Snort!

Boom!

Snort!

Boom! Boom!

After the explosion that startled all the tuskers, Andel’s position was discovered by the ancient boars. Maybe it was because he ‘reeked’ of tusker blood after killing so many of their species; not long after everyone gathered next to the corpse, they found him.

From then, they were trying everything to bring him down. And their method of achieving the same was bumping their heads on the steel pole. They even took turns to do so.

I have to say this metal is one sturdy piece of work.

More than eight tuskers were trying for a while, but the pole was yet to give in. their hard work only managed to flatten its base.

While looking at their futile attempt to bring him down, an idea popped into his head. With a devilish smirk, he gave a condescending look at the group of monsters before waving his hand before them in an attempt to attract their attention.

“What are you doing, you dumb fucks? Want to bring me down? With your limited intelligence, you can’t do that even if you try for a century.” Andel made faces in an attempt to piss them off even more.

His plan was simple, to make them go berserk and tire them out before killing them all one by one.

Snort!!

Clearly, he had overestimated the intelligence of these boars. His grand scheme of goading the beasts failed spectacularly.

Welp! Look like I have to do this the hard way.

By the ‘hard way’ Andel meant to go down and engage with them one by one.

Andel waited for a chance. But it never came. The tuskers soon lose their interest in him and instead began acting weird. They shuffled around and would snort often while looking at the direction of the wall of fire that was yet to extinguish.

Though, the heatwave had stopped coming.

Someone’s here!

For a brief second, Andel felt a presence beyond the walls of the parking lot. Even though the effect of Frenzy had long since diffused, his base stats befitting a level 5 Warrior allowed him to have acute senses.

Snort!!

Not long after him, the tuskers also found the intruder. They lost interest in him, and instead, all headed towards where they ‘smelled’ the new life signature. Demon beasts had acute senses, specifically their sense of smell. Even if the person was beyond the boundary, they still sniffed him/her out.

Who could it be? I hope it’s the person who made that fire pillar.

The fire had left a deep impression on him. He was at least 70% sure that the fire was made by a magician of Heaven stage or a Ki practitioner of the Grandmaster stage. Because, forget about a Warrior, even a Master that comes after Warrior couldn’t achieve such an astonishing feat.

“What the hell!! FUCK!” A male’s voice shouted from a distance, destroying all Andel’s expectations into smithereens. Moreover, to Andel, this male voice was very familiar. Though, he couldn’t recall the owner.

Boom!

Andel didn’t have to wonder for long. A lean young man in his late teens came running inside with a pack of angry tuskers following his ass. The distinct Mohawk haircut, coupled with a ripped jacket, announced his identity.

Isn’t that, Paul? What is he doing here?

It was indeed the very person who threw him the boxing gloves the first day they met. Although after defeating him, Andel completely forgot about his existence, he seems to have been meeting this little group one too many times today.

On the other hand, Paul was facing a critical problem. More than ten tuskers were on his ass, thirsty for his blood. It was figuratively saying, of course. It was a widely known fact that tuskers were vegetarian by nature. Moreover, it wasn’t about the choice of food. Rather, it was scientifically proved that meat is poisonous to their health.

The only reason for their aggression was, of course, humans.

Activating his Talent and watching his hand turning into that of a bird’s claw, confidence filled his heart. As a part of ‘morphing’ type Talent, it cost a lot of ki to transform and some to maintain it. As a level 6 Warrior, Paul didn’t lack ki, but it was impossible for him to fight so many tuskers at the same time without taking a break in between.

Everything was about ability, and he lacked it a lot.

His situation was similar to owning a Lamborghini but still lacking in significant driving skills to bring out its full potential.

Holy fuck! Where did that kid go?

Paul cursed in his head and ran for his life while zigzagging through the parked cars. The strategy he applied was similar to Andel.

Snort!!

Just then, a tusker came too close and was about to stab his back. However, as if he had eyes at the back of his head, Paul used one of the cars to jump up before ‘gliding’ in the sky to make some distance in-between them.

His talent was best suited for precision and speed, not brute force.

“Aim their eye part. That’s where they are weak.” Andel shouted after seeing Pual’s suffering.

“Hmm!” Hearing a kid’s voice, Paul turned around the voice’s direction and found Andel sitting on one metal poles on the roof. His eyes widened for the briefest second before a sharp look appeared on them. Using the bunnet of a pricey car as his footing, he leaped upwards like a monkey before managing to grab one of the metal poles on the roof.

Andel came closer and sat a little farther from where Paul hung.

“Why are you here?” He asked curiously. He didn’t see him among the ones who were standing close to the enforcers’ barricade.

“Trying to return a favor.” Paul made a face, then gritted his teeth before heaving himself up and adjusting into a sitting position like Andel.

“To whom?” Andel’s eyes didn’t leave the tuskers who seem to have regained their interest in the metal poles supporting the parking lot's roof. A few at the front even started bumping their heads against them.

“Holy shit!” Paul cursed like a sailor before grabbing the poles tighter. His face paled as sweat dripped from his brows. In his chest, his heart beat like a drum in a carnival. He even curled his leg around one of the poles.

“Don’t worry, it's safe here, for the time being, that is.” Andel comforted him after seeing him in a mess.

“You sure about that?” Paul asked for confirmation with his blue eyes shaking, almost begging.

“Yes. Don’t worry. They couldn’t break this pole. Even if they can, it won't bring down this whole roof.” Andel explained calmly before pointing towards the whole garage. “Look, how big it is.”

While Pual was busy inspecting whether Andel said the truth or not, the latter continued with his inquiry.

“So, whom did you want to return this favor in this situation?” With his eyes narrowed, his voice became serious and distant. Andel had his suspicion. Unless confirmed, he won't take out the possibility of 'seeking revenge' from the table.

After all, he did defeat and ‘humiliated’ him in the dojo.
