~Laura PoV~

Before we get to close to the wall’s i activated the swords [cloaking aura] skill, so it stays unnoticed. But i really need to get a sword belt for this thing im getting tired of carrying it around.

As i approach the waiting line i notice there are alot of people today and i remember that tel’ram Knights academy always has its entrance exam a week later then the others. So all these people must want to get in other academy’s.

Well doesnt really matter i just need to wait in line till its my turn. While i was waiting so many guys tried to hit on me it was driving me up the wall. They use cliche pickup lines like

“hey baby~"

“my name is so and so whats yours.”

Or they will compare my appearance to something like the moon, or the star’s. I swear this is more then what i usually get its odd. Every since i got this sword people have been staring at me more often. Its not because of the sword i know its cloaking aura works. All the gaze’s are directed at me.

I Really had the urge to activate the swords [intimidating aura] and scare them away. But im not sure i can have active both [intimidating aura] and [cloaking aura] at the same time they kinda contradict each other.

After a bit of suffering i notice a little farther behind in the line a elf girl with golden blonde hair was having the same issues as me. I decided to give up my place in line because guys are less likely to approach two beauties that are grouped together then one by themselves.

I start moving my way back in line and when i got close enough i start talking loudly to her acting like we were friends.

“hey its been a long time didn't think i would see you here.”

She looked confused and i winked at her pointing behind me at the guys staring at me. After a few second she seems to get the idea and greeted me like old friends.

“when was the last time I saw you, what about a year ago. How have you been doing, are you also here to apply for a entrance exam?”

As we got closer to each other the guys started to back of once we were in normal talking range. She thanked me.

“aa it was nothing we were both in the same problem and guys tend to avoid girls that stick together.”

“I can agree with you on that. They were really hounding me back there. Again i thank you for the save my name is Pristine yours.”

A few of the guys close enough to hear our conversation started giving us the stink eye we just ignored it.

“aah my name is laura, I take it were here for both the same reason right.”

“if your here to take a entrance exam then we are. Im here to take the entrance exam for tel’ram knight’s academy.”

“ the i guess we're both about a week early then, Because so am I.”

We started laughing and talking back and forth like this till it was our turn in line. Since i was a little ahead in line i went first. This will be my first time in Scholas so i was a bit excited.

As i approach the guard holding a Istone ( anyone get the joke anyone?) His just stared off into nothing. I decide that he isn't going to start this conversation soon so i decide to speak up.

“my names Laura Vayne Im here for the Tel’Ram entrance exam."

He stood there for a few minutes, Just staring off into space.

“your name.”

He asked for my name? maybe he didn't hear me the first time.

“as i said my name is laura Vayne im here for the Tel’Ram entrance exam.”

He started to write down some stuff on the Istone.

“whats your reason for being here.”

“are you deaf I already told you the reason for being here.”

“what is your reason for being here.”

As he repeated the same sentence again with a face of pure boredom. And eyes staring off into nothing, I decided hes going to do this the hard way and ask each question individually.

“im here for the Tel’Ram entrance exam.”

“...”

“How long will you be staying.”

“unknown amount of time”

There was a pause for a bit while he started writing more things on the Istone.

“Where will you be staying at while you are in the city.”

“unknown.”

“that will be 2 gold please."

After paying him i was angry that the man didn't even care, and you had to do it his way,You could probably just walk right past him. I began walking towards the fountain in the center of the square where i said ill me pristine after she dropped something off at the relatives that live in the city.

After about 10 minutes i see pristine walking towards me in much simpler clothes then the adventuring gear she wore in front of the gate.

“ Hey laura sorry to keep you waiting.”

“No problem, You ready to go?”

“You're going to go shopping with your sword?”

“I cant even leave it if i tried, Also i don't have a place to stay yet.I was going to by a sword belt once i got into the city.”

she had a look of confusion on her face contemplating what i just said.I mean its only logical With the way i phrased it even if i had a place to put it. I still couldn't leave it behind.

“What do you mean by that?”

“ It’s easier to just show you.”

i placed the sword down where i was sitting walked over to her and held out my hands. After a moment the sword reappeared into my hands the look on her face was worth it.

“If i leave the sword behind or if anyone else tries to touch it, it will always teleport into my hand’s.”

After explaining how its bound to me she seem to be able to come up with a logical explanation in her head.

“So are first stop then is the armor shop right?”

“yea, If you don't mind that is.”

“Im fine with it, It must be tiring to carry that sword around always. I know were a trusted armor shop that can give you a nice sword belt come on follow me.”

“sure thanks for the assistance.”

We started to walk around and chat about things. Thankfully since there are two of us none of the guy’s approached to try to get lucky.

It took us about 30 minutes to get to the shop, We stopped a few times to look at some stall’s pet some stray animals and other things.we entered the shop and we were greeted by a buff old man with streaks of white in his grey hair and beard. He look to be in his 60 and obviously very old.

“Hello ladies, What do to beauties like yourself doing in a armor shop...O is that you pristine I think the last time i saw you was about 4 years ago when I gave you your first set of armor as a parting gift.How did it hold up?”

“It held up great In fact i still have it to this day. It saved my life number of times. How have you been faring uncle.”

“Business isn't as good as it use to be since that new Adventure shop came into town,but im scraping by.And who might be the beauty next to you.”

“Ah she’s my new friend i met at the city gates saved my life in a different way haha.In fact She has some business with you she needs a sword belt for her sword, Her sword is a bit unique so it made getting a belt for it rather hard for her, Think you can help.”

“sure i can, come her miss and show me your sword and sheath.”

As i approached him I thought this isnt going to go down real well then pristine came in with the save.

“Uncle her sword is a bit special and it does not allow anyone to touch it. Now i Know it sounds weird but i have seen it for myself there seems to be a advanced binding enchant that teleports the sword and sheath to the user hand if anyone tries to touch it or if she leaves it behind.”

I decided this would be the perfect time to demonstrate the ability, I set the sword on the near by table and invited him to try to grab it. Taking a few steps back the old man approached it and when his hands was a few inches away it appeared in my hand’s.

He had the same expression on as pristine did when she first saw it and with a little more explaining he seems to understand. And we agreed on me holding the sword out for him to see it.

“you know, This sword is unique in more ways than one girls. Not only does it have that weird binding enchantment i've never seen this type of sword before. From the looks of it this sword is meant to use as a sort of quick drawing and slashing at opponents. The way the sheath is made also indicates its easy to draw. And if im not mistaken i can faintly see ruin’s engraved into the sheath as patterns. do you have a idea what this is girl?”

As i think for a moment it suddenly came to me.

“Ah it could be that. When i first got the sword the first time i drew the blade the sword generated a slash of condensed air that was able to cut through a steel sword. Not only that i seem to be able to adjust how sharp the [air slash] was and could set it so it just release a powerful gust of wind. Since that I tried numerous times to activate the skill but was unable to.”

“well if my knowledge on rune enchantments is correct then that was a single time use. You Just probably need the right ignition to activate the enchantment. What were your thoughts at the time when you drew the blade?”

“I was thinking i need to draw the blade as fast as i could.Why do you ask?”

“Well there's your answer girl.”

“what do you mean.”

“here let me explain. Your thoughts when drew the swords were to get it out as fast as you can, like you said. So judging by that the enchantments on the sheath are thought activated since the sword is bound to you.Since fast can relate to wind it probably activated the [wind slash] enchantment on the sheath.

And before you say your affinity isnt even wind, With high level runes like the one on this sheath affinity isn't needed. It converts pure mana from the sword itself and turns it into wind mana and the enchantment turns it into a spell,get that all?”

“yea i think i understand. thanks for helping me out with that.”

“also, i have the perfect sword belt for a sword like yours. Well it wasn't directly made for your wierd sword so im going to need to adjust it some but the sword it was meant for was meant for a fast draw and slashing although the blade is bigger than your’s. If you come back tomorrow it Should be ready.”

“thanks, do you want to get paid half now and half later or the full payment now?”

“Lets go with the half and half deal i'm going to need to by some leather to adjust it for your sword. the belt will be around hmmmm 10 gold?”

“Uncle i thought you wouldn't rip her off like that, I thought you were better then this. You cant be doing so bad as to drop to this level!!”

"Now Now pristine im not ripping her off. The belt she’s getting is one of a kind and is quite decorated and fancy. Also Normal you would make holes in the sheath for the belt to to hook onto the sheath and sword. But since we can't drill a hole in that sheath i need to create a new way to secure the sheath to the belt.”

“Its fine pristine im willing to pay such a price i knew getting a belt for the sword wouldnt be easy.”

“fine its your money and i won't barge in. Thanks for still dealing with uncle even though he's ripping you off.”

“I told you girl im not ripping her off this is a fair deal!”

After paying the old man me and pristine said our farewells we start headed to the clothes store because i was obviously In need of some normal clothes. And since i got a far bit of time and money i might as well get some custom fit clothes.

upon entering the clothes store we had the same issue as the last time i entered one but this time i came prepare.

“hello girls how may i help you today? Oh my a weapon my sorry ladies no weapons allowed in the store you going to have to either leave it by the door or get out.”

“Ah this sword is a family heirloom and i'm getting the belt made for it today, Would you mind if i set it next to the counter i don't want someone to just open the door and steal it.”

the women thought about it,after awhile she agreed to it.

“so ladies what may i do for you today?”

“i was wondering if i could get some custom fit normal clothes, I have the gold to pay you but the only clothes i have are the ones on. And i would like to have some for public use i might be staying in the city for awhile.”

“sure would you like one of the current clothes on the shelf be adjust to you which takes 2-4 days and cost about 15 gold. Or would you like a brand new set of clothes made for which takes 5-6 months and cost around 30 gold?”

“lets take the first option then. i will go pick the clothes out thank you for the time.”

Me and pristine started looking around the store and found a set of clothes close to my size and shape and looked nice. They were a white sleeveless shirt That hung down to below the waist,and a simple tanned brown leather jacket That had a gap that if you were not wearing the shirt underneath you will be able to fully see the cleavage. that went over it and laced in the front. The pants were a simple loose fit black leather pants.

( author’s note:think jeans but in medieval times, i know isn't it hard.Also i dont have much taste in clothing especially female normal clothing in a fantasy setting so i tried my best to describe and if you didnt get the picture then tough luck.)

Also two other reason’s why i got this set one it lets my tail get through the clothing easily since the sleeveless undershirt hangs down far enough and also it has a belt holder. I couldn't get any luckier than this buying clothes in a mostly human city.

After handing the set of clothes of to the women and the desk me and pristine headed out for dinner since it was pretty late, at the inn she suggested i go to. After eating pristine went on her way and we agreed to met up on the day of the entrance exam.

After she left i went up to the clerk at the desk and ordered a room. Once i got into the room i set the sword against the wall and went to sleep. The next day i went to the armor shop at around noon, since i'm not a morning person waking up early is kinda hard for me.

when i entered the old man greeted me.

“hello kiddo the belt you ordered is ready. I adjusted it to fit roughly around your size and to have it tighten directly around the sheath instead of drill a hole in it. Also i added another strap for safety so the sheath should not fall out of its holding any time soon. And if it does it can be tightened again easily.”

“ thanks you Sir mind if I see it know i'm quite eager to take a look.”

“ Sure thing let me go grab it from behind the back.”

As he headed into the back room i waited eagerly. Honestly even though this sword is really light i would like to have my hand back. As the old man came out from the back i caught my first glimpse of the belt.

And when he said that it was nicely decorated he wasn't kidding. The whole belt had a was black it had a smooth treated leather look to it.The strap that went around the body was thin about 1 inch thick. on one side it had multiple iron chains hanging down with thick strips of soft black leather on one side of the chain near the end. which i guess were the parts that went in between the chain the the sheath to protect it and make its grip stronger.And at the part were the chains connect to the belt there was what appeared to be polish bronze(polish bronze looks similar to gold just one or two shades less yellow) cap with delicate design patterns it to making the belt of a beautiful look all together.

this is the closest image to what i wanted but its no exact the strap more to the right is longer so the sword hands at a angle and flip flop the black cloth to chains and the part holding the sword to soft black leather with restraints around it and thats about the image i had in my head.)

“Whats special about this sword belt is that it allows the user to adjust the angle when the draw the sword meaning they can get multiple ways to draw the sword. This doesn't really work well with long swords because there straight blade makes it hard to pull out. But with your blade that has a slight curve to it and allows for easy draw fits perfect with this kind of belt.”

After a few minor adjustments were made to the belt i put it on with the sword attached and it felt perfect. I finally got my hand back i got do things that take 2 hands again yay!! after paying the old man the rest and paying him a bit more. i went around to explore the town a bit.

The entrance exam is tomorrow and i'm excited. I have been eating dinner down in the lounge of the inn i have been staying at for the past few days,but today seems off. Every since i got my new clothes yesterday i felt like i'm being watched. But since this is the city i cant really use my detect skill.

Every time i try to figure out who it is there not there its strange. I have had this feeling a few times before im being stalked. And its not out of a love interest. I cant believe there are people trying to kidnap me. But since there doing this secretly im guessing its a underground slaving merchant that has targeted me this time. Well i need to rest tonight and since they didn't strike last night there probably trying to get down my pattern before going after me. From personally experience this usually takes them a few days, I'm at least safe for tonight.

I just cant do anything to alarm them and i should be fine. Which is harder than it sounds when you know someone is trying to turn you into a slave. After finishing my meal i paid for my last day here and headed up to my room and lock the door.

I put a dark affinity enchantment on it that makes it harder to open and makes a loud sound if the enchantments broken, Just to be safe. I put my sword down next the wall it doesn't really matter how close it is to me since it can just teleport into my hand.Well tonight is going to be a restless night i can feel it. And i begin to drift off into sleep.

The next morning i was in for a pleasant awaking. No one tried to get into my room from what i can't tell. And since i'm not in a slave collar in a cell in a creepy basement im guessing they didn't come through the windows. I put on a my old armor to look legit when i take the entrance exam and head downstairs for a quick morning snack before i headed off.

Once i reached the lobby i noticed i'm getting stared at differently. It isnt a look of lust or greed one of free i wonder why. Well i prefer people looking at me in fear then in lust. I ate my breakfast and bid my farewell to the inn keeper. Me and the inn keeper got along nicely and i will miss joking with her.

I went to go met up with pristine at the fountain when i saw her i she was also in her adventures garbs.She had a look of irritation on her face. i guess someone went after her when she was waiting.

“Pristine good morning.”

“What do you mean good morning! its almost noon the entrance exam starts in a few hours i was about to leave without you.”

“ ITS NOON!! We need to hurry come on. why didn't i wake up earlier.”

“Hey Laura does your sword look different today it…..just seems way more beautifully since the last time i saw it?”

O shit i forgot to activate the [cloaking aura],well just play it of as nothing and act like its normal. I wont be lying to her and she won't ask too many questions if i make it sound like its a known fact.

“ah i forgot to activate a enchant on the sword called [cloaking aura] it sorta makes the sword easier for people to miss.Let me just fix that.”

i began mumbling like i was about to use a spell and under my breath i activated [cloaking aura] skill. From the change on her face from from amazement to a normal one i guess it worked.

“So that was it, I would do the same thing if i had a sword that looked as nice as yours. Now lets hurry up and get to the exam.”

We reached tel’ram knight’s academy and got in line to be tested to see how much many and what are affinity is. This is mainly to root out people with zero talent since this school is the best in the city and only selects the best of the newcomers.

Since Pristine went in front of me i was able to see her results. They way the test you is you put your hand on a orb. That orb test’s how much mana you have,your affinity it also states your name, race, age. Its really hard for anyone to get there mana affinity tested official since those orbs are really rare. The usually way for poor people is you try to activate a spell in each tree.

But thats not bullet proof since you could have low mana or it takes you to actual know your mana affinity for you to use magic from that affinity. When pristine put her hand on the orb a wisdom box appeared above the orb facing both directions.

chapter 9 part 2

Now if you didn't get what was so important about the ending of last chapter then you didnt read 5,5. and you wouldn't know. So ill explain but let me tell you if you needed to read this message im mad at you that you didnt read 5,5 considering how much work i put into it.

To make a long story short in this world having dual affinities is like a albino black person. Its only real in theories and stories. If you want a more legit answer i suggest reading my chapter 5,5 you bung hole.

Also people in the past with dual affinity tended to abuse there power causing chao and fear, thus making the general public more wary when they know someone has a dual affinity.

Also thank Milo regard for helping me edit this, God so many people are helping me edit and the only way i can thank you is by releasing more chapters. Thank you again for all your help. also im going to start putting my author notes in the chapter a italics so its easier to tell story from notes apart.

Laura’s PoV

The room fell silent. All the hustle and bustle stops as more and more people began to notice my Status plate. I'm shocked myself I didn't even know I had a dual affinity. I'm completely speechless on what to do.

The first person to act was my examiner. He hurriedly closed down the status window grabbed my arm and rushed out the side door. As I was leaving still in entranced I notice Pristine looking at me bewildered with a hint of fear , I cant be that scary can I. How much can a dual affinity change the look you have on a person.

I mean if what that orb said is true then my dual affinity isn't even a offensive one. As I began going deeper and deeper into my thoughts I felt a sudden sharp tug on my mana, which confused me. I started to look around to see what the cause was and noticed i stood in front of a large door.

The teacher indicated that we are going into the room.He opened the door and dragged me along with him. In the room sat 9 people sitting at a circular table. They looked like they were in a debate when we interrupted them.

“teacher Chevel what are you doing here? We are in the middle of a important meeting.”

“I'm sorry for the intrusion principal,but something has come up that requires your immediate attention.”

“Teacher Chevel what could be so important that it allows to to talk so rudely to the principal,if you continue talk in that tone to the principal you will get fired !”

“im sorry If it came off rude but this is something that has to be addressed asap.”

“alright teacher speak up then, and who is the young lady you brought with you, She seems to be in a entranced stated. Did something happen on the admission grounds?”

(it seem's people didnt get the meaning of this and i cant find a way to put it in the story so ill tell directly. Since Laura still in a trance her eyes look hollow like they were staring off into a far place etc or something bad happened and she lost touch with the world. And since she is very beautifully what the principal was hinting at was sexually assualt.)

“No principal it seems this girl has a dual affinity.”

And with that the room went silent. If there was a cricket nearby you would hear it chirp. All eyes fell on me, there piercing stare’s felt like the dug right through me. Thank god they started mumbling among’s themselves.

“Silence! secretary go bring me are spare judging ball and make it snappy.”

“Yes principle right away.”

With that a rather skinny man wearing glasses stood up from his chair and nearly sprinted out of the room. After a good 5 minutes of being stared at till the point I felt like was going to faint with these people staring at me so intently. Then the skinny man returned with the orb in is hand.

He set it on the table and signaled me to come closer. Once i walked up to the table i took one final look around. The teacher told me to hurry up. Since i have no real reason to refuse and i just want this to end, I did as i was told and placed my hand on it.

It showed the same thing as before, And all the eyes in the room went from me to the wisdom box then back to me. Only this time the staring is more intense. I cringe and start to cramp up because their stares are almost to intense.

“People stop pouring so much [intimidating aura] onto the girl its a miracle she hasn't fainted yet. Now girl did you know that you had a dual affinity?”

I just simply shook my head no, still in a daze by all the sudden events I couldn't speak up yet. But i felt like that in order for this to end faster i should give them more info then what they asked for.

“I only knew i had a dark affinity i didnt know anything about having a dual affinity.”

my voice was quite but for some reason it was able to reach them clearly.

“Obviously girl you were quite frightened by these rude people. teacher Chevel would you mind taking this girl into one of the upper level rooms and ask a maid to bring her something to it.”

“Yes, principal.”

And with that i was gently pushed on the back inbetween the shoulder blades to go forwards. As we left the room and the floor began to close i could see that a ugly debate was about to happen.

Once we got up the stairs we approached one of the rooms on the end of the hallway. The teacher with a key opened the door and lead me in. He sat me down on the bed got me a cup of water and told me a maid will be here shortly with something to eat.

I laid down on my back and curled up into a ball. the sword appeared in my hands at the perfect timing because i needed something to squeeze. While my tension began to loosen i started to nod of into sleep.

I awoke with a loud knock on the door. I dont know how long i was out for but it felt like a few hours. I went to go answered it and notice a tray of food on the table. I opened the door to see a lone man standing outside my door. It was the same teacher that lead me to that meeting with the principal and what i could only guess were other key figures in the school.

“The principal wishes to see you.”

We started walking down the hallway. After a few minutes of walking we approached a double door that was made out of hard wood and looked rather expensive. This could only be the principals office. The teacher started knocking on the door and we heard from within the office.

“Come in.”

As we entered the office the principal was sitting on a chair behind a big desk. It would give off a very intimidating feel to it if the principal wasn't sitting stretched back drinking a cup of tea with his legs on his desk.

“ Principal i have brought Laura Vayne with me like you have requested.”

“Thank you teacher Chevel, you may leave.”

With that the teacher left i didnt really want him to leave me alone with this guy but he really isnt going to listen to my opinion now his he?

“No need to stand there Ms.Vayne take a seat on the couch over there. And was there a reason why you brought your sword into a meeting with the principal,”

Taking a seat i decided to go with a vague answer seeing as how the more truth i tell him about the sword the more questions he will ask. And to be honest i really dont want to be here anymore,

“To make a long story short the sword can't really leave my side.”

“Ooh interesting? Well it doesn't really seem like the time to talk about such a thing seeing as how your future is on the line here. Well then Ms.Vayne after me and my council had a… talk we came to the decision that you will got to Le’Lenora academy.”

“I have never heard of that academy before? and Do i even get a choice anymore?”

The principal had a faint smile on his on his face looking at me with a bit of pity.

“sadly dear you do not get a choice to were you go. And Li’Lenora is a school that is owned by all 5 of the races that was made for children who have exceptional talent or like you Ms.Vayne who have a dual affinity. Do not think you can escape there on the journey over because you will not be walking there.”

I was about to ask what he means when a man suddenly appeared behind me, put a hand on my shoulder and i was in a different location. I began looking around probably with the most clueless expression on my face right now.

The room i was in now had a much more natural feel to it, it seems bookshelf's were embedded into the wall’s and filled with books. I was now on a comfy dark green sofa with a still clueless expression on my face.

“Eh hem, Ms. Vayne can you please focus,”

At the sound of a voice i snapped back into reality and looked at the man who called my name.

“good know that i Have your attention I am the Grand master of Le”lenora academy welcome to my school. If you wouldn't mind i'll like to ask you a few questions first.”

I just nodded i'm still sorta in a trance,

“good first question. When you were teleported over here why could we not take your sword away from you.”

“Ah its bond to me and will teleport to me if anyone else but me tries to touch it or if i get to far away from it.”

Why did i answer that? I shouldn't have answered that?

“Well i certainly haven't heard of something like that before but theoretically it isnt impossible The sword would need its own massive supply of mana to do so though,Care to explain?”

“it does have its own supply of mana.”

why am i still talking about this. I shouldn't be saying these things. It could get the only thing that has brought me good luck since the time i was abandoned taken from me.

“well im sure we have loads to talk about your sword later, Like why is it cloaking its presences or the fact that it can even hold such a large mana pool that allows for it to teleport to its owner when certain circumstances meet. Or the question that were does it get the mana from if its not draining it from you.”

i just stared at the person speaking. This was the first time i actual looked at him. He appears to be of the elf race and is quite old. He is tall and skinny and wears a decorated robe that covers his body. His hair is gold like most elf’s but it has grey lines of hair running through it. I decide leaving it off on his note would be a bad idea so i decide to throw in my two senses in.

“To be honest i don't fully understand how it works either.”

“Oh? interesting, Well then we will leave that aside for now and talk about the reason you're here. First how is your swordsmanship? 2nd how well are you at using magic? 3rd how well you are off in you in strength,stamina. and those things.”

Since it doesnt feel like i can lie here im not going to risk lying and just speak the truth for now.

“i Know no swordsmanship, I only know a few spell’s in dark ranging from beginners level to intermediate. Just today i found out that i have a dual affinity. And i can run at full sprint for 2 full days with out feeling exhausted i was not able to test the full limits though.”

“ The first 2 things are believable but i’m having trouble believing the last option even though you should not be able to lie in this room. It is still quite unbelievable.”

“i do not know the reason why either sir.”

“well then that is quite interesting indeed. But it is quite late and i need to think about what class to place you in and think over what your sword is. Your room has already been decided and your roommate has been told to wait inside for you.”

He then stood up and appeared infront of me, touched my shoulder and now im standing infront of a door labeled.

Since there was nothing else to do i decided to knock. And from within the room i heard a feminine voice calling out saying i can come in. When i opened the door i was greeted by a girl with a big smile on her face. She was about my height and has thick black hair hanging down her back. A slender figure with breast’s just a bit larger than average.

But one of the more interesting things was the scales lining up and down her arms, you can see them poke through her shirt and stop at the neck. (the scales stay on the back side of the arms and go up to the shoulders and goes slightly up the neck.Also the scales form a downwards facing triangle going[isosceles triangle] closely following the spine till it reaches the hip,)

“My name is Mirinia but people just call me Miri. Ill be your room mate from now on. So can i get your name roomy?”

I was a bit out of it with all that’s happened today. And on top of that im meeting my first dragon race. To say the least it took me a few moments to respond.

“Ahh sorry about that alot has happened today my name is Laura.”

“yes, come on in no need to stand there at the door this too is your room now as well.”

As i entered one thing struck me as weird beside the massive room's with 2 beds a half kitchen, 2 walk in closets, 2 separate study rooms a large bathroom and a lounge. From all the stuff littered around theres one defining feature i can guess about Miri…. Shes a sword fanatic.
