《Prophesy of the Elven King》Ch. 13 Emerald

Nine months had passed since the birth of Luna's child. I awoke before sun up as I usually did nowadays. It was my only chance to save myself. I couldn't go out the front door, or I would inevitably get caught. So I lifted the back of my tent and rolled under it. Then I booked it as fast as I could.
I was running downhill, but I heard the sound of pursuit. It was gaining fast, so much for my increased speed. I found out that stats could also be increased through use. Endurance and agility could be raised by running and strength by lifting. My agility had raised by 6 points, but it made little difference.
The beast was gaining on me, and nothing I did seemed to help. I zigged, and I zagged, I even used magic to create obstacles. Nothing I did would deter the green beast! Then I felt the grasp of its claws as she wrapped her arms around me. It was over; the she-beast had me. I turned to her and said, "Emma Pwease let me go!"
She had a thinking look on her face as if she would consider it, but I knew she wouldn't. "Uh-uh," was her reply that meant no. She held me the way a little girl carried a teddy bear. My parents thought it was adorable. My mother jested that it was good she was strong as I had been sickly since birth. She felt that I needed a strong woman to protect me. Damn Goblin genes made her develop faster than usual!
She was already the size of a five or six-year-old girl, and her stats were no joke. When I had first seen them, I thought it was a good thing. She had a trait called [Selfless Hero] I chuckled and told myself "hey look it's the protagonist" while imagining me fist bumping Deadpool. The reality, however, is cruel and it seems I cannot escape my fate.

It's not fair, I thought. Emma's stats were even higher than yesterday. She hasn't even leveled up once, and her stats are almost all higher than mine. Dragon's blood and Goblin's development(GD) explained Emma's fast growth. Aside from growing up faster, GD helps her gain stats faster, and Dragons blood gave her initially high stats as well as some vague and unexplained effects.
Dragons Blood
You are descended from dragons! As such all stats get a major boost. Awakening some or all powers possessed by dragons is possible. Dragon's will recognize you as kin.
Her Beast's instincts just gave her better senses, and she had the whole Elven series as I called them. The other two were problematic though. When I tried to analyze the red string of fate I got a severe headache and caused almost all my muscles to spasm simultaneously. It was a backlash! I had been warned about it, but I had never thought a trait could be powerful enough itself to cause it. I also couldn't read Selfless heroes description, but it didn't bite me when I tried.
I have to admit that the irony that I created the body that was now tormenting me was not lost on me. Apparently, Karma is a real thing, and my life would never be peaceful. Well, not that I would say it was before. Maybe Karma goes retroactively through time too, I asked myself. As soon as she could walk Emma was attached to me as if her life depended on it. There was a period of time my parents would let her sleep over but eventually I convinced them that it was inappropriate. I once caught her watching me sleep!

When she was borne, everyone was wowed by her beautiful green skin. Unlike goblins that have disgusting slimy and a sludgy green colored skin, Emma's skin was glittery and a gorgeous emerald color. Her mother named her Emma because her last name is Rald. She named her daughter who had emerald colored skin Emma Rald. I told her "You stink at naming,' but she was undeterred by my accusations.
Emma proceeded to carry me around the village all day. I called out to any gods that may be listening, but I was greeted with a most disappointing prompt.
All Gods watching are laughing at your current predicament!
Goddess of love says, "Isn't young love wonderful!"
I found out the hard way that gods are jerks. It's as they say "When it rains, it pours."

Blue Screen Blues
When Ryan Glasser, (an emo kid by heart) kills himself after having a good day at school turn horribly bad, he is forced to stand before his maker for final judgment of his soul. With Ryan Thinking life was just a game he could just end and throw away without any consequences, he is offered a deal to live his next life in a real-life RPG world full of swords, magic, misery, memes, and Mondays with nothing to help him along the way but a magical cellphone full of his music to get by in his afterlife. A real-life RPG you say? That sounds like perfect place to spend eternity! What’s the catch? Well first of all, this “Server” is in a nightmarish beta stage that has two trapped goddesses engaged in an everlasting brutal holy war between each other that has recently turned into a stalemate. Ryan is supposed to kill one of these goddesses somehow. (Technically there is a third goddess, but no one really cares about her) Secondly Ryan can’t die in this world without completing his mission here. If he does, straight to hell he goes. Thirdly, right from the start of spawning into this world, he has an annoying clingy emo/scene cat-dog rogue girl fall in love with him. This would be great in all If Ryan didn’t hate furries. Ryan will realize no matter how hard he tries he just can’t lose this clingy disaster. Forth: Living in an RPG world is great and exhilarating but when the class you choose to roll seems to be just as emo as you are, interesting things are going to happen. You better hold on tight; destiny holds in store for Ryan a Twisted Romance, tons of betrayal, a life full of dark twists and turns, and an adventure that will make or break him in this strange new world. Welcome to Lectioterra Adventurer! (Please DO NOT buff the Raid boss) (Please note i am quite aware that book one was written with quite a few thousand errors. I took a break from writing for ten years and had to relearn a lot of things. I learned quite a lot from writing 100+ chapters so far. I will go back and edit book one’s chapters after I get book two finished. If you all want to point out the errors in the earlier chapters I will gladly edit those things ASAP)
