《Blood Born》Chapter Twenty-One: Confussion

Hello! I'm sorry that the other two chapters promised did not get released last night. I lost power due to a storm that hit my area. I have also been forced to rewrite this multiple times, because like a moron I restarted the computer the second I could, got half way done, and forgot to save the draft! -face palm-
Anyway! Here is your promised chapter. I hope you all enjoy it. As always, please, comment, Rate, Follow. ^.^
The Blood Father
My Ten had returned. Ogre was currently informing me of what they had witnessed. The battles beginning to end. I frowned a moment upon hearing how it ended, and the five thousand or so soldiers that had been released. No doubt some fool that currently held Rage' leash had ordered it done.
Sadly, even those fools were stronger than Rage at this time. Whether through martial prowess, or mental might; the whelp had a lot to learn.
The succubus beside me was more impressed. Myra couldn't understand how a mere twenty-nine Berserkers had turned the tide of such a hopeless battle. That amused me to no end, seeing her skin pale. She would experience it first hand in the years to come. Her and Damocles. They would shatter the treaty when there forces were stronger once again.
I smiled slowly as I listened to Ogre spout out more details, and contemplated how HE would enjoy seeing his hard work crushed by a mere cub in power and age when compared to HIM, or myself. It was enough to make me laugh, almost.
By my calculations, another fifteen years would be spent with Rage fighting on that battle front, at least. Then Lord Dravon will grow bored, or another faction will rise to assault the Draconians that required by offspring to rush to another battle front. Of course, I knew that all things went how they would, I simply thought up contingencies for all foreseeable changes that I believed could happen this early.
HE would not make a move early, because HE was like me. Bored, and it would likely peak HIS interest if word of my offspring reached that far into the abyss. I would end HIM for good this time, there would be no return when Rage was let loose. Win or Lose, he would be weakened enough from my little bomb that I could finally Finish HIM!
Patience, I cautioned myself slowly. It would still take decades to reach that point. Ogre and the others finished there report, and were dismissed. From there, I read the letter I had received from my 'master' he wanted to give a present to the whelp. I frowned at that. I could not truly deny it, because of the contract, and he had earned something from succeeding in the pathetic little battle. But to be ordered to give him a number of normal Prideling Soldiers, was a bit much.
No Berserker would follow another. There Pride structure flowed in constant change within themselves. One or two being added as needed, as such I could not send an adult Pride to be under his command. The normal warriors of my people however, would integrate well. Assuming my whelp did not slaughter them for not being like him. Forced to grow in a pit of dirt.
Shrugging it aside, not truly caring, I began making preparations to fulfill the 'Masters' orders. It would be amusing to hear what happens when they arrive.
Rage
When I woke up, I froze a moment. I felt another, soft bouncy like object, pressed into my right arm. Not again...I turned my head over, and sighed as I saw what was expected. Envy, she had managed to sneak into my room, somehow not waking me, and currently had my arm pressed between her ample bosom. The creamy mounds spilling over, the tips each slightly hard from her breathing, and the friction caused as they moved along my bicep.

I was, for lack of a better term, at a loss. She was in my personal space, latched onto me, and disobeying an order to not touch me. Yet I had no desire to rip her head off, and bath in her blood before devouring her soft, juicy, flesh. Instead, I was contemplating what it would be like to pin her beneath me, forcing her face into the ground as I took her from behind, doing all I could to make her assets bounce.
Before that train of thought could continue and confuse me further, I heard a small mew, and pressure in my ribs. I looked toward the cause and saw Saphiria looking at me with her little cheeks puffed out and poking me hard. What? I raised an eyebrow at my pet and she huffed slightly before crawling onto my stomach. I was curious, she then proceeded to shake Envy' shoulder to wake her.
Bad idea, I saw her body still a moment, then I snatched the back of my Pets leather top and threw her to the ground behind me, while latching onto Envy' throat with my teeth, applying enough force that my fangs sank half an inch into her flesh. I growled as I saw clawed hands, set to pierce, exactly where my Pets head had been.
Envy froze a moment, her eyes clearing a bit, or so I assumed. I was currently only able to see the curve of her neck and jaw. She swallowed, pumping some blood into my mouth, I bit down a little harder.
When her body went limp, giving up, I removed my fangs from her throat slowly. She fell to the side, onto the bed, a small smile upon her lips as she traced the holes my fangs had caused carefully. Why smile? I had almost killed her. I ignored it, looking down at her; my eyes cold and uncaring.
"Mine, you do not harm what is mine" I saw her nod, turning around I looked at Saphiria on the ground rubbing the back of her head. I'd thrown her into the wall. Small little tears were forming at the edge of her eyes but she wasn't allowing them to fall.
"So..Mast.." I heard her mumble. I hated mumbling. I moved over to her, looking for severe injuries that would make it hard for her to heal quickly. She was fine, bruised and nothing more.
"Never wake one of us like that" I told her, my hand around her neck while I squeezed a little. She chocked some before nodding. I patted her head, telling her she was a good girl for understanding. Picking her up, and placing her on my right shoulder, her small, slender frame, fitting perfectly there; I heard a soft growl as Envy came up behind me and looked at Saphiria.
On impulse I put my free hand on her head, and rubbed it. Telling her she was a good girl too. My ear was pinched, and Envy looked like a cat that had eaten cream. What the hell is wrong with these two? I began growling the pressure on my ear going away.
Leaving my room, I stopped once again. Hate, and Bitter were outside. Oh no...Each were growling. It was a challenge, why didn't I rip them to pieces? Simple, they were all the keys to understanding what was happening to me. So, I patted there heads as well. There hair was soft, almost like silk. Hate smirked, and Bitter froze before her face lit up a very bright red.

"Why do you look like a tomato?" I asked her, honestly curious. I didn't understand why her face turned red. I wanted to know if she was still able to fight. I saw tears form under her eyes and she left without answering. Hate looked after her, then to me in...is that pity? So that's what it looks like. Then she left to follow, Envy moving behind; a small skip in her step.
"Master doesn't understand, do you?" I heard a soft whisper by my ear. It tickled. I shrugged my free shoulder and nodded. I heard my pet giggle, and take some of my hair into her her hands. I felt small tugging.
"What are you doing?" she told me she was braiding my hair. "Braiding?" I asked her calmly.
"You'll see. My mommy..." I heard her breath hitch a moment, she was fighting the weakness that was tears while she kept braiding my hair.
"What is a mommy?" I asked instead, ignoring the land mine.
A small sniffle came out, and she answered haltingly while she fought the tears back. "A mommy *sniffle*..You don't...have a mommy?"
I was confused, and told her I had never heard of such a term. Her sniffles stopped a moment, then I felt tiny little arms circle my head and tears hit my scalp. I just started walking down the hallway to a room that smelled like Fredrick.
I was being stared at however. What the cats had termed 'silver haired, black monster' was currently walking toward there Lords study, with a weeping child on his shoulders. Her head was pressed into his...half braided hair, and her arms were wrapped around his head. Blocking the view from one eye.
I saw most of the little cats stop and stare in wonder. I glared at them, and they rushed away. Snorting, I reached Fredricks study.
I heard grunts, and what sounded like someone in pain. I opened the door in a rush and was met with an ear piercing scream and a sight that I wish I would forget.
Fredrick had a whip, and Hellen was tied between two posts in the study. I had heard a begging sob for more as I entered. Both were nude, that wasn't a problem. But for some reason I felt I saw what should never be seen. Confused, I ignored it.
"Are you well Master? Has your wife displeased you?" I asked calmly. My Pet had stopped crying at this point and was trying very hard to not stare.
I was dismissed while Hellen was still screaming to kick me out. I left, more confused than when I entered. I asked my Pet about it. She was more intrigued than confused. I felt her slowly calm down from earlier, and she started to braid my hair again.
We made a rather interesting sight as we left to check on the walls.
Reaching the third wall, I ignored the snicker of Forge, and the grunt that symbolized anvil laughing as I asked how the progress for the walls was going.
"Another *snort* two days to clear the ground in the town below." Forge said, fighting something. "The third wall has been re-done with the metal from the Coalition forces. I have a third of the second wall finished. Anvil...An...*pffft*"
He started to laugh, I looked at Anvil who was just smiling at me. I did not know that Saphiria had braided a heart in my silver hair. So I waited until Forge could breath.
It took an hours. When he finished, he continued. Still fighting to not laugh at me. I placed my claws against his chest at that point, and he became serious. "The first wall has been increased in height, and is a third of the way turned to stone. There are also reports from Cruelty that Cat Beastmen are coming from the path we took to arrive. It seems they are returning home, Rage." I removed my hand from him and nodded lightly.
Numbers, there would be no evacuation next time. Leaving them, I went to Curse who was with the cat people training, a few underlings, around eight, were with him helping. They held the fire essence so it was fine.
I asked how the training was going. Curse, studiously ignored my hair, and shoulder; instead staring into my eyes. "It will take time" was all he said.
I went to each of the remaining eight of my Pride. They all had varying expressions. Bitter, Hate, and Envy seemed to have a green tinge in there eyes, it was rather odd. Cruelty looked at my Pet like she wanted a new toy. I growled at her, and bared my fangs while saying Saphiria was mine. Hydra, looked smug. I didn't pursue that much, he couldn't harm me. He was to weak.
All, in all, today was confusing for me. Between my wake up, the odd looks everyone was giving me, and Saphiria refusing to leave my shoulders during the walk as she braided my hair further.
I continued to go around Tridant, looking for more ways to increase it's defensive potential, and how to take advantage of the landscape surrounding it.
When the sun finally began to set, I walked back to my room. I was currently being followed by three women who had a determined look in there eyes. It was disturbing me for some reason.
When we reached my room, I asked them what they were doing. "Sleeping" each on said in unison, before laying in my bed. I set Saphiria down slowly on the edge of the bed. Her cheeks were puffed out again.
"I don't wan.." I was stopped when they just turned to each other and passed out...I was beginning to hate women immensely. Sighing, defeated, I lay down and tried to sleep. Not surprised when I felt my body being encircled in arms I just sighed again, and tried very hard to ignore the soft bits touching me, and the mew that was on my other side.
When sleep finally took me, I had decided they would need to die. This was beginning to grow troublesome.
Here you are people! Again, sorry for the late release. i plan to keep writing throughout the day and night however. So don't be shocked if several chapters are released.
Much love, and cookies. As always, please...Comment, rate, Follow. ^.^

Interface
Welcome to the World-City of Thousel, the sixth iteration of life on the planet. These are the recordings of the people of Thousel. Thousel is believed to be the second longest iteration of life, and the overall most prosperous compared to what we know about the past five iterations. Medicine and technology have all progressed abundantly, and the world itself has been turned into one great city, governed and managed by the Governmental-Company Alliance, or the GCA.These particular recordings concern the discovery of a peculiar machine. When two very different people find themselves bound by the fate of one mysterious bot, life in the World-City begins to change… Interface is a cyberpunk webnovel set in an ecumenopolis world where people evolved with electro-sensory abilities. These senses shape the face of modern technology and life in a world where the three largest corporations run what has effectively become the government. Each of these three companies control various aspects of life in the city, and they all constantly vie for domain and power over one another. The world stands at the precipice of biological, technological, and historical breakthrough. After decades of study into microbiology, archaeology, and geology, it has been discovered that sentient life has lived on the planet multiple times over. These past peoples are referred to as the “prior iterations of life,” and it is believed that five great civilizations were constructed before the rise of the modern world. No one can be sure for certain what caused these peoples’ extinction long ago, and the theories range from simply dying off over time to massive tectonic fractures in the face of the planet. Advanced technology, far more complicated than anything the people possess today, has been uncovered in multiple locations. This has lead scholars to speculate on exactly how long each iteration of life survived and how far they progressed as a society. None of the companies have been able to find a way to make this ancient technology work for their own profit. It is as though they are each missing the final key needed to unlock these centuries old secrets. What could this knowledge reveal about the nature of life across every iteration? What power could it give to the one who wields it?Far from the investigation into the origin of life, two kids unlock a new mystery – one that ties their fates to the discovery of an old, mysterious robot. Suddenly, eyes begin to turn towards them as life in the city of Thousel changes wherever they go…
