《Black Blood (Dropped...)》Good News, Bad News......

bad news is: i got a lot of stress going on with Finals, looking for my first job that i refuse to let be fast food (for the safety of the public, no one should let ME handle their food.... i'll find SOME way to accidentally poison or ruin it....), and just burning out on the story of Black Blood in general.......

now don't freak out, this isn't where i tell you, "Oh yeah guys, imma drop this story.... SCREW YOU FANS, IMMA DO ME!!!" that isn't what this is at all.... i just feel i need i bit of a break away from Alt and the gang, so i decided to take one.

so yeah a lot of shit goes down in chapter 25, and i have to find a way to write it in a way that makes sense and flows all pretty like..... that isn't something i think i can do at the level i'd like, doing it the justice it deserves, with all this background shit going on in my life and how i feel about the story in general right now, so i figured a break was probably the best call anyway.....

i would say that i'm taking a two week break, but realistically with my addiction to writing, and the way my mind circulates chapter ideas until i actually write the damn things (they even invade my dreams at times, its kinda cool but can get REALLY annoying when you just want some restful sleep.....), i'll probably sneak a few chapter releases in to feed our mutual addiction to vampire crack......... (is it bad when the dealer is hooked too? damn that addictive vampire crack is some dangerous shit to handle.....).

so at least for a while i'm turning my focus away from B.B and towards another idea that was kicking around in my head "A Numbers Game". a more serious, far less humorless (though there are some funny moments, i just cant keep up a serious atmosphere all the time in any story), and much more Sci-Fi type of story.

its first person as well, and follows the story of 33 and 6, as the two lend their skills to whoever they choose. it has all the darkness, immorality, and just general evil one can expect from my stories, but lacks the insane main character and the dramatic intense capitalization. oh and while Alt and 33 may have some things in common, (their view toward those they hold dear, their intelligence, both being masters of their fields, etc....) they approach problems in VERY different ways. Alt plans and schemes his way to a victory compensating for his lack of physical ability with his resources, connections, and the abilities he DOES have. 33 just simply straight up kills anyone that blocks his way.

so check THAT out while you wait for the next B.B. fix, and give that story that some love too..... or at least don't hate on it too much, it was my first shot at writing Sci-fi instead of fantasy after all.......

anyway imma go write chapter 1 of A.N.G while i study for the finals today and tomorrow..... and all next week.......
