O and before we begin in a few private messages and a few comments, people were complaining or saying how Laura didnt notice the sword giving her a double affinity. The short answer is she didnt get a dual affinity from the sword. the long one is in the frequently asked question’s up above

~Sword PoV~

When Master Vayne woke up, she seemed to be in a hurry.I think today is the day shes going to try to get into a academy.After getting on her cloths she grab a fancy belt that had some weird chains hanging down on one side. Since It seemed like she was coming over to me i teleported into her hand.

Unknowingly that belt was meant for me. It was a nice belt but on a rating scale for looks it would be a ⅗ from me. But i guess caring me around all day sorta takes up a hand and since it fits the color pattern on me ill deal with it. Also Master Vayne does look extremely cool with it on.

Heading down stairs i notice a few of the people who tried to assault master last night. I activated a little bit of my aura to make sure they didn't try anything.(author note: im just going back to him calling her Owner a lot easier that way.)Owner had a look of confusion but She didnt seem to mind the people looking at her in fear.

Owner said her goodbyes to the person behind the desk and left. Instead of going straight to the school district she went to the town center. There she met a beautifully blonde haired elf. They talked for a bit and the elf keep staring at me. Then Owner notice she forgot to activate [cloaking aura](remember he put that on auto activate whenever Laura says the skill name, If he wants to for her he needs to do manual and changing “settings” takes more effort.)

Owner cursed under her breath, responded to the elfs question and started mumbling gibberish, About half way through the mumbling she activated the skill. And the elf seemed to connect the dots. They started to run of into a direction together. I was rather confused, When did owner get a friend?”

Also it seems no ones approaching her when they were going to the academy, Usually even if owner is sprinting that doesn't stop people from trying to hit on her. After a quick thought about i reasoned that it was because she was with another beautifully girl and that was making it harder for men to approach them.

When i snapped back into reality owner was at the front of a line to a room. Her “friend” is in front of her. Im not sure i trust her being master’s friend yet so ill keep my eye on her. She put her hand on a round crystal ball that you could see straight through. A blue box suddenly appeared above the crystal ball facing both the elf and the administrator. It was listing her name,age,race,amount of mana and mana regen and her magic affinity. She seems to have slightly more mana then the usual elf.

My owner walked up to the tester and i was able to get a good look at his face. He had brown shaggy hair, and a beard that hasnt been shaven in a few weeks. He had a condescending looked rather bored. He had a stick like thing in his mouth and smoke was coming out one end.He wore a dark blue robe with enchantments etched into the design. They were going from his shoulder down to his chest and up to the other shoulder, In a semicircle kind of fashion. It probably does the same on the back.

When my owner put her hand on the orb and began to poor mana into A blue screen appeared and showed off owner’s….I dont know what to call it since its titled status plate lets call its “stats” for short.Now i wonder what owner’s stat’s are?

I was in awe at what i saw, from what i can tell in this world getting a dual affinity is extremely rare. And only really shows up in people who had a lineage of dual affinity users. And from my knowledge there has been no dual-affinity user in the silver-wolf tribe. That would explain why she had both dark and lightning attributes already unlocked.

I was about to get lost in my train of thought but i stopped my self. My owner needs me right now i can feel the despair,confusion and… a feeling of being betrayed? As i look i see the elf that was supposedly owners friend staring at her with a look of fear and disbelief. I wanted to unleash a tide of [intimidating aura] but i stopped myself. That would only cause further trouble for owner.

As the teacher dragged owner down the hallway we began to approach a heavy looking door. Owner was still in shock so something tells me she really didn't know that she had a dual affinity. Her eyes were vacant and her face expressionless. She honestly looked like she didn't care what happen’s anymore. (author notes;i tried multiple ways to get the way lauras looking and feeling down and this was as close as i could get it. I need to pull her back to reality,but how? Ill draw a portion of her mana at a face rate so she notice’s. I began to focus on owners mana, and mentally imaged taking a small chunk and pulling it out forcefully. This would not cause any pain but normally it would leave the target exhausted, no matter how much mana that was taken out. But since I refilled her mana almost instantly though so there should be no effect.

My plan seem’s to work and she began looking around in confusion. Almost as if this was staged the tester signaled that the was opening the door. Upon opening the door we came into a room that was mostly plan with a large oval desk in the middle.

There was 9 people evenly spaced out. 4 people on the left and right side facing each other and 1 person at the far end of the table. The man sitting at the end of the table looked in his 40’s he was moderately buff and wore some type of mix between a robe and armor. The other people varied from people that looked like scholar’s to people that look like soldiers.

If i were to guess the man at the far end of the table was the principal of this academy and the other’s were advisor’s or some sort of council. The man at the end of the tabled asked the shaggy teacher who’s name was Chevel what he was doing interrupting their meeting.The teacher reply seemed to agitate the others.

He was saying something about this being of the utmost importance, and the principal seemed to get a worried look on his face when he noticed owner standing behind the teacher. I was not really paying attention on the conversation i was more focused on how Laura was doing.

The teacher must have dropped said that owner had a dual affinity because a load of [intimidating aura] was about to be poured on laura, I had to act fast but i cant just use my aura on them to scare them. No that would draw to much attention to owner, and in her shocked state im not sure if she could deal with it properly.

I decided to really do the only thing i could think of. I began to pour my own intimidating aura onto owner. There are multiple ways someone can apply intimidating aura. Those ways are either as direct pressure to suppress or knock someone out. Or You could use it to make people fear you. And the last is in a treating way sorta like a killing intent, which is a hybrid of the two that is a weaker then the two basic forms but it cover all bases.

The people pouring there [intimidating aura] onto owner are using the last one and i would venture to say thats they only way they know how to seeing has how its so sloppy. They probably think its the only way to do it. Its has a bad foundation and is a lot weaker than what it could be. it would be planning a building from the top to bottom.

But with so many of them direct at one person it would be deadly. So i decided to fight fire with fire. and apply a stronger aura that was meant to only suppress and not knock out the target. Since the aura im putting on owner is stronger and of a different type it doesn't allow the other to get through.This is tough love but i believe owner can get through it.

A man that i Notice that a skinny man came into the room holding a ball in his hand. I remember seeing him sitting at the table when we entered but i don't remember him leaving.

He placed the ball on the table and signaled owner to place her hand on it. This must be another one of those status plate thingys. And my guess what right. Again owners plate showed above the ball and the people in the room except the principal began pouring more aura onto owner. But before i had to get really serious it seems the principal got mad and told them to stop, so i also released my aura so it wouldn't arouse suspicion,

He began to ask question’s that were directed towards owner. It seems she has calmed down slightly and got a grasp of her situation. So she was able to respond. After a bit of talking the principal allowed owner to leave, the teacher that lead us here in the first place show us the way to a room were owner could relax.

After sitting owner down on the bed and getting a cup of water for her he left the room and said something about maids and food, i dont really know or care. Once the door closed owner laid back and curled up into her a ball here ears were flopping and she had a depressed look on her face.

I decided to teleport into her hands so she could have something to cuddle with. Im not as good as a pillow or blanket would be, but she has more trust in me,and she started to go to sleep,

(author:notes now before you go off into a land of fantasy’s i want to make something clear. There will be no romantic relationship between the sword and Laura. Even if Laura was able to fully communicate with the sword and knew it was sentient. they only reason why sword did what he did was to support Laura. There relationship is completely platonic and non romantic way and thats all it will ever be, DO I MAKE MY SELF CLEAR. Im talking to you people who keep sending me private messages about relationship ideas for the sword and laura i shall not give names. but this is your last warning.)

I decide to stay follow focused while owner sleeps and cuddles with my body in weird way’s. The main reason for this is so i can make sure no one tries to hurt owner when she sleeps. It came to my notice if i let my self go into a train of thought i would lose a rapid sense of time.

After a few very boring hours of standing guard the only interesting happened was a elf maid came into the room. I was prepared to attack her with my [aura] if she tried anything funny but she carried a plate of food in . And when she notice owner holding my body. She gave a gently and sort of motherly smile and pulled a blank over her. She set the food down and blew out the candles and just left the room (after locking it of course).

A few more hours passed and a loud knock came at the door. This noise woke owner up from her sleep. She hurriedly attached me to the sword belt and went to answer the door. It seems that nap really did her wonders.

She seems alot more calm and focused, But not all the way there yet. When she answered the door teacher shaggy hair answered it, Which is the new name im calling him. They talked a few second’s and left the room.

After a bit of walking we approached a double set of large doors that screamed someones important is behind this door. Teacher shaggy hair knocked on the door and after a response came from the inside he opened the door and guided owner into the room. In the room sat the principal from before relaxing at his desk.

The teacher gave his report and dropped of owner and just left. The Principal and owner started talking. After a few minutes of conversation the principal gave a sad smile with pity in his eyes.

After he said something to owner she had a confused face and was about to ask something then. A tall and old looking elf with grey in his mostly blonde hair appeared behind owner and placed a hand on her shoulder.

I suddenly felt like someone was about to touch my main body so a teleport back into owners hand looking back to see who would touch me i see the same man that touched owners shoulder.

He had a look of surprise on his face and attempted to grab me again. and i teleported back into the belt. He tried a few more times to attempt to grab me but i wouldn't allow it. Suddenly the room changed and were now in a large oval office. Sitting behind the desk directly in front of owner was the man who attempted to touch me.

he had a slightly irritated look on his face but it was more of a confused one. Behind him was a massive window that had a slight bend pointing outwards went up to the ceiling. The frame for such a large window was to massive tree trunks on both sides.

Getting a better look around the room i notice that there are bookshelf’s all along the wall that are to floors high. About mid way there seems to be a balcony like thing that allows you to reach the books on the higher level.

The desk the pointy ear’s sat at,(char note: which is what i decided to call him.) was elevated by one step. Owner was sitting on a comfortable looking chair,(by chair i mean couch but i didnt think that would fit with the story.)

Owner looked totally confused about what was going on, and had the most clueless face i have ever seen. (if you want a image i had one in the last chap.) She began looking around trying to get what just happened. And this probably would have keep up if pointy ears over there didn't speak up.

After awhile of talking to owner i have guessed this place is called Le’Lenora academy. and pointy ears is the grand master of the academy.And owner will be attending this “school for the gifted.” instead of the other one.

When there conversation was at its end pointy ears appeared in front of owner, and like the first time put his hand on her shoulder and me and owner appeared in a different place. We were in front of a wood door labeled “104”.

After owner knocked a voice responding saying that she can come in. Once Owner opened the door she was greeted by a girl from the dragon race, Which slightly surprised me. But what was more surprising was what was in the room.

I know what this girl is because this isnt my first time meeting this kind of person….In my past life they were the bane to my existence. And now as a sword they are my enemy’s…..sword fanatic. And now my owner roommate is one. but not just any sword fanatic. Shes the worst kind…. Shes a collector.
