《STAR WARS: THE TRANSMIGRATOR》CHAPTER 6

Sunlight passed through the leaves of the trees of Yavin 4, the few remaining native species on the planet were all savage, any sign of civilization was ancestral, dating from millennia ago.
Near a clearing, HWK-310 was parked. E-3PO and R2-D3 were conducting a check of the ship's condition, looking for anything that might require repairs, Master Shaak Ti was still inside the ship taking care of some details before they could leave to explore the region.
Garrod was currently facing a tree, his body as static as stone. If anyone looked at this scene, they might think that he was meditating or deep in his thoughts.
However, his mind at that time was running at the speed of light. Since his conversation with Revan and his Master, he has been thinking about what the force is for him before he only saw it as a tool to achieve his goals, like any weapon or apparatus.
But now he was trying to view it from another point of view, it is not uncommon to hear Jedi masters saying that the force is alive and is present in everything and everyone. But for him who lived in a world where this concept was not present, it was very difficult to adapt to this mystical and spiritual way of thinking, what he wanted was to be able to feel the force within him and in nature, to feel how life communicated with that energy.
"The force is all things and I am the force..." sucking in a breath of air, he concentrated his mind on the environment around him, closing his eyes his perception of the world changed completely, everything was darkness, but slowly he was able to 'see', it was as if everything within a radius of 10 meters around him was visible at the same time, although only the outline was distinguishable, he could somehow feel the world around him through force.
This reminded him of a Naruto clan, the Hyugas must have a similar experience when using that ocular power, probably the main difference is that he does not have blind spots in this form, after all his perception was not based on his senses but the force only.
Slowly he expanded the range of his vision, up to a limit of 25 meters, above that distance, he needed to exert an absurd effort which was very tiring for his current level of strength.
But that didn't stop him from smiling, he was finally getting in the way of understanding the force for real, and the feeling was definitely unique.

He was about to test something else but was interrupted by the arrival of his Master.
"Garrod take it!" she threw a small device at him, it looked like a Gameboy, but it had a type of digital compass with three markings on it, one being what he believed to be the ship, the other being the goal and the last being one that pointed north.
"You must have already noticed how to use this device right? Just remember, the blue dot is the ship and the red dot is our goal. Let's go, it should take an hour to get there if we walk. Now that I think about it, have you learned how to use force to accelerate your body and perform acrobatics? "
"Yes, master!" Garrod nodded with a smile.
"Very well, follow me closely then!"
That said, they set off at high speed, using the force and his new perception of the world, Garrod closed his eyes and followed his master while perfectly avoiding any obstacle in his path.
Trees and rocks were often used as stepping stones to boost his speed even more. On the way, what impressed Garrod the most was the naturalness in his master movements, he believed that even without the force it was possible that almost nobody could compare with his master in terms of agility and flexibility, even Ezio Auditore the character from a series of games he liked in his past life would be embarrassed to compare himself to her...
After a while, they approached ruins that reminded Garrod of the Maya. If this weren't an alien planet he could have sworn he was back on Earth.
Taking the device that his master gave him, he could infer that the ruins were where they needed to enter.
He was about to continue when his master extended her arm and stopped him.
She then proceeded to throw a small stone forward. When the stone hit the ground, a rudimentary trap made of wood and thorns was activated, reaching only the wind.
Seeing the scene, he couldn't help but gulp.
"Always analyze your surroundings, my padawan. Sometimes things are not as they seem."
Rising, she motioned for him to follow her.
They crossed a field full of traps, all made of natural materials, Garrod could only imagine that this was left by the original inhabitants of the ruins, anyway, they did a good job if they were not Jedi... They would've probably died by now.
Inside the ruins, his master closed her eyes and sat on the floor, Garrod didn't know what she was doing, but he had a hunch.

Realizing that this was going to take a while, he decided to check the surrounding area.
The place was filled up to the ceiling with dust, and except for the furniture made of rocks, the rest had already deteriorated to the point of not being recognizable, seeing the empty and monotonous place he couldn't help but sigh.
Unfortunately, all the knowledge he could use was those in his memory, it is a pity that he does not have access to wikis and fandom from star wars, in that case, it would be much easier to know several events and other details that would greatly assist him during his journey.
As he walked he had a great idea! 'Didn't the system say that I could use my credits to buy various things at the store? Can I use this to buy Mandalorian iron armor? Let me see...'
Opening the system, he activated the store and started looking for what he wanted, it didn't take long to find what he was looking for, luckily the items in the store had a description so that he knew what he was buying. Unfortunately, the armor had some obvious weaknesses, like the lack of protection in the neck and joints ...
'Can I buy the instructions and methods for producing nanotechnology? If that is possible, considering my current level of knowledge with mechanics, quantum physics and other subjects such as metallurgy, etc. I should be able to use it perfectly as long as I have the money to buy the materials needed to work with it ... '
Once again looking around the store, he smiled when he found exactly what he expected, but the price made him frown ...
'3 million credits just for instructions and production methods... Counting on the necessary materials to handle this... 10 million... Motherfucker this is practically daylight robbery!' Sighing he put the items on his wish list so that he could search for them later without difficulty, but still, he was a little discouraged by the price he will have to pay to create his version of the Iron Man armor at its best Mandalore style.
While he was lost in thoughts, Shaak Ti opened her eyes and smiled, her efforts were successful, she managed to identify an area in the vicinity with traces of energy of the dark side of the force.
Getting up she walked over to where Garrod was and said.
"Come on, I think I found something."
Garrod nodded and followed.
After walking down some stairs he didn't find before, they ended up in some sort of gallery underneath the earth, as they kept going forward, Garrod had an ominous feeling, he felt like something or someone was spying on him.
His master, on the contrary, was frowning the deeper they went inside this place, the more powerful it became the dark side of the force the more it affected her power, turning to glance at her padawan, she saw he was worried but didn't seem too affected, this was probably due to his connection to the dark side.
Eventually, they arrived at what seemed to be a ceremonial room with a golden vessel filled with dark red blood on it, torches were lit on the wall and they had a red glow to them instead of the normal color.
A few pillars erected at the sides had ancient Sith runes carved on them, and at the end of the room, it was possible to see a red glowing Holocron floating above a pile of corpses.
Suddenly a feeling of oppression took over them.
The shadows took a physical shape and roared at them.
Soon one of the largest shadows approached with some sort of shadow sword and tried to hit his master, who easily parried the attack.
"Prepare to fight!"
Nodding Garrod equipped his lightsaber and using Form 1 he started to attack the shadows closest to him.
The shadows were extremely weak and could be defeated with a single attack, however, they seemed to be endless, every time they defeated one two others appeared.
Seeing that they were being overwhelmed with enemies Garrod used the force to push his enemies far away from him and ran to the golden vessel.
"Master, follow me, I have a plan!"
She nodded and after pushing away her enemies she ran after him.
Arriving at the place closest to the vessel he sat down and closed his eyes, soon a force shield appeared covering everything between him and the pillars, making it so that the shadows couldn't get to them.
"This is..."
"It's the force shield, I learned while training at the temple, It can only last for an hour in my current state..."
"It should suffice, remember to warn me when you can't endure anymore, I'll see if I can find what is summoning those shadows."

The Supernormal
In a world where fantasy has become everyday, one man stands against absurdity. The local Tower stomps through the streets. Any hedge could contain a witch. Walls regularly crumble, though none more often than the fourth. In the magical city of Blackpool, all ridiculousness is possible, and it takes everything for Jack Of All Trades to survive. Badly, at that. Perpetually late with his rent, he'll take up arms for any paying customer in order to fulfill his quest. His obstacles include polka-loving ghosts, card-game playing vampires, and the most vicious monsters of all: copyright lawyers. When he's joined by an arrogant magus and an insecure vampire, his life gets even more complicated, but no matter what kind of infuriating choose-your-own-adventure he finds himself on, one constant remains—his rent is due at the end of the month. On second thoughts, maybe he should stay in bed. The Supernormal isn't your average web-novel. It's an urban fantasy parody that saunters through a world full of the absurd, delighting in poking fun at popular media, widely-accepted ideas, and often itself. Story arcs only loosely connect through the characters, who are themselves slowly fleshed out as the story continues. Think of Discworld meets The Dresden Files meets Gintama. This novel won't be for everyone, but if it is for you, you're in for a hell of a ride.
