-Midday. 3RD POV-

A golden wolf enveloped in a sand cloud moving uphill to the south completed her preparations a hundred meters away from the group of four high-ranking beasts and five foxmen, then continued approaching looking as docile as possible. However, the foxes who anticipated the return of the Elder wolf and prepared instead of partaking in other fights quickly detected her presence but allowed the proximity.

"See...? Didn't I say She'd be back?" The archer, Xioyu proudly declared holding a 2-meter long metal bow while riding a fox beast on the East with injuries in his forelegs.

"I-I can't believe she survived something like that and casually returned to finish us off..." A Rank 8 commented holding a long sword with a chain in the handle while riding the middle beast to the left who followed up.

"Wouldn't have been better to overwhelm her with numbers? The four of us barely recovered from our wounds enough to walk..." A 4-meter tall Upper-Rank 7 fox beast suggested and stopped under a glare.

"..." The Fox leader wearing a deformed armor and riding the second beast from the East stays silent with an ugly expression.

"HA! She. Killing. Us? Dream on! That Elder couldn't do that before receiving all those injuries and exhausting her mana." The spear user derided gripping his new weapon atop of a red-coated beast on the west.

"Yeah! She came back to die. We just have to do our best." The western high-ranked red fox carrying a pack of lances on his saddle agreed with his partner.

"Hmm... I believe we have prepared more than enough to kill her, and they don't dare confront us..." Xioyu thought for a moment and affirmed looking back at the wolves who observe from afar. "However, I don't believe that she came back to surrender or simply die... Let's be careful." He cautioned switching his gaze back to the group.

"Nah! She must've thought something dumb like rushing back before we recovered since we did look like shit earlier..." Yero asserted glancing back at the crater for a moment and confirmed his halved magic reserves. "But too bad~ We are in good condition now. Though Mana crystals ran out..." He announced cheerfully.

The ears of the armored shield bearer standing on the ground six meters in front of the group twitched and turned around with an ugly face snapping.

"Speak for yourself!" The elderly fox reproached with a deep tone and glare which conveyed his anger. "...I lost something precious too." He muttered with ears flopped and turned to the front recalling his empty crotch.

""..."" The others put on troubled expressions forced into silence.

"Partner... The hope of having more children isn't lost to you yet... But not all of us are that fortunate." The old beast carrying the fox leader admonished.

"...It was a mistake offering the mercy of living as my pet rather than dying needlessly, but she returned that kindness with a vile act!" The rank 10 declared regretfully and firmly clenched his Axe with the right hand trembling while emitting pure bloodlust.

Damn it, Beluko... I know he lost a lifetime companion, but what about unborn children...? Hazel shivered feeling a cold on his back and grumbled before speaking out.

"Gohon! Yes, we should kill her slowly, and agonizingly..." The elder fox suggested as his mouth twisted in a humorless smile.

"Mn... She deserves unimaginable suffering. But our mission comes first even if she gets a quick death. That ... would hurt them more than anything." Zarion announced and gnawed his teeth with an ugly expression.

""YEAH!!"" The foxes said in unison and mobilized magic outside their bodies.

The she-wolf noticed the agitated beasts and the wicked intentions in the magic clash suppressing her from all directions which increased the closer she got to the 9 foxes and dismissed her cover as they prepared a combined attack.

*Thwuarrsh!* The Upper-Rank 9 golden beast stopped at 25 meters away from the red beasts lined up at the edge of a 30-meter wide crater.

Hum... I can't believe they let me get this close, but the accuracy from here will still be horrendous. No matter... It seems they are done complaining and will attack soon... Huh? Of course, they had more weapons... Erina determined scrutinizing her enemies as she waited for them to attack and noticed the equipment on their partners. Aaaaany time now... Wait... Where are their Earth users? The she-wolf tilted her head wondering and glanced at the trench uphill to the west confirming it was empty. Don't tell me... The mana vein...!? She realized and looked further southwest into the distance.

"HA! Did she notice we are sealing the Mana vein to kill that coward Matriarch?" The spear user smacked his lips ridiculing

...Not with holes for oxygen and earth users inside, she won't. It'd be embarrassing knowing they're imitating Nefiru... These foxes keep looking less impressive ever since He appeared. The golden beast retorted with contempt.

"That's right~ No help is coming. It's just you, the wolves exhausting their magic and us..." The archer affirmed making a smug smiled and nodded slightly.

I... wouldn't be so sure about that... The she-wolf asserted noticing a repeating twinkling light from the hilltop. If that's who I think it is...He shouldn't be here! I can't protect low ranks with my magic overpowered... Urgh... I'm gonna have to take down the Rank 10 first and assert magical dominance before the foxes discover that dummy! Fortunately, the firefox isn't flying... She concluded changing tactics.

"You bitch!" The elderly fox called out hatefully and pointed a short sword held in the left hand at the wolf. "After we're done with you, we'll sniff out your descendants to make them suffer, and then, castrate all survivors before turning them into slaves!" He announced before lowering the weapon.

Hm? He's mad...or should I say, former 'him'? Huhu... The golden beast mused. They seem to be taunting me to rush in, but this wolf isn't falling for that again! Yes... He said to pay more attention to motives... She affirmed and advanced slowly while probing the ground.

*Thwuarsh! Thwuarsh!* The golden beast took two steps shifting the magic energies and stopped before they settled again a couple of meters close

As I thought. There are pockets of something underground that I can't absorb... It's been a while since they resorted to Minefields...it'd be bad if I got closer--Hm!!? Erina analyzed when she noticed magic energies thicker behind her and crouched while commanding elementals.

"Gah! She found out..." The firefox leader scowled saying and pointed his arm at the wolf slowly below. "DO IT!" He commanded the activation of their combined magic.

*KrrrruUMM!* A wall of stone started growing from the ground behind the golden wolf while a sphere of chemicals enlarged rapidly to half a meter with rotating streaks of fire. *KRA-BOOMM!* The explosive ball detonated before the stone wall could cover the wolf completely and broke pieces of it sending them flying as projectiles to her back. *Shrriash! Zuiiing! Shriakk! Tak! Tororo... Pssshh...* The sharp rocks slashed the golden fur and charred patches on the wolf's back before touching down uphill.

"HYAK!" Erina yelped after being shaken by the blast and remained crouched as the dust settled on her wounds.

Arrgh... They tried to blow my ass! Foxes... The she-wolf conjectured and gave them a stare of disapproval after the dust and smoke cleared.

"Grrr! I don't want to see that look..." The rank 10 Foxman disgruntled griping strongly the saddle horn with the left hand. "Release the smoke and get ready! Hazel..." He ordered and called out the older Foxman who nodded with his helmet.

*SwoooOOOOH!* A dark smoke cloud appeared around the she-wolf and expanded in all directions forming a 40-meter wide black dome in seconds.

What a weird excuse to blind me... Erina retorted and tensed up preparing magic. But they are coming...I can't mess up anymore. Focus... Focus on the ground vibrations and sounds... She said to herself and closed her eyes concentrating.

*Clack! Kling! Ka-chik! Trraksh! Swop! Fwoop! Fruush!* The four riders readied their weapons coating them on fire while the armored Foxman on the ground adjusted the curved shield as large as his torso and grasped the short sword on the left pointing at the ground. *Klarsh! Klarsh! Kla-rash! Kla-rash!* The shield bearer started picking up speed downhill towards the unmoving magic territory on the north.

"You all know what to do..." Zarion reminded lowering his upper body and sensing where his probe is blocked. "GO!" He ordered and started playing in his head the scenario that was about to unfold.

""HOOOO!"" The foxes shouted and entered the smoke cloud sensing heat sources with their magic.

*Prash! Pa-rash! Shurururu...* The East and Western beasts peeled away from the formation doing a wide arch towards the wolf's flanks while the two middle ones speed up approaching the marching fox's sides. *Swup! FriuussSSHH!* The rank 10 firefox crouched on the saddle clenching the double-bladed Axe with both hands to his back and jumped high up while igniting two blue fire jets under the steel boots.

Oh! I know that sound very well... It's the flying fox! The she-wolf identified when she detected the shield bearer entering her shrinking magic territory first. Ugh... You aren't a priority...go away! She affirmed and look up at the sky to the south while commanding elementals on her neck.

"HOU!" Hazel yelled lifting the short sword to the right while coating the blade in compressed chemicals.

*Krrraram...* A coat of stone grew on the golden fur as the firefox swung diagonally releasing the controlled combustion at the wolf's neck and repeated the process. *ShiiuUU--FWOOM! SHOOM!* The crescent-shaped high-temperature blue fires landed on the stone shield and eroded it as soon as regrew but the fox wasn't giving up on the weak point.

"DIIEE!!" The rank 10 declared and ignited a dozen tiny reactive balls on the Axe held up high.

*FriUUSSHH!! Bang! Bang! Bang!* The powerful little explosions accelerated the heavy two-handed Axe downwards as the shockwaves leave behind a series of white loops and smoke trails.

Again...!? Do they think blocking my magic and having armors will protect them? Hmph! Know despair then... Erina thought with indignation and opened her mouth aiming four of the six metal tubes at the hazy airborne fox.

*BANG!!!* The earthen wolf fired four simultaneous shots at the exposed chest becoming increasingly visible within the smoke. *KRUNK!! Pe-shun!!* Two metal bullets perforated the armor in the torso and pierced the flesh while splintering ribs in their path before bursting through the back armor again leaving finger-wide holes.

"GUAH!!?" Zarion let out a pained sound unsure of what happened and lost control slightly driving the large Axe towards the wolf's head just two meters below.

*Swiss~ FWOOM! SHOOM!* The she-wolf willed her rigid neck coated in stone to turn left while the fox on the ground attacked it from the right. *SWOOONG!* The double-bladed weapon coated in blue flames descended with tremendous force as the golden head moved out of the way and the heat glow from the bottom edge shone into the golden eye as it passed close by. *Shuing! Ksshh! THONK! Pa-krash!* The crescent blades singed the golden fur on the right cheek and impacted the rocky ground below, sending debris flying before lodging at the bottom of a meter-wide crater.

"GRAAH!" The rank 10 firefox blurted frustrated and stopped the fire jets on his feet while stabilizing his body.

*Friushh... Thump! Kra--Rak! Shruu--WHOOSH!* The axe-wielder landed and pulled out his weapon doing an uppercut swing from left to right while the she-wolf lowered her head. *KLANG! KLANG! KRUAK! SHOOM! SHROOM!* The two foxes kept hacking at the earthen shield around the slow-moving wolf's neck as she prepared for the incoming beasts until it cracked. *Krarak! Krrruuusshh! Thom! Thonk! Tararak!* The stone protection broke into pieces and crumbled exposing the golden fur but the two foxes stopped attacking and dashed around the wolf.

"Hruff! Hruff! Guh-uh... Wha... was that...? Ugh..." The fox leader panted with sluggish movements going around the beast's right side while dragging the great Axe and leaving a blood trail.

I should've made bigger bullets... Erina retorted glancing at he wounded Rank 10 and sent Magic underground predicting the enemy's movements.

*Thu-rush! Thu-rush! Fwuap! Fwuap!* The two middle red foxes draw closer to the she-wolf tilting their heads in opposite directions and opening their mouth. *Fwooosh! Cling! Clink!* The rider on the western beast gripped the chain thinner than his fingers with the left hand while increasing the flames on the chained sword and held it to the back before standing up.

"HUA!" The firefox shouted hurdling his weapon with high velocity at the golden right eye staring at him through the smog.

*SwoOSH! Shriririk~* The chained long sword flew enveloped in flames while the two foxes on the ground positioned themselves behind the wolf's forelegs. *ShiiuUU! FWOOSH!* The shield bearer slashed his short sword at the wrist joint three meters away forming crescent-shaped high-temperature blazes. *Thump! Swhooo~* The fox leader gathered his strength suppressing the internal bleeding with magic and stomped the ground before doing a horizontal swing from his left to the wolf's right foreleg.

Arrrrgh! Erina endured the barrage on the foreleg and created a layer of hard materials on her forehead while tilting right.

*Shierrrk--Twuank! Shriririek!* The blade bounced at a shallow angle off the growing smooth stone and the firefox janked the 10-meter long chain back as the she-wolf lifted her head. *Shurururu... Chrrrrk!* The earthen wolf finished softening the ground on the path of the two foxes lashing out while shifting the axe wielder's foothold and opened her mouth aiming the makeshift firearm at the southwest firefox. *BANG!! KRUNK! KA-Chank!* The she-wolf fired the last two shots at the rider on her right piercing all the way through the chest armor and perforated the right lung as the other bullet impacted the chain loops in his hand breaking segments linked to the sword.

"Uwuo!?" Zarion uttered losing his center of gravity mid-swing and toppled down with the axe merely scraping the golden fur.

"GA-hack!" The longsword fighter coughed in agony with a floating sensation as he fell off the fox beast towards the southwest.

*Klarsh! Clang! THUMP! Kla-rash! Klarsh!* The fox leader fell on his back his weapon touched down pointing south before the falling rider slammed onto the barren hillside along with his sword. *Whisshh!!* The sharp fox fangs whistle through the air approaching the golden neck when their bodies lowered and quickly reacted by slamming their hind paws to stop which they'll soon find out to be futile. *Srrrchhh!! DRRASSH!!* The two fox beasts sank their forelegs into the softened ground up to the forechest while slowing down as if caught in a mire that solidified soon after.

""JYARGH! JYARP!"" The two buried foxes yelped struggling to pull out of the trap.

"HYAK!" The golden beast wailed from the searing wound on the left foreleg getting bigger as she was unable to interrupt nor dodge the fiery barrage of the low ranked shield bearer.

"Suffer! Suffer! Suffer!" Hazel said with hatred brandishing the short sword from a distance and repeating the intense attacks which drained his mana at a rapid pace.

"Ugh..." Zarion groaned getting up with a lot of effort containing the bleedings and seeping Magic underground to keep the wolf from manipulating it.

Grrrragh... It hurts! And my mana... Ugh! Is almost depleted and he's STILL alive! Erina lamented agonizingly while glancing at the rank 10 fox and sent her magic deeper underground where it wasn't suppressed. I don't know why we never came up with these things... She recalled the piece of knowledge and created a 2- meter long vertical rock lance 2-inch thick with spiral grooves and a metallic drill tip.

*Fwiiiiinnn!* The she-wolf spun the screwed lance with a hundred revolutions per minute and pushed upwards as much as elementals allowed. *Krrrrorororumm!* The sturdy lance bore through more than a meter of rocks and dirt while the large wolf lifted her right forepaw towards the sitting firefox. *Swip! Whoosh!* The large wolf body rested its weight on the left foreleg barely holding on before shifting to the right where the right paw loomed over the armored firefox.

"Huh...!?" Zarion looked up watching the canine pads descending on him and pulled the Axe to his chest blocking with both arms by reflex while the vertical blade provided leverage.

*Swoop! Ka-Chierrk! Krrruak!* The wolf paw pushed axe handle along with the Foxman back down while the drill bit surfaced at his back. *KRREONKK!* The lance tip was forced through the armored magician's back breaking bones and churning his insides into a fleshy mess.

"AAA--!" The Rank 10 firefox bellowed shortly before his trachea was crushed and lost the strength to keep the large paw away.

*KreeEEK!* The chest plate of the horizontal Foxman creaked and dented from the frontal mass of the 5-meter tall wolf resting on it while she lifted the left foreleg to kick the shield bearer. *FWOoosh! Swoop! Ka-chik!* The firefox stopped his attacks and blocked the incoming dangling wrist with the shield. *PANG! Klarrcchhh...* The armored person skids on the ground to the northeast with a low posture.

"GUH!" Hazel sounded coming to a stop and lowered the shield relaxing his trembling arm while taking some distance. "Peh! Mana is near depleted..." He spat after checking his reserves.

Where is Zarion? He wasn't done in by a rock projectile, was he? The shield bearer wondered unable to probe closer from where he stood a couple of meters behind the wolf's left hind leg.

"Uk...urg...ua..." The fox leader retched on the ground looking at the hazy sky through the smog feeling the cold embrace of death and commanded the Elementals to rampage.

*Chiiium!* The fire elementals greedily devoured the fox's mana attached to his Spirit and formed an explosive chemical ball half a meter wide on top of the wolf paw.

...Going out with a bang?! Blame your Rank that was a danger to Him... Erina promptly noticed and extended her frontal claws.

*ShriOK! KruRUNK! Blerrrt!* A metal claw larger than a human hand sank into the fox's face crushing the skull and spurting brain matter instantly ending his life. *Blorsh!* The tiny bits of magic holding the explosive fell apart and the flammable substance splashed on the golden fur without igniting.

""GWRRR!!"" The two trapped fox beasts growled up at the wolf suppressing their Magic and started preparing a breath attack without stopping the black smoke coming out of their bodies.

"U...urgh! Arr...gh..." The firefox uphill convulsed and gagged spewing blood as his right lung filled with blood.

"HUuuuf~ Now, it's safer..." The earthen beast sighed relieved and doing a victorious pose without extending her magic far.

However, the fight wasn't over. The wolf had neutralized most attackers in mere moments, but her resources were nearly depleted and was bleeding profoundly from the lacerated wrist on the left foreleg while the foxes doing flanking took longer to arrive at their designated positions.

*Thump! Klack! Chhhah!* A fox beast firmly stopped just outside the smoke cloud on the east and started filling arrows with explosives while the rider on its saddle readied the longbow and judged the distance to adjust the detonation timers. *Thu-rush! Thu-rush!* The fox beast circling around from the west helped refill hollow lances on its saddle with a flammable compound while the rider held one over his right shoulder as they rush at the wolf's right side.

...

The foxes were unable to detect the imperceptible Mana wave from the Rank 10 or probe because of the wolf's magic and visibility was bad inside the smog, but a Dragon with glowing eyes crouching atop of the hill watched their purple silhouettes clearly.

Ah! That's my cue... The purple-blue dragon with a metallic sheen on his scales determined and got up.

*Swip! ZUKU! Whoop!* The scaly creature wearing a shiny collar opened his wings spanning 15 meters and jumped off an elevation. *WiiiiSHH!* He glided downhill picking up speed towards the archer facing north over a hundred meters away preparing to fire left.

Come on... Come oooonnn... Don't expand your probes my way. Don't notice me halfway... The low-ranking beast concentrating on balancing his body prayed for a successful ambush and spread Light elementals over his body before redirecting the sunlight from above at the ground. Ugh... I should've practiced this more... I hope it can last long enough... He wished re-emitting the scattered light from the other angles which effectively removed his image from the hillside.

...

*Kreeeg! Fwuop! Tsuuuurgh!* The archer pulled the string as much as his arms allowed and created a fiery vortex around the meter-long steel arrow lowering the gas density without affecting the metal.

Hm? Why can't I sense Lord Zarion's Magic? Xioyu wondered after probing for the location of the wolf within the smog. How disturbing... But we must finish the fight regardless who dies... He affirmed acquiring the target and released the arrow.

*Pe-shuu! Swooh--Bwosh!* The string pulled the arrow into the conical flame vortex that shrank and compressed for an instant by the bow's handle forming three brilliant loops before spewing the projectile out explosively. *Friiiuuushh! Swisss~ Swisss~ Swisss~* The arrow shaft ignited mid-flight providing additional speed and kinetic energy zipping through the smog towards the golden wolf 25 meters away while the archer repeated the process. *Swisss--Shak! Shak! Shak! BANG! BANG! BANG!* Several arrowheads pierced the wolf hide on her left side and exploded sending shrapnel inside the flesh and flying outside while other arrows missed their target and exploded harmlessly on the ground.

"HYAAK!!" The she-wolf yelped while jerking her body on the spot and probed the archer riding a beast without being able to interrupt them.

"HA! Those are some nice screams!" Yero mocked closing in the wolf's side and ignited the hollow lance.

*FriuooOOSHH! Thu-rush! Thu-rush!* The javelin turned into a rocket and shoot out towards the beast's belly while the fox beast circled around to repeat the attack. *ShiAK! FWOoosh...* The spearhead pierced the hide and plunged half a feet deep into the flesh before the flames vanished and the shaft dropped sticking out of the golden fur.

"HYARGH!" Erina yowled twisting her body to the opposite side and could only endure being an easy target for lower ranks.

The shield bearer heard the attack resumed and lowered his body before charging with his shield in front and the sword pointing behind. *Thonk! Thonk!* The elder firefox stomped the ground leaving small craters with each step and raising dust clouds mixing with the smoke in the air.

"HAA!" Hazel yelled approaching the left hind leg and brought the sword to the front with a powerful slash at the wrist joint.

*ShrriAK! ShrriAK!* The shield bearer brandished his sword repeatedly widening the tear in the hide.

"GRAARR!" The she-wolf growled infuriated and kicked behind with the wounded hindleg.

"Ah!" The melee person noticed he had no time to dodge and changed his posture bringing the shield to the front before jumping back while bracing for impact.

*Whoop! PANG!* The firefox blocked the large paw with his shield and was sent flying a couple of meters whence he came. *Thump! Srrrrchhh...* He landed and skid downhill leaving two trenches over a meter long on the ground before stopping.

Sturdy pest... And why is Nefiru not coming directly to me? He wouldn't try to fight two Rank 8s that can kill a low rank instantly, would he...? Argh! He would! And I can't suppress them all... W-wha do I do?? Erina complained frustratingly after detecting the dragon gliding towards the duo ranged attackers preparing more explosive arrows. ...I know! I'll do the role of defender and let him attack... But I'll need more Mana... Suppressing with Spirit alone is twice as hard and moving targets are even worse. She determined, slipping her Spirit into the Dragon's collar where mana crystals were stored and at the center of her Core which contained a ball of stable Mana.

"Uuurgh!" The shield bearer got tired of waiting and shouted. "ATTACK! She's not using magic anymore..." He informed allies and waited for a response.

Grrr! I can't mold magic fast enough... The she-wolf affirmed and pulled the magic from all muscles as the last resort. Guah! H-heavy... How many years has it been since I felt the true weight of my body? She wondered trembling as if toppling down any moment and manipulated the metal inside her mouth.

*Krrrieek!! Schuak!* The makeshift firearm changed shape into two disks half a meter wide and half an inch thick before the wolf's jaws opened. *Swoosh! Swoosh!* The two metal disks flew out of the wolf's mouth and circled around to her left flank before hovering over the ripped hide from which blood leaked out and dyed the golden fur in red.

"Hoh? It seems we're doing it, Xidor!" The archer rejoiced after hearing the fellow tribesman.

"It looks that way... But Beluko and Daval are in trouble. Can you shoot at her head? I'll try to detonate the explosives we planted when she moves from there." The red fox beast acknowledged and directed.

"Yes, I got the general location now." Xioyu accepted focusing his senses through the smog. "But I think we should remove the smoke cloud already. It's just in the way." He suggested pulling the bowstring.

"I'll try to signal the others," Xidor responded and concentrated navigating the battlefield riddled with energy strings.

*Swisss~ Swisss~ Swisss~* Another set of sharp metallic arrows whistled through the air closing in the wolf's belly while she followed the trajectories. *Krang! Klang! Pa-kang! Swooosh!! Thud! Thud!* The steel arrows met the metal alloy disks floating a meter away from the she-wolf and pushed them back while stopping or bouncing off before falling down. *BANG! BANG! BANG!* The arrowheads exploded on the ground raising even more dust and smoke but the she-wolf didn't utter a sound.

"DAMN! She blocked them somehow. We need more firepower and a distraction. There are only a few arrows left..." Xioyu cursed and affirmed reaching for the quiver.

"...The big arrow? We already confirmed that wolf can't block all of us, so if we sync our attacks and you fire at the right time, your chances to hit her will increase tremendously." The beast suggested.

"Gnn... Yes. But the bow might break firing that thing, so we can't afford to miss. I don't have any swords..." The archer approved and grabbed an inch-thick hollow arrow of a tough alloy.

"Understood. I just made contact with the others and will signal them... I hope they remember those codes..." Xidor informed and commanded his magic slipping around the wolf's.

*Fwoop!!!* A flame shaped like a number and letters ignited in front of the other foxes informing them to do an all-out attack after a certain number of breaths.

"Ah! Yelmo!" The spear user deciphered the coded message and called out his partner. "I know you are hurt buddy and we're being careful of traps, but I'm gonna need you to push those legs a little more... We are doing a big one!" Yero urged his partner to attack without the hit and run tactic.

"Yes! I'm going in..." The beast affirmed and sped up towards the wolf while preparing magic into a fire breath.

"I guess we are ending this..." Hazel muttered and mobilized the last of his magic to the blade.

If I can sever enough muscles on the left hind leg, she'll fall to the side completely helpless even if the others miss... The shield bearer asserted and locked on his target.

*Klack! Kreeeg~ Fwuop! FriusSH!* The archer set the oversized metal arrow in the bow and pulled the string before igniting a fiery vortex extending for over a meter. *WiiiiSSHH!* The invisible dragon gliding downhill noisily gradually lost altitude with his camouflage flickering and Light elementals running out while the foxes finish their preparations right on schedule.

"...!! What's that sound??" Xioyu questioned the approaching noise as he took aim at the wolf's head.

"Ignore it! FIRE!" The beast synchronizing the group urged.

*KREE... PE-SHUN! FWUUP!* The archer trembled and the bow screeched from the stress caused by the imploding fire vortex before releasing the arrow that resembled a spear.
