Andel couldn’t believe his eyes. He didn’t expect just a casual experiment of his would yield such a result. Though there was a special abilities panel on his system, since it was always empty, he never paid it any attention.

However, his system hadn’t finished surprising him.

‘Holy!’ Andel couldn’t stop himself from cursing out loud. Thankfully, the room he was in had good sound isolation. Or else, he would have definitely attracted the attention of Travis and Lilia.

Andel would have danced in glee, but he was just too tired even to move his hands and legs. For the time being, he settled for wiggling his eyebrows and smiling. Nonetheless, he knew, in a few minutes, he will be up and running. His upgraded regain rate will ensure that.

In these five years, due to killing a lot of small animals around Seras mansion, Andel saw explosive growth in his stats. But, it came to a screeching halt after they reached level 10. Until that, he would require only 1 Immunity Point to upgrade an Immunity. However, that increased drastically by five times after they reached level 10.

So from there, to reach from level 10 to level 11, five IPs are necessary.

Andel had to stop his rapid upgrading after discovering that. After all, killing ants and small critters could only amount to one IP. Just how much did he need to kill in order to max out an Immunity? Andel felt a headache upon thinking of this.

To achieve his dream of becoming an Invincible warrior, Andel realized that he had to step on to a bigger stage sooner than anticipated. The Seras Family was based in Warren. The city was pretty close to Elf Marsh.

As its name suggests, Elf Marsh wasn’t a place where humans lived. Three centuries ago, it was used to be a beautiful and prosperous city, and a part of the Uvriya Kingdom. One day, a weird incident happened. A plague erupted out of nowhere, changing all the inhabitants of the city into what today’s people called Elves. However, unlike the beautiful fantastical version of Earth, the elves of this world were ugly and vicious.

They eat anything that moves and were very powerful. From demon beasts to wild animals, to even humans, they ate anything and everything. Their individual strengths were nothing to scoff at either. And their most deadly aspect aside from their humanlike intelligence was their reproductivity. All in all, as far as he was concerned, Elves were an A-ranked threat that was found only in Elf Marsh.

The Uvriya Kingdom had stationed 10% of its military might just to defend the border between Uvriya and Elf Marsh. In this world, even though they all belong to the same dynasty, every kingdom had its own military, which acted as a part of the Slovac Dynasty. As a side effect, kingdoms battled against each other more often than not for lands and ruling rights. 

During the founding years of Uvriya, The Seras family was chosen to be the gatekeeper who guard those beasts called Elves.

Back then, Andel had three ways to go to collect the IPs. He could have joined the military of Uvriya. The second option was to join the militant troupe of the Seras family. Lastly, he could have applied to join the assassin. After considering for a while, he chose the assassin troupe.

The most glaring reason for the decision was that it had fewer politics involved than other paths.

Two minutes later, he was back to normal with his stamina refilled. Andel stood and did stretches to free his bones. After that, he would have liked to continue on the process, but he had other things to do.

After leaving his room, Andel arrived at the gym. There he saw Travis was streaking on the treadmill. On his head, instead of the Mexican hat, he wore a Mexico themed headband. He had earphones on to complete the sporty look.

Seeing that he was so busy, Andel didn’t linger around him. Instead, he zoomed towards the rack with dumbbells stacked on it. Out of all his attributes, Strength had the worst growth. Until now, he only practiced on skills and stamina. As a result, his strength attribute’s growth slowed down compared to others.

Now, after knowing the secret to farm his stats, how could Andel not take this chance to grow as much as possible!? And thus, he was here, at the gym, to try and lift weights. Skipping past 5 to 15 kg dumbbells, Andel grabbed the 20kg one. With a strength of 13 means, he could lift up to 1.3 times of his own body weight. He was currently ten years old physically with a bodyweight of 34kg. With 13 points, he should lift up to 45 kg. However, with Pain and Fatigue Immunities working together, that limit extended to 50.

Twenty kilograms was half of his limit. It would be best for what he was trying to achieve.

With a little effort, Andel lifted the dumbbell with both his hands. Standing on a basic Judo stance, he started to lift the dumbbell over his head and back to his chest. He repeated the process for almost fifteen minutes until he felt a little stinging pain in his straw-like biceps.

Enduring the small pain, he continued to lift the dumbbell. He had to reach his limit and break past it. Only then could he achieve his goal. Emptying his mind, Andel concentrated on the only task at hand.

“What is he doing?” Unknown to Andel, he had already gathered a small crowd comparing of Travis and Lilia around him. After watching him repeatedly do the same thing, Lilia asked out as she couldn’t understand Andel’s motive.

“Hmm! Maybe he is training his muscles?” Travis said unsurely. “Wait, do a ten years old kid even have muscles to train?” He asked back.

“Well, even with the ki in their system, the muscles start to grow after they hit their puberty,” Lilia answered like a knowledgeable know-it-all. “However, I am unsure about Andel.” She gave up when it involved Andel.

She only met him this morning, yet, her world views were constantly changing. She never believed that a mortal could defeat a ki practitioner twice of their age. However, Andel proved her wrong when he defeated Paul not once but twice.

“Indeed, this kid is a miracle.” Travis sighed. “So, when will be his formal assassin training starts?”

“Captain said it was the job of Selina. I had a talk with her this morning. She said her return might be delayed by a month.” Lilia said with a frown.

“Trouble?” Travis asked seriously.

“Yes.” Lilia nodded grimly. “She got exposed somehow and is now hiding until the storm settles.”

“Damn it! Just who is this traitor? We keep getting exposed more often than not this month. Even the first and third troops were facing the same problem.” Travis mumbled angrily.

“The family is conducting a thorough checkup,” Lilia said with a frown of her own marrying her dainty face. “I heard the case is now fallen on to the hands of Mr. Lucas. I hope he captures the culprit soon.”

“Mr. Lucas? That’s Andel’s dad, you know!” Travis raised his left eyebrow after hearing Lilia’s statement. Suddenly, he felt funny and couldn’t help himself from laughing.

“What?” Lilia asked while looking at him weirdly.

“Well, since Mr. Lucas took this case, it puts all the assassin corps under his jurisdiction.” Travis slapped his thighs and bit his lower lip to stop himself from laughing out loud. “I just imagined what would be Two’s reaction when he gets to know this.”

“Pfft!!” Even Lilia couldn’t stop herself after imagining the scene.
