"How arrogant." The disciples thought. Although he defeated an 8th rank cultivator instantly, they still didn't believe that he would be able to defeat all of them.

They all pounded on Feng Xing. Feng Xing still had a cold grin on his face. he was waiting for this moment, He already was condensing energy deep inside his body. Now it was time to let it all out!

Waves of Energy flew out of Feng Xings body. It injured every disciple within a short radius of him. Once again he managed to surprise Xiao Ling and the elders further, by now even Zhao Kon was also watching. He seemed to be also shocked at Feng Xings strength. Although Feng Xing didn't want to show off his strength. He didn't actually care if people did know. They would obviously protect him if they knew he was a heaven defying genius.

The Energy Burst was no battle skill at all, it was pure Energy Control. Only veterans could utilize and control their Energy like that. "Energy Control!" One of the elders yelled out in excitement. They now all looked at Grand Elder Ran with a questioning look on their faces.

"..Where did you manage to gain such a disciple?" The First Grand Elder asked, this was something they all wanted to know.

Grand Elder Ran remained quiet while looking at Feng Xing. He also seemed to wonder where Feng Xing came from...

"Ahem, I.." Grand Elder Ran finally broke the silence and decided to say something.

"I actually.. didn't know he had such abilities. I only took him in as a disciple not to long ago..." Grand Elder Ran didn't tell the other elders about Feng Xings body cultivation manual, but it was true that he actually didn't know that Feng Xing had such extraordinary abilities.

"A true genius who can even fight cultivators above his rank!" Most Elders currently had this in mind, but what they didn't realize was that they still underestimated Feng Xings true battle power because of his cultivation.

All the disciples were now injured except for the last person who was at the 8th rank of the Tempering Path. He currently experienced having cold sweat. He just didn't know how Feng Xing managed to fend them off like that.

Feng Xing immediately dodged and threw a casual punch straight to the face of his opponent. The 8th rank cultivator immediately fainted and was blasted away.

What currently remained was pure silence...

Nobody could believe it if they had not seen it with their own eyes, a cultivator of the 6th rank actually beating people from the 8th rank, and it even seemed to be like childplay for him! How frightening was this!

"...Ahem!" The First Grand Elder was also dumbstruck, but still managed to come back into reality. This was truly a shocking matter. He would talk with the Sect Master later about this matter.

"The..... winner of this match is Xiao Lings team!" He announced. By now all elders and disciples were warping back to reality, but still had clearly shocked expressions on their faces. This day they would never forget.

Feng Xing still seemed as calm as ever and walked back till he stood in front of Xiao Ling.

"So what if you have a bit of skill? If I could use my total battle power I could easily wipe all of them out, and that includes you!" Xiao Ling was clearly surprised, but still felt that she was much stronger than Feng Xing.

Feng Xing helplessly smiled. This girl was way to unyielding and stubborn, but what she said wasn't particularly wrong. If she was allowed to use her Martial Path cultivation base. She could definitely wipe all of them out easily.

"Girl, I'll tell you a secret if you become my disciple." Feng Xing didn't care anymore. She was way to stubborn, so he just asked straightforward.

While the two of them were talking, other disciples watched in envy. They never had the chance to talk Xiao Ling alone after all. The Elders were also finishing up their business and leaving. The Grand Elders decided to give the prize after all the other disciples and elders left.

Feng Xing, Zhao Kon and Xiao Ling gathered. Only Zhao Kon was excited for the prize while Feng Xing and Xiao Ling seemed to not care at all.

Suddenly the Three Grand Elders revealed 10 pills that had a strange aroma, but with only a single glance you could tell they weren't ordinary Tempering Path pills, but actually Martial Path pills!

"We intended to give the winning team a pill for each member, your team thus will obviously be receiving three pills." The First Grand Elder handed over a pill to each of them.

Only Zhao Kon started drooling instantly, but after a thought quickly put away the pill. Feng Xing and Xiao Ling also slowly put away their pills.

"Alright that's all, Zhao Kon you will be dismissed for today while the others stay for a bit longer." The First Grand Elder said.

Zhao Kon didn't know why, but didn't care as he wanted to breakthrough to the Martial Path immediately with his pill so he left. Even though he would be able to breakthrough to the Martial Path realm, he still wouldn't be as outstanding as Xiao Ling since he was already 17 years old this year while Xiao Ling was only 15.

Feng Xing already knew that he would be questioned after the match, but he didn't know why Xiao Ling also had to be present.

"I see you that you are willing, but I still have to talk to the Sect Master about this matter, and the Sect that I'm talking about currently isn't important. Just know that it's very hard to get in it."

Feng Xing now realized that they were talking about a top sect of the kingdom. Xiao Ling seemed to already know this, as she didn't even blink a eye after hearing all this.

"A top sect of the Southern Nantian Kingdom... interesting." Feng Xing seemed to be interested, but also surprised. He had not even been in this sect for a year and would already be possibly moving out...

How funny. Although Moonfire Sect couldn't teach him anything, he still expected to stay in this sect much longer, but that didn't matter since no Sect could actually teach him anything.

"Alright, thats all I wanted to say. If you both get accepted into the Sect, please care for each other." The Grand Elders smiled. They hoped Feng Xing and Xiao Ling would be accepted, since that would bring honor to the Moonfire Sect.

Just as Feng Xing wanted to walk away a clear voice resounded behind him.

"Don't fail the Sects expectations." Xiao Ling coldly said and then walked away.

"Hehe, and don't you forget about my proposal! Whether you accept or not is your choice!" Feng Xing yelled. He was sure Xiao Ling heard it.

The Grand Elders also heard it, but paid it no heed.

20 minutes later.

"Greetings, Sect Master." The Grand Elders were now in a room greeting an old man who had a head full of white hair. A righteous air lingered around him, and his eyes were especially sharp for his age. This was the current Sect Master of the Moonfire Sect, someone who was at the peak of the Martial Path realm.

The Grand Elders immediately explained the details.

"This Feng Xing, are you sure he is qualified to be recommended?" The Sect Master seemed to be unable to believe it, a 6th rank cultivator able to beat cultivators down cultivators of the 8th rank? Unthinkable was the only answer.

"Yes, we're sure. We saw with our own eyes that he beat 8th rank cultivators down easily. I'm sure he is qualified enough." The First Grand Elder confidently said.

"Alright, then.. I'll also recommend him... to the Black Gods Sect.." The Sect Master seemed to believe it after he saw how confident the First Grand Elder was, and he had complete trust in him.

"Hmm, I should atleast inform Feng Lao and my father about it. I'll ask the Grand Elders tommorow if I'm able to leave the sect for a bit." Feng Xing clearly wanted to let his father and Feng Lao know about this. After deciding this he immediately closed his eyes and began his cultivation. He didn't use the pill yet and wanted to reserve it to breakthrough to the Martial Path realm.

He slowly felt his cultivation base climb.
