 time as i was unsure how much mana i needed to give him to start mutating like Ester had...

I thought of doing the same with Cellphone but was afraid that her mutating would corrupt her harmonious link to the other fairies and also her being more powerful shouldn't be necessary anyway... Now i will keep an eye on Thorodan to see if his mutation happen without problems as i remember Ester sleeping a lot during it happening.

Now pretty much everything is ready for the big move. The day i officially announce my coming to this world is nearing. Those who resist me will have what's coming to them. This will be the beginning of a new era!!!

I then slowly approach Ester who was now growing a bed with her 'growth' ability. Without saying a word i suddenly launch a mana stone ball at her to which she didn't even flinch. She formed a mana shield that shattered the stone ball without even looking in my direction.

She was still humming while jumping everywhere seemingly absorbed in her work. I then formed a new mana stone ball but this time a lot harder, then surrounded it in fire before launching it at full speed.

This time i caught her attention, she formed a tree barricade with a mana shield behind it. The trees got shattered and caught on fire then the stone hit her mana shield warping it a bit but still stopped the stone.

“HEYyy!!! You trying to kill me for real ????” (Ester)

“Huhuhuhu you still got a long way to go! Now's not the time to slack off on training! If you can't defend yourself against this much then i won't recognize you as my student.” (Michael)

To that she gave me a giant pouting expression. It's important not to praise them too much or they become complaisant and stop progressing. I wont let her fall in the 'affinities' trap!!!! From now on i will always attack her with fire. She'll see how useless her affinity is. Wood can't compete against fire...

But that doesn't mean i want her to hate me so i walk up to her then give her a hug.

“I'm proud of you. But don't slack off !” (Michael)

I then walked away as she was blushing up to her ears.

“YyyYyOu will s ss see!! I will be the strongest mage in the world after you!!!!!” (Ester) She said before quickly going back to training her 'mana manipulation' and leaving the plants aside.

'Huhuhuhu objective accomplished.' (Michael)

{Cellphone!} (Michael)

{Yes !!!?} (Cellphone)

{Tell all the elves you can contact the location we have chosen and that i am leaving to this destination myself in a few days. Also tell your fairy friends to escort them until there. Their time of being persecuted is over. Guhuhuhuhu*} (Michael)

{Aye !!! hihihihi Time to move the masses !!!} (Cellphone) She said while flying around at high speed.
