"Hmm?" Feng Xing seemed to not notice anything at all, and even looked at her weirdly like she was paranoid or something.

"Hmm... I'm pretty sure I heard someone snorting..." Xiao Ling refused to believe that she didn't hear anything, she clearly knew very well that she heard someone snorting that moment. Nothing could fool her ears, she was sure, but seemed to be a bit troubled by Feng Xing. According to how he was acting currently... it was as if he didn't hear anything at all...

"Things like this also happen, in life alot of things happen that might be confusing, weird and unexpected, but sometimes you might really be overthinking it. I didn't hear anything after all, must of have been your imagination." Feng Xing stated, hoping that she would pry any further. Luckily for him, she seemed to just let it slide.

"...Hmm, alright." Xiao Ling seemed to trust Feng Xing's senses, and let it slide this time. It could also have been her imagination since she seemed to be the only one to hear it, and there wasn't any trace left after all.

After that Feng Xing decided to teach her a few things about Energy itself and the Control, so she would know more about it. Learning about something you don't understand is also very efficient after all. He felt that if he gave her enough time, she would slowly become a true master of Energy. The two chatted for a while, and Xiao Ling kept asking questions about Energy Control. Since she had been testing alot of things with her Energy, some things were mysterious to her. The things she didn't understand she would ask.

"Hmm, I see so that's how it is." Xiao Ling seemed to be enlightened, after hearing Feng Xing explain everything so clearly. She would definitely remember everything he said, like someone thirsty for knowledge.

"Indeed, Energy is something that isn't profound at all, atleast at our current stage. So you shouldn't think to hard about it." Feng Xing seemed to be very content with her clever questions, she wanted to know everything.

Feng Xing and Xiao Ling had already been talking with each other for a few hours straight already, It was even already morning...

Feng Xing slowly was even forgetting that there were still others somewhere in this room, he was answering all Xiao Ling's questions very profoundly. Even he himself was absorbed in answering every question perfectly. Xiao Ling eyes constantly lit up after being enlightened, She truely had respect for Feng Xing now. Luo Ai didn't seem to be happy and Dio seemed to stare weirdly at him. This made Feng Xing feel a bit uncomfortable...

Feng Xing sighed and said : "Don't hold back and ask or say what you want to say." He got straight to the point, he didn't have much time after all. Luo Ai immediately spoke up first.

"Who was that girl you taught, and what have you been doing all this time and how are you still alive?" These things were the things she wanted to know the most currently, she looked at Feng Xing with eyes that could make any man below the heavens spit out the truth, although it wouldn't have much effect on Feng Xing which she knew...

"I have planned out some things, and need to get strength and support as fast as possible. I have planned to train people that could help me greatly in the future like that girl you just saw, and I'm planning to go back to that Realm once again, I can't let the Dragon God get away with this... The reason why you're currently here is also probably connected with the Dragon God right? And as for the question why I'm alive... I have no clue to be honest, It might be because of a Grand Dao someone cast on me in the past or it was because I was close to becoming the Dao itself, but currently I'm residing in this body and I'm actually grateful for this, since with this I can still have the chance to do something."

"Alright, no more questions?" Feng Xing asked the two, who were still standing there.

"Mhm, no questions anymore. We will formally meet later!" Luo Ai seemed to not care about Xiao Ling anymore and dragged Dio away who seemingly wanted to ask a question. Feng Xing stared weirdly at the two disappearing. Meet formally later? What did she mean? He slightly had a weird feeling... but didn't pay it any mind for now and left his room. Feng Xing would ask Luo Ai's details later, but he seemed to already have an exact idea about it.

Feng Xing stepped out of his room, and went towards the room next to his, Rou Xue's room. He knocked once and said : "I'm ready, let's go."

After a short while the door opened and Rou Xue walked out. She seemed to be already in her Sect clothing... Feng Xing inspected her a bit. It looked pretty well on her, as if it was natural.

"Alright, let us go then." Rou Xue said, while holding a book in her hands. It was the same book she received from the tests. She was still studying it a bit more, by now she probably knew every single thing stated inside.

Feng Xing and Rou Xue were currently moving over to the 4th mountain area.

Currently a young man who seemed to be mad was standing across four youths kneeling down in fear... the young man in front of them was emitting a terrifying aura that was half step into the Martial Path realm... sooner or later he would completely step into it!

"You useless fools! Can't you do anything right!? What do you mean he beat u guys up! he's only at the 7th rank!" The man who was angry was Mong Gu, he heard that they even told Feng Xing his name and all his plans...

The eyes of the youths all lit up, Mong Gu actually believed them, but what they didn't know was that Mong Gu just said that to shut them up for now and end the conversation...

"I'll take care of this myself... you guys just stay out of this for now." Mong Gu didn't believe them at all, so he would now take it in his own hands. Since Feng Xing was only at the 7th rank and already knew it was him anyways.

The youths stared at each other and left hurriedly since they just wanted to leaveheavy atmosphere... leaving Mong Gu standing there all alone.

Mong Gu smiled coldly and muttered: "Defying me is not good... hehe.." Mong Gu had absolute confidence in himself, Half step into Martial Path realm! How could a mere 7th rank cultivator compare to that! He decided to take care of Feng Xing himself. Maybe he could even show off in front of Xiao Ling since she seemed to have a good relationship with Feng Xing.

Mong Gu laughed and walked off into the distance.

Only the strong have enough ingredients, this would mean that the strongest Pill Masters are usually also very strong cultivators...

It was a cycle actually, stronger cultivators get more ingredients to increase their own strength and to improve their concocting technique! This was also a reason why alot of people wanted to become high rank Pill Masters! It was very beneficial, but some didn't even try due to it being way to hard... or they just wanted to focus on another aspect.

"In the book it was stated that we can use any room as long as we pay for the pill cauldron and ingredients used. Usually you can only buy ingredients with contribution points, but luckily we are new. It's stated that new members get a free trial try." Rou Xue explained to Feng Xing since he probably didn't read the book at all.

"Hmm, I understand now. Well let's go talk to that Elder over there at the counter then." Feng Xing pointed to an old man who sat behind the counter, he would give them permission to a room and grant them the ingredients they wanted.

Feng Xing and Rou Xue walked over to the counter, there were quite a bit of people around. When Feng Xing and Rou Xue walked in, everyone looked over at them. They noticed that Feng Xing and Rou Xue were new... to the Hall.

Some had disdain for them while others found them rather interesting, but most people didn't think much of it. It was pretty usual for newcomers to come to this facility... they would want to try out pill concocting once after all... especially with the free trial...

Feng Xing and Rou Xue plainly ignored them and talked with the elder, both of them got a room for free, but the ingredients that they would receive for free were still limited. It wasn't like the Sect was going to let them spend it all for free...

With the ingredients they received the max level pill they could make was only a Rank 1 pill, but that was still okay. A Low Tier Martial Path pill was still very beneficient for both of them, especially if the essence is atleast above 50%... usually when making pills most of the essence goes to waste in the process... only with precise control could one get the pill to contain 50% essence or above.

Feng Xing and Rou Xue immediately went to the rooms they were designated to... of course they were right beside each other. Both of them now stood outside their rooms.

"Good luck, Master." Rou Xue simply said before going inside her room. Feng Xing simply smiled also and went in.

"Rou Xue probably also plans to make a Low Tier Martial Path pill... but how much of it's pill essence would she be able to keep?" Feng Xing was a little bit curious about her abilities, when he went into the room he saw some simple things a Pill Master would need for concocting. A Low Tier pill cauldron, Low Tier fire essence and of course a place for him to put his stuff.
