《Prophesy of the Elven King》Ch. 28 I've Got Class?

Okay, I have to admit there are few things I love in life more than open world video games. Living in a world that almost a game is pretty "gawd damn awesome!!!" Spending the rest of the day slaughtering zombies and going home to sleep like a baby. I passed out that night on the mat that was my bed. Emma was all like "Awe! Look 's like he tuckered himself out real good" in a southern earth accent. She said that while the neighbors were walking by our tent. I didn't have the energy to care anymore, so I passed out.
As I slept, I dreamed of events long passed. I thrashed in my sleep because I didn't want to recall what I was seeing. Growing up I had high aspirations, and even though I had a learning disability(A.D.D), I still achieved a high level of education. As a result of my unique brain chemistry, I had a different view of the world than other people. This allowed me to be very creative and think of things many others had not once I learned to control it. As a result of the mental exercises designed to help me grasp control over my mind, I often I would seem overly analytical, but It turned my greatest weakness into a strength. What had destroyed me in my past life was my own beliefs.
I had genuinely believed that all people were good and worth saving. As you can see from what I did to that "Slaver," I don't anymore! It wasn't just what personally happened to me that broke most of my spirit I had seen the evil that existed in humankind. When I created my Green Homes charity, I appointed a secretary in charge of managing it for me. She had been super overqualified and genuinely cared about the people we were helping. She was the one I had seen raped in my last life. The man had killed her seeing-eye dog and then sexually assaulted her. That's right she was blind! Then the man walked free after the cops detained him because she couldn't bring herself to file charges after the cops slut-shamed her. I once heard a political activist say that sexism isn't real anymore, but they're wrong! It may no longer exist in a legal sense, but it does in a social. A woman who isn't what everyone else wants them to be is considered by society as either a bitch or a slut. I looked into the eyes of that monster and saw only darkness devoid of any remorse. He smiled at me as he left and I knew it wasn't the first time he'd raped someone helpless. I tried everything to get him to put away for his crimes, but nothing stuck, even my money made no difference. I couldn't believe anymore that it was a part of some greater design after what happened. I had finally run into a horrible problem in my life that I truly couldn't fix. My secretary ended up taking her own life and do you know who I blamed? Yes, some blame I gave to the bastard who defiled her but most I put on myself.

All my other morals remained the same, but after that, I felt "rotten apples have to be removed, or else it spoils all the others." It was after I saved Trevor that I realized that I could save the innocent and make sure that their lives become better. Those that don't want to be saved or are too far gone aren't worth the effort! It's like they say "God helps those who help themselves." Meaning if you don't want to be a part of a better world then I don't have the time to waste on you. I held Trevor in my arm, and I saw myself in him. Growing up I had my father, and I had money, but this child had nothing. I wouldn't let his life be ruined by statistics! That's when I decided to devote some of my life to raise him and what a life it had been.
***
I suddenly sprung up awake and covered in a cold sweat! Why had I seen everything I didn't want to remember? Didn't I normally have control of my dreams? Emma was still asleep but was thrashing herself obviously experiencing the same thing. Wondering what the cause was, I checked my status. I was greeted with several prompts that drew my interest.
All requirements met for secret class "True Elemental".
As user already has all related abilities, True Elemental class has been obtained automatically.
Level 100 exceeded and 100 selection points available!
You can now choose a class from the following!
Soul mage
Mage
Sorcerer
Wizard
Duelist
Barbarian Axeman
Blacksmith
Augmenter
Magus of Calamity
As I read the prompts before me, I realized that the dreams had something to do with Class generation. A test perhaps? Regardless it didn't matter in the end because I came out on top. A free class because I already had all its related abilities. The good news was that "True Elemental Class" boosted efficiency and power of all natural elements by 20%. That would come in handy and cost me nothing, but now I had to pick another class!

Mage, Soul Mage, and Wizard only increased the power of spells. Meaning for me they would be useless right now even though soul magic sounded pretty cool to me, but I didn't even know what that entailed much less where to get such rare spells. Duelist would help with wielding my ax's, but I'm more looking forward to enhancing my ax wielding by using my magic instead. Sorcerer allowed one to channel elements through their bodies similar to my magic but was way weaker and way less efficient. To create stronger magic casting for the sorcerer class it requires creating mana channels in one's body that match spell patterns for higher level spells. This limits the overall number of elements a person can cast and is very dangerous as any touching patterns would detonate! Barbarian Axeman was just different power strikes, and I have Grillo for blacksmithing. Heck, someone doesn't even need the blacksmithing class to Smith anyway. The last two However was something else entirely!
Augmenter was a class that improved working with all kinds of crafting and enchanting. It improved everything from blacksmithing to rune engraving. It gave a huge bonus of 50% to material enhancements and enchanting of all kinds. It also seemed to infer that once learned it would help mana saturate other materials. I wanted it soo bad! I impatiently began reading Magus of Calamity, and once again I was shaken to the core! Magus of Calamity gave an automatic bonus to all destructive magic of any kind. It increased destructive power by 50% and gave a natural spell penetration to resistant enemies. This included my true elemental magic, spells, or even runes in rare cases. I was greatly torn between the two choices. In the ended, however, I ended up choosing Magus of Calamity. I needed the spell power boost, and I could pick Augmenter when I get another class slot at level 300. Class slots are always earned after adding double the level number of the first class. So level 100 plus 200 levels to get my next class. Then at level 700, I could get my fourth. It shouldn't be too long before I reach level 300 anyway.
I saw Emma waking up and being certain she obtained a secret class as well I couldn't wait to ask what her class would be!

Trickster's Luck (Fantasy LitRPG)
Not all luck is good luck. Maya found herself at a character creation screen. Who was she before this? Why was she creating a character? What was the game? No idea. But she had nothing better to do and no reason not to play along. And when given the option for a rare luck-based starting class, how could she turn it down? It was rare and special! That must make it good. Right? Character-focused, low-stakes, post-death upload. Hard system: if the stats say she loses a fight, she'll lose the fight. Randomized outcomes: I roll dice behind the scenes regularly, so events flow according to the whims of chance. Nothing is set in stone. There is an overarching plot, but how the details play out and what path we take to get there is up to fate.
