So yeah, this is weird…….

I was looking up at the two people I knew of as my parents, and I had no clue what they were talking about. I guess that makes sense since the only languages I knew were English, German, and some little pieces of Spanglish.

………. You know, I can’t even make some guesses at what they’re even trying to say… all I’m getting here is Anna blah blah blah blah blah Anna blah blah blah……… at least I can recognize my name, I can at least have THAT…… haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh

My mother was a rather short cute looking woman who, if I wasn’t there for my birth in person, I would’ve sworn was only 15 or 16 years old. She was pretty and had long golden hair with hazel eyes, but she didn’t seem to really pay me all that much attention at all since my own birth.

My father on the other hand looked at least 30 something, was tall, and was built like an athlete. He also had this really well maintained goatee that he liked to stroke all the time, I think he might even talk to it when he is all alone. Pops seemed to treat me like I was the best thing in the world besides his own facial hair, and was constantly picking me up, spinning me, or trying to talk to me. It was actually kinda nice, I just wish I knew what he was saying so I could finally snuff out my silly idea of him talking to me for hours on end about the wonders of his own facial hair…

…………….. and that my dear Anna is why you should always wash your face and ESPSCECIALLY your goatee after every meal, trust me Anna if you don’t you’ll never live up to your old man!

Dad looked up from me at something mom said.

……… Dear, why does it seem like you love your goatee more than me?

Because I do woman, see look Anna gets it! She understands the importance of giving ones best feature some good old fashion TLC!

…………. We’re getting a divorce, I KNEW I should’ve listened to my mother when she told me you weren’t right for me….

Fine I’ll just marry my own goatee then! But I get to keep Anna too!

…….. fine, I’ll just remarry and make a new family then…

Good its settled then, now come to the dining room, dinner is ready.

Just a minute, imam go wash and comb my goatee before the meal! Anna, wait here I’ll be back after just a little while. Try not to look your mother directly in the eyes, she sees it as a form of challenge like some sort of wild animal….

I pulled myself out of my own little adlib game of “What could they possibly be talking about?” as I watched my parents leave my room from my woven reed crib. I really needed to learn the language as quickly as I could because this was getting ridicules, plus it sounded really beautiful and would probably be the equivalent of this world’s “Language of love” which would earn me some serious flirting points with Danny/Alt when I find him. Not that the idea of using the elven language to seduce the literal pants off my reincarnated best friend was a major motivation for me…. Not at all….

…….. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh…….. It’s gonna be a long boring life until I can talk, isn’t it? Oh well, buck up Anna this isn’t your first time at the races… just stay positive, reimagine all your favorite shows, music, and games to stave off total mind-numbing boredom, and learn an entire language……. It can’t THAT hard, right?

anyway on to some news.....

first off the most important thing for this story, i said i wanted to take a break from B.B. after ark 2 is over, but that will still take a good 4 or 5 more chapters, and i just dont feel like waiting that long to do some of the stuff i wanted to, so i wont. imma take this week off from BB and work on something else before i finish off ark 2. after ark 2 is done i'm going to put the story on a short hiatus (like a month or two only), so be warned and maybe pace yourselves to ration out your crack doses.... or just take on massive 5 chapter hit and ride the high while you can.... doesn't really matter to me. during that hiatus i might start up on ark 3, but even if i finish chapters i wont post anything until the hiatus is over so when you check your favorites lists there might one day just be like four or so BB chapters all released back to back.....

next up is about A Numbers Game, i'm not droping the story, but i'm gonna prioritse other things until i see it's fan-base grow, which i know usually only happens when a story has at least 10 or so chapters, but hey i'm here to tell you the fans it wont GET 10 chapters for like a few months now when it is compeating against B.B. and the new story i'm starting with such a small fan-base... there is only one of me, and i'm gonna take the route that makes both me and the greatest number of people happy, so if you were waiting for that story to grow a bit before checking it out, i suggest you just try it now or settle in for a rather long wait.........

the last BIG thing is i'm gonna be working on an entirely new story this week. it'll also be in the same multiverse as B.B. and may mention some familiar names (Not Alt or any other mortals for QUITE some time though) and characters that the careful readers will notice. i plan to do a few stories in this multiverse (A.N.G not included) and they will all tie together in SOME way.... maybe i'll end them all once and for all with one massive crossover special story a few years from now, who knows? (totally want to now...)

anyway this time it'll be another fantasy, and it'll hopefully have a good dose of my signature dark humor, but the main character WONT be just straight up evil (because regardless of what Alt thinks of himself he is kinda evil, but so is most of his world so its fine i guess.......) and will be more morally ambiguous and neutral in its thinking. oh the main character is also a dungeon so if you like stories about that you might like this "as of now unnamed" story even MORE than B.B. i'll upload it after i have a few chapters beyond just a prologue to give you guys, and i will make an announcement post with the story's link when its up, so know that's coming and don't start the whole "its just non-chapter updates ALL THE TIME!!!" cuz i'll delete that post after the next B.B. chapter is done and i can add the link to the author notes instead.....

in less minor news, you have the chance to give me some input into character design for an upcoming ark 3 B.B. chapter and a major character who will be a part of Alt's inner circle, oh and there is some other less important stuff too... check that out here:
