-Afternoon. Nefiru's POV-

By the 3rd afternoon quarter, the Sun shines the isolated thin clouds in the blue skies and illuminates the charred landscape with bones, bloody pools and craters where low ranking wolves clean up the battlefield. Back at the hill, the high-ranking wolves were increasingly unhappy about the presence of the foxes and their treatment while I was entranced by a strange smell approaching me.

""GRRR..."" The wolves at the open part growled annoyed at the foxes reluctance to leave or the casual attitudes around the corpses.

"Nefiruo!" The green wolf on my left greeted. "Look what we caught running away..." Wuenia presented and halted.

"Good work." I praised scanning the arrivals.

*Thump!! Klalang!* The chained fox beast catching attention stopped and the golden wolf to the right continued walking towards me with his ears lowered to the back.

"Hunff! Hruff!" The earthen wolf sniffed while walking around me clockwise and stopped in front of the green wolf before speaking.

"You don't smell impressive." He declared with a smug expression.

"Uhh... O...kay... If you are picking a fight, get in line. I don't have time right now." I growled back annoyed and moved past him.

"GWRUFF! Coward!" The golden wolf scoffed and taunted.

"Mate... This isn't the time to cause trouble..." The green she-wolf reproved.

"Hm? Why are you covering for--?!" The golden wolf noticed the glares from all around and stopped under Erina's glare.

I ignored the troublemaker canine and stopped in front of the green fox while Karla slowly approached on my right.

"Open your mouth!" I ordered in Stilus.

"Wuoh?" She uttered tilting her head slightly and blinking once.

"Don't play dumb! I know there's a person inside..." I reaffirmed getting impatient.

"Ramika! It's good to see you alive..." Karla greeted while approaching.

"..." The green fox stared acknowledging in silence.

"Can't talk because she's keeping that person alive..." I rolled my eyes announcing.

"It's alright... You can do as the weird lizard says. We can go home already, but you arrived late..." The vixen leader assured nodding.

"..." Ramika squinted and averted her gaze.

"Listen to this black furball. And you have to think of your, uhh...four cubs?" I look around her body identifying the heartbeats inside and the fox raised an eyebrow.

"Really?!" The dark-skinned woman asserted with wide eyes and turned to the beast. "Congratulations!" She spoke strangely enthusiastic.

"MM." Ramika nodded and lowered her muzzle. "Bleah! Gahum! Gack!" She spews a teenager-looking fox girl head out first.

*Sshhhlaak! Bluak--Thud!* A fox woman wearing light armors slid on the large tongue and landed softly on the dirt covered in slobber while facing up.

"Gnnnhh..." The busty person groaned deeply asleep.

""Ayumi survived?!"" A few foxes questioned surprised from the back.

"Please have mercy... She's just a 17-year-old innocent girl who hasn't killed any wolf or experienced much in life..." The green fox pleaded using wind magic.

"Hooh...?! Alright. You have my word that we won't kill her, but I'll be a little rough..." I consented and said before looking down.

"W-why?" The beast questioned my intentions.

"There's a scent on her I want to confirm..." I announced and approached slowly.

"The smell you were talking about...?" Karla affirmed close by.

"Yes..." I nodded saying and lowered my head towards the wet fox woman. "Huff! Huuuuff!" I sniffed up close and pulled back. "Ah! The scent is on her skin, but the slobbered clothes are in the way..." I informed in a suggestive way.

"...Pervert." Karla gave me a dirty look crossing her arms.

"Not really...it's that smell drawing me in. I'm just holding back from ripping the armors off." I reproved with a glare.

"Riiiight..." The dark-skinned woman rolled her eyes dragging her voice.

""Huehue hehe he he."" The foxmen laughed from behind expecting a nude reveal.

...Foxes aren't very good at peeking. I retorted watching the red ears poking out of corners or fur.

"Sorry, guys, but no peeping!" I ordered glancing back.

""Awww!!! Son of a... Why do you care? He orders too much..."" The men grumbled unwillingly.

"We'll take care of the perverts." A vixen declared out of sight and the commotion increased.

""Oww, my tail... Don't jank it! Wai-wai-wait! Argh! Don't bite! Come on! Release me, vixen!"" The peepers complain as they get dragged or carried away by the fox beasts.

"Honestly... Why are all males hypnotized by the chest of this vixen??!!" Karla pinched her nose bridge and complained pointing down.

"Erm... It's humongous...?" I affirmed looking back and forth between the two.

"HMM??" She threw an ice glare with killing intent.

"Y-y-you're sexy too!" I appraised stuttering while looking at her bosom.

"Hmph! I don't want a beast's pity." The dark-skinned vixen harrumphed and crossed the arms under her C-sized breasts making them bounce up. "But...we can have fun if you ever become a Divine with a humanoid body~" She enticed placing a fingertip on her lips and winked at me.

"Yes, I'm serious. But any children stays in my Tribe..." She reaffirmed and declared looking at the green fox.

"...The hell...!?!?" I retorted disturbed and twisted my lips with a half-open mouth and eyes.

"Mating rules..." The green fox interjected. "I had to give birth many times to Firefoxes before being allowed to keep offsprings..." She explained with a self-pitiful expression.

"I see... That explains them having human parents... Affinity can be used to bargain sex, huh?" I muttered contemplating hearing departing paw steps.

"VIRGIN LIZAAAaard!" The spear user yelled as his voice fades.

"FUCK YOUuu!" I turned back and called out only to see him enter the wolf wall on top of his partner.

"Pfft! Brats..." Karla held her laugh musing while I turned to the front. "Hey, want to graduate from being a virgin? How about mating with Zhanura there...?" She called out and offered, pointing behind me.

"HYUOOHH??!" The red-coated vixen sounded alarmed and puffed her tail with widened eyes.

*Swiiss! Swish!* Zhanura shook her head sideways like a fan and stepped back showing how thrilled she was with the idea.

"Uhh... You reaaally want to breed us like horses..." I asserted slanting my eyes in disapproval.

"Some males would be excited about it..." Karla affirmed shrugging.

"Uh-huh..." I mumbled in displeasure and review.

Ugh... It looks like I need to act more like a dumb beast and find a way to fake my rank before going to the capital... I determined the need to avoid trouble and turn right.

"Karla, be a dear and strip her upper clothes carefully. She has two broken ribs..." I asked a favor pointing at the sleeping firefox with a claw.

"...Hm?" The dark-skinned woman exchanged looks with the green fox who approved, and crouched unwillingly. "Fine..." She accepted and kneeled on the ground.

*Grish! Sssk! Zuku... Shaa~ Fwsh! Fwsh!* The dark-skinned fox took the vest off and folded the T-shirt on the side, then unwrapped a long fabric setting loose two massive breasts that expanded to the sides bouncing while thick nipples wiggle with large rosy areolas. *Zuu... Pomf!* The vixen was lowered gently on the dirt and the large breasts bulged over the torso with a firm constitution maintaining the round shapes as the Sun radiates the glossy white skin and cast shadows on her slightly muscular belly.

*Bwuomm! Boom! Fwoosshh!* The firefox created two explosions that rocked my head like a hammer before setting me ablaze for a few seconds. However, I was prepared for retaliation and countered with water magic. *KSSsshhhh!* A column of vapor rose as the layer of ice covering my scales vaporized slightly and opened my mouth slowly drooling over the girl's pants.

"Grrr... Heinous beast... Off with you!" Ayumi threatened while crawling away to the East before sitting up and pointed her hands at me.

*Friusshh!* The firefox ignited an enlarging blue ball glowing in front of the head.

"Grriiishhh!" I hissed and retreated.

"Well, that was dumb... Almost got your breasts ripped off..." Karla criticized narrowing her eyes disappointed.

"Mguh!!" The fox woman on the ground shivered and sounded before looking to her left.

"Miss Ayumi! It's gonna be alright..." The green fox called out and assured.

"R-Ramika...?" Ayumi followed the voice to look at the green fox in shackles behind. "Ramika! H-how did we survive? What happened...?!" She inquired taking a look around as her eyes opened wide under the glare of many high rankings wolves.

"After shaking off the two wolves latching on me, I managed to pull you out of the fight in my mouth, but we were captured and dragged here." The wind user narrated and lowered her ears.

"You RAN?!" Ayumi accused and crossed her legs while pressing the left hand on the side with the broken ribs.

"I-I had no choice... You didn't wake up, and your mother made me promise..." She replied stammering embarrassed.

"Haa... Yeah..." The fox woman sighed making her wet breasts shining in the sun wiggle. "Silly me jumping off you during a clash. I truly am lacking experience. It's a miracle that I didn't die." She affirmed and dismissed the fire magic.

Amazing... Those monstrous melons refuse to be saggy even when she's standing up... I contemplated the foxy figure while a murmur from behind indicates some foxes stayed.

"Nah... You did pretty well from what I've heard." Karla waved a hand dismissing and encouraged without receiving attention.

"Forgive me... I have been away from combat too long...my reaction was too slow..." Ramika apologized flexing a foreleg.

"You didn't have to participate in the invasion while pregnant!" The vixen leader admonished pointing at the belly of the beast.

"I-I had to... Miss Ayumi needed the merits. Hopefully, a beast worthy of her will be born now." The green fox announced her duties sternly.

"Eh...? Be-because of my selfishness...you...?" The girl realized her faults and changed her expression to that of guilt. "Ramika... I'm so sorry... I... I didn't think how troubled others would be because of my selfish demands... I'm sorry..." She reflected gripping the right fist strongly while looking down and extended the right arm to cratch the lower jaw of the green fox.

"Miss... A good girl like you has the right to be selfish..." Ramika asserted with a kind gaze.

"I'm glat that the spoiled miss learned self-awareness, but this isn't the time and place for a touching moment..." Karla reminded with a sarcastic tone.

"...AH!" The girl uttered shyly and tried to cover her breasts but only censored her nipples.

"Puahaha! When your breasts are too big to hide with your own arms..." I interrupted mocking the futile actions.

*Friusshh!* The fire user ignited another blue blaze between us annoying me.

"M-miss... Don't resist... We're prisoners." The green fox soothed.

"That doesn't mean they get to do what they want--!" She declared clenching her fists.

*Bwuash! FSSssshhh!* I mobilized water magic and threw a few buckets worth of water putting out the blaze, and soaking the half-naked vixen before shooting lightning bolts. *Brrrzzzzshoom! Flump!* The electricity ran on the wet person making her body contort and jerk on the ground.

"G-g-gyaAAARGH!!" Ayumi screeched convulsing on the soaked dirt and tried to endure until my torment stopped. "Haa... Haa... Ack... It hurtzz... Ugh..." She panted and twitched curled up while complaining in pain.

"YOU LIAR!" The green fox barked using wind magic and blowing dust away.

""GRRAAWARR!!!"" The wolves became rowdy making the fox shrink showing submissive body language.

"Dragon! Don't let them treat you like that!" Wuenia lectures and comes to the green fox's left side. "We can only endure so much disrespect... Don't forget these very foxes have killed our kind one way or another, and each one of us would enjoy mauling them slowly!" She lectured snapping at the green vixen.

""Yeah! What she said! Don't play with the foxes! Throw them away or eat them and play with us already!"" The canines voiced out and threatened while showing their fangs.

"Uhh... Easy guys... Eeeeasy~ I'm almost done..." I growled back subduing and moving my tail to the left in front of them.

"Eh? Eh? W-wha--are they saying?!" The unruly vixen faltered looking around as her ears flicker comically.

"Probably something like 'She dared to be rude to our mighty leader. We must eat the evil Fox that killed many of us!'" Karla assumed with ridiculing mannerism.

"Wao... Are you a psychic? They are envious and want to rip her apart indeed..." I looked at the dark-skinned woman admiring and added.

"Eh? D-don't let them! I-I lost my father and brothers to them and I didn't go killing random wolves because of it!" Ayumi stammered and pleaded nervously as her gaze darted around.

"Heeh~ You aren't so bad, huh?" I mused with a smile before nodding approvingly. "Alright... I won't mistreat you anymore--IF you let me meet the owner of that strong scent left on your chest. Pleeeaaase~" I compromised making puppy eyes and blinking at her pleading.

"Hmm..." The red-haired fox looked down at her chest pondering and lifted her gaze. "Wh-what are you talking about? Didn't she undress me? Why don't you lick her?" She questioned glancing to her left.

"This bitch..." Karla grumbled barely audibly and crossed her arms looking down. "It's best for everyone if you just stop trying to fool a beast's senses. He sniffed the scent on those needlessly large bulges long before Ramika appeared allegedly." She admonished narrowing her eyes with arms crossed and tapping a finger.

"Ugh... Is...is that so..." The half-naked girl acknowledged averting her gaze and lowering her ears.

"You also suck at lying." I poked fun grinning.

"Urgh! Shu-shut up!" She disgruntled twisting her face irritated.

"And I was sensitive not revealing that you had intimate contact with a young female on your chest, but I can be more specific if you need..." I threatened, fixing my gaze on her face.

"Aarrgggh..." Ayumi grunted, then turned away lowering her ears and curled while cooling the wet tail around her butt as if wanting to disappear.

"Haaf~! Are those activities the reason Miss Ayumi rejects the young Lord Zorbaz?" The vixen on my right gasped and questioned covering her mouth while making a sneer causing a murmur on the remaining foxes.

"Well, I don't care about you or what a little girl did on your chest, but I am interested in her," I announced impartially.

"...Why?" The crouching girl asked looking up with squinty eyes.

"Well... I find the Plain Dragons the tastiest, then Kerbos, Humans, Rodents, Snakes, Foxes, and lastly Wolves." I thought back comparing.

"You eat just about everything, eh?" The dark-skinned vixen interjected raising an eyebrow.

"W-why are you making a scale of taste?" Ayumi questioned fearfully.

"Because whatever left that scent on you tastes way better than Plain Dragons! It's the Cake-equivalent of raw Meat, for heaven's sake!" I declared looking up while recalling and picked my lips.

"..." The busty female bit her lips with a darkened face.

"I haven't eaten Cake in years..." Karla muttered and swallowed. "But Stormy, why is it that no other beast smells the scent like you?" She wondered after confirming with her partner beast.

"That's what I want to know." I reaffirmed looking down with urgency but the vixen maintained her silence. "Not talking, huh?" I questioned one last time staring each other. "Well, I will not be denied that flavor! I'll find a way..." I declared looming over the half-naked vixen.

"N-NO!" Ayumi shouted as her face contorted in disgust.

"You can stop this any time," I said in a stern tone while approaching her.

"UUuurghh... Hateful... You'll regret this!" She cringed and muttered while laying down.

-3D POV-

Three low-ranking wolves advance on a beast path at a slow pace towards the beast gathering at the mana vein entrance while pulling three improvised 2-wheel carts carrying heaps of metal. In front of the trio, a nearly 3 meters tall pure white wolf with blue spots pulls the heaviest load with metal harnesses and carries a thin girl covered in a white wolf coat as she practiced magic.

*Kree! Kree! Kree! Klarsh! Klrash!* The metal wheels of the heavy trolleys screeched leaving two marks on the dirt as the near 2-meter tall metal scraps bounce and sway on top. *Shiiiing!* The light user held a flickering inch-thick shiny rod in the right hand and gripped the white fur with her left. *Zriiririuuu...* The light spear turned into flickering particles before vanishing.

"DAaaARrgh! Daaaamn it! Failed... Eeechh! So painful...as if my hand is being eaten by insects..." The girl cursed and trembled holding her right hand riddled with tiny holes carved all the way through. "Lightwater, heal meeeee..." She growled requesting the healer wolf hurriedly.

"Whuu... Please stop hurting yourself..." The wolf whimpered flattening his ears and pleaded with concern.

"Can't! 'No pain, no gain' was his lesson. I must be worthy to be by his side..." She growled back rebuking.

I can't waste any time... We already fell victims to human plots and barely made it out... I mustn't be a burden again or the past despairs will repeat--No... This time the stakes are even higher... I have to steel myself... Fu~uh! How ironic. First I had to endure his pervertedness, then let him brainwash me, and now, I have to be his emotional support... The little girl determined, feeling her hands warming up with an itch as the bleeding stopped.

"But... But I need my Mana to heal the injured fighters and the dragon will get angry that you didn't do as he said." The white wolf argued.

"Shut it! He's not the boss of me!" Shimmer reproved growling and pulling at the fur.

"Yes, Shimmer..." Lightwater obeyed and kept quiet.

"I'm going to punish him... I am sooooo going to punish him with the thing he hates the most... Huk Huk Huk~" She grumbled thinking of the purple-blue young dragon.

"Her mood keeps getting worse..." The green wolf on right commented glancing to her side.

"Huu? Well, of course, she was left behind without food or cover...must be tough not having fur anymore... And you kept teasing about eating her." The golden wolf on the left reproved.

"Hunf! Not my fault the dragon left her with us and didn't say how to treat her..." The wind user snorted and dismissed.

"He abandoned me there because I'm useless!" The poorly-dressed girl shouted.

"It was dangerous, Shimmer. I couldn't sleep thinking of mother either. I'm glad everything ended well..." The earth user reasoned looking into the distance hoping to see his mother soon.

"You pup!" The green wolf rebuked and looked up. "I don't get your obsession with the dragon. It's only been 3 days." She asked the white-haired girl.

"Three days without hearing stories, exchanging ideas or snuggling our spirit, is too long!" Shimmer announced out loud before needing to catch her breath.

Hmph! How can I not miss him? Every piece of knowledge imparted by Nefi shapes me just as he said it would... Yes... And thinking back...just hearing that my pet was from another world and that we shared lives together was the most interesting thing ever! Still is... But I was also naive for believing everything so easily... Well, for me who spent my whole life between all sorts of walls, there was no better dream than having all my expectations surpassed, and everything that happened...feels like a dream already. How long has it been since I was this happy? Eeek~ The girl pondered with a wide smile and cloudy eyes wanting to shriek.

"Ah! I get it now... You are addicted to that weirdo..." The green beast teased.

"Ergh!" Shaila flinched and hid beneath the coat.

"But what's up with rubbing Spirit all the time? There's no clash between mate and I, but that still feels uncomfortable." The wind user wondered looking at the golden wolf.

"Tell me about it... I always have to be in contact with other Spirits, and it's never pleasant, but I can tell you that some individuals have better compatibility than others. Like...an old beast couple..." The healer affirmed giving an example.

"Agreed... But the Spirit wants to be left alone for a reason. It's the natural way." The golden beast declared with a stern growl.

"What do you mean?" Shimmer asked as her face transforms into caution.

"Well, think about it... If two Spirits want to be together, then what would happen if their Divine Souls get closer?" He replied with a question.

"Hnnng... With no resistance... Maybe stick together? Hmmm..." The girl thought hard with eyes closed and hand on her lips before gasping. "HAAF! Mash together into one accidentally?? That's terrible! How am I suppose to enjoy Nefi if we become one?!" She hypothesized the possible outcomes and narrowed her eyes asking nowhere particularly.

"Ah, that too...maybe... But I was thinking more about losing memories and magic progress. Well, it's all pure speculation, but it must not be known for a reason...it probably can't be good." Midas asserted recalling his mother's lessons.

"That's true... Although worrisome for a different reason..." The girl muttered concerned about their mutual enemy.

"Hey, Shimmer, I...I think the stupid dragon is right about you reaching the next soul stage first. You have a much higher chance at your current rank than other beasts, no? What you are trying to do will be easier with greater magic control and fewer risks..." Raging Wind acknowledged and advice.

"Mate is right. Forcing Magic like you are doing can be disastrous. I've seen others die by their own magic before. It's best not to rush magic progress sometimes..." The golden wolf approved, then added.

"True... But no risk, no reward. That's how I discovered solid light, you know?" Shaila thought for a moment and announced scratching the white wolf's back.

"Yes, teacher... It is an impressive ability, but the Light rays are piercing your body and my hide... I don't mind, but what if one of the rays goes to your head?" He reasoned glancing back.

"Geh! You...you have a point, Lightwater. Sorry..." She apologized and continued petting the caring beast while the other two sighed relieved.

I suppose there's something less harmful that I can try... The girl thought and retracted her magic to the head. Ever since Nefi confirmed two more grades above High Affinity, I've been wondering about my Grand Affinity perks. Acquiring elementals faster is something we have in common, so it's probably a passive privilege, but what about something like his mental boost? Maybe reincarnation deactivated a process? What am I missing to qualify for Heard? Nothing works... Is Light Affinity just...stingy? My active perk must be in the head as well, so what should I command the Elementals to activate? The light user contemplated and attempted to find a method within a safety margin not knowing what awaited her ahead.
