Within the darkness, Luon heard a sound. The sound began to get more evident by the second, and at some point, he had recognized what the distinct sound was.
Luon convinced himself that he was dead, however, after hearing this sound he began to doubt himself.
“Seriously, is this heaven? Why does it sound like a urinal, do souls get flushed into the River of the Underworld?”
Slowly Luon was able to regain his bodily functions, and his vision was no longer dark, the sound of water being drained was from the transparent container that he found himself in.
The cylindrical shape of the container and the transparency of it, as if one can testify in the distance was very similar, if not exactly like those test-tube capsules often seen in sci-fi movies that he watched during his free time.
As for why he can get a clear view of the shape and structure of it, beyond this seemingly fragile, transparent material of the container were rows of capsules aligned and organized akin to capsule hotels featured in Japan, only everything looked more high-tech.
Attached to each capsule were pipes, more than likely used to drain the liquid outside of the container as well as an electronic display panel with something written on it. For some reason there was a conveyer belt in the middle of this small hallway, so instead of being a cute and comfy capsule hotel, it was like a factory.
“Where am I? The last thing I recalled was dying on Mars… Did someone save me and preserve my body? No way! Our technology wasn’t advanced enough in the medical field. Then is this the Inzektors base?”
As various thoughts and conjectures began to run within his mind, he noticed his bodies condition from the small reflection of the container.
“No way is that me? I look similar to my teenage years, but what’s with those eyes? Did those bastards do something to me?” Luon exclaimed.
“Hehe, I don’t know whom you're talking about, but I have just completed the procedure of your release, Mister Luon Fate.” Luon’s thought process immediately halted upon hearing those words as a small floating display panel, descended and hovered right in front of him.

‘Wow, she’s so beautiful... there’s no way she can be human. I mean look at that hair color and that facial structure, unless plastic surgery became more advanced, she must be one of those virtual idols that people spend lots of money on.’ Luon thought as he began to evaluate the beauty before him inwardly.
She had a pleasing smile and very flamboyant pink hair. Although her chest area is a tad modest, her facial structure was practically aligned to the golden ratio of beauty.
With a voice that can bring even auto-tuned singers to shame she politely said, “Good morning Luon Fate, I am glad to see that your awakening has been relatively peaceful. Before we have a productively long conversation on the current situation, I am going to align your Vortex Container to my designated assembly line. After several minutes, we can happily have a face to face discussion with some biscuits and tea.”
After those words, Luon’s capsule was soon placed on a track and began to move at the speed equivalent of 10km/hr. The floating monitor with the beauty in it led the way as if it was anchored to the container.
“Seeing how we have some free time before we can meet face to face. I can answer your most urgent concerns right away.”
Luon gave it some thought on what kind of questions he should ask. He then decided to go with the standard procedure of who, what, when, where, and why. Who was she? What is this place? When was he here and for how long? Where is this place? And why was he here?
The beauty with a professional smile, steadily answered each every single one of his concerns as if she’s experienced this situation almost a million times.
First off, she introduced herself as Isabella McFlair and her job was to make sure that the awakened do not become panicked, and rampage in the facilities and to introduce them to the world. She also mentions that her face and hair are all natural and that if Luon was asking these questions to garner her attention, then he should get better pick up lines because it wouldn’t work.
‘I’ve never had that much contact with the opposite gender, how am I supposed to know any pickup lines?’ Luon thought as he smiled wryly at the latter's narcissistic remark.

She then continued her explanation. This building is used to nurture, develop and facilitate a child's growth by utilizing various life simulations based on reality to accelerate their learning process. She also mentioned that Luon is currently 17 years old, which had shocked him because the last thing he can recall was dying at the age of 68.
As for a reason for why they were incubated.
There are many powerful beings in the universe and to be up to par with them, lifeforms from the Nexus solar system that Luon was in had to develop abilities beyond their age limitations.
The Alliance, the league of various powers consists of 4 different factions, they are:
The Intergalactic Federation, The Ark Judgement Empire, The Aqua Kingdom, and Avalon.
Although they are allied on the surface to face a more significant threat, they are very wary of each other and only maintain the balance due to trading resources and technology.
The more significant threat is named, Inzektors. No one knows where these humanoid insect beings came from or how many there are. Experts estimate that the Inzektors are in control of over 90% of the whole universe but there was no proof based on their speculation as it was only an estimate based on their numbers, and although many wild explorers claim to have traveled throughout the whole universe, no one believed their claims.
The remaining 10% of the universe, if the expert's guesses were correct, was divided equally by these superpowers, each of them dominated 4 solar systems.
Although vague because of lack of time to explain things adequately, Isabella briefly describes what each factions specialization.
The Nexus solar system that Luon was in was 1 of the 4 solar systems managed by the Intergalactic Federation. The Intergalactic Federation was known for the diversity of races and freedom of its citizens making each solar system unique in their way.
The Aqua Kingdom like in the name it has lorded over water-based solar systems specializing in sea creatures, serpents, and fish-like people. Many of which are believed to be descendants of the original Sea Emperor.
The Ark Judgement Kingdom was composed of 2 allied monarchs to make a higher power. On one side we have Demon King who ruled over the demonic creatures hosted within 2 solar systems. On the other side, we have the Angelic Lord who commands the angelic race owning the other 2 solar systems. Due to the long-lasting equilibrium between the two, they agreed to settle their differences creating an all-new force.
Last but not least Avalon. Filled with fantasy creatures and ruled by the Dragonic Lord, although every single faction is equal in resources and strength, this particular one if it had tried to, could have dominated the others.
The wise ruler, the Dragonic Lord, decided to opt to do so to prevent needless deaths before the threat of the Inzektor race, initiating the founding of the Alliance.
However even with the Alliance made the war with the Inzektors rages on. These rulers contemplated ways to advance onwards in hopes that one day they can create a new era.
With this in mind, the Demon King suggested that it was because of the lack of proper management over resources that the battle continued and pushed the notion of having only the best of the best make use of the biggest share of it.
Every superpower agreed with that idea, to give food and weapons to the powerless and useless folk? Not necessary - only with true power, determination and will can advancements in this war be made.
The Alliance Tournament, an annual battle between each solar system.
With the limitation on resources, each solar system is obligated to bet half of their resources produced that year as a prize for winners of the tournament.
There are only 16 group entries based on each solar system, and each solar system trains the majority of their youths through a militaristic structure otherwise known as, Battle Academies.
These candidates from the academies for the tournament must be less than 22 years old and have never participated before.
The competition is then fought and is divided into two different categories: Virtual Battles and Creative Engineering.
By the time Isabella finished answering Luon’s questions the pathway ahead was radiating with bright light.
“Okay, I’ll stop around here, in the next minute or so we will be meeting each other. Welcome to the world.” The display monitor floated upwards and left.
The Vortex Container entered the bright tunnel, and a new world appeared within Luon’s eyes.

Soo… Hello? Why am I doing this? Ugh… Anyway, name’s Sethsamm, no last name. Why you ask? Well… it all started with me waking up and having this holographic RPG-like window in front of me. Sounds like one of the many mangas’ I read, funny. So I got this window, then it explains that my life is now a video game. And then shit hits the hay… Starts up a bit slow, also a bit of wish fulfillment. Of course, there will be plot since I have a dislike for stories without plot, conflict, or even MC struggles. Not my story - written by isthatyoularry on Ao3Summary:It's Louis' senior year, and he's dead set on doing it right. However, along with his pair of cleats, a healthy dose of sarcasm and his ridiculous best friend, he's also got a complicated family, a terrifyingly uncertain future, and a mortal enemy making his life just that much worse. Mortal enemies "with benefits" was not exactly the plan.Or: The one where Louis and Harry definitely aren't friends, and football is everything.Disclaimer: None of this is real.
