You have killed an ant, gained 1 EXP You have killed an ant, gained 1 EXP
Blue boxes with texts floated in Andel’s field of vision as his legs continued to crush the tiny red ants crawling on the grass. Looking at his stubby legs, Andel couldn’t help but let out a miserable sigh. This leg that crushed the ants belonged to a child no older than five years who hadn’t stopped smelling like his mother’s milk. Speaking of mother’s milk, Andel let out another miserable sigh.
It’s been five years since he came to this world and invaded the body of a small kid that just came out of his mother’s womb. He felt sorry for the kid as well as his parents, but what could he do? It's not like he planned this whole thing. That day, he was returning home from a tiring day at his office, a usual occurrence in IT farms. Then all of a sudden, he experienced a bad case of chest pain, and then he fainted in the middle of the street. He was already in this new world after waking up.
How did he know this was a new world? That credit goes to his dear father, who made toys out of thin air not long after he regained consciousness. Besides, this planet had three moons, which was glaring proof of his claim.
When he was four years old, he came to know more about this new world. Basically, this world was an amalgamation of modern technology and magical. That day he also discovered that, despite possessing the body of a kid of this world, he had no aptitude to either magic or Ki, a different variation of magic. That day, he also cried the hardest, something he hadn’t done ever since he admitted to middle school back on the Earth.
Ding!
You have gathered enough experience points. Would you redeem it for Immunity points?
Andel’s attention shifted to the newly appeared red letters floating before him.
“Yes.” He whispered and waited anticipatedly for the following notice.
You have redeemed 100 EXP for one Immunity point.
Current EXP: 0
Unused Immunity Points: 5

“Open my Immunity attributes, please,” Andel called out the system he gained as a transmigration bonus and waited patiently. Not long after, his immunity attributes displayed before his eyes.
Immunity Attributes Pain Immunity Lv 2 Skin wounds Immunity Lv 4 Disease Immunity Lv 1 Blunt trauma Immunity Lv 2 Fall damage immunity Lv 2 Burn Immunity Lv 1 Fatigue Immunity Lv 2 Drown Immunity Lv 1
The only reason he didn’t breakdown after knowing the disadvantages of not having the aptitude to either magic or ki was because of this system. He had hope. In this new world, which emphasizes on personal strength over everything else, without magic or Ki, one’s fate would be no different than that of a doormat. Everyone will step on you, and you have no other way but to accept it.
Although the system he gained was unique and different from the ones he had seen on various novels that he liked to read, it still gave him enough confidence to survive and walk with his head high.
The interesting thing about his system was that it shows various immunities or resistances he gained from his actions. Andel named his system the Immunity System precisely because of this utility. Moreover, he couldn’t increase anything aside from Immunities with the Immunity Attribute.
Andel knew that if he plays his cards right, he could perhaps become the strongest person in this world. His goal was to max out all his immunities, at the same time, to gain as many immunities as he could.
Thankfully he could gain EXP from almost anything, making his road to the future a breeze. Currently, he could gain 1 EXP from killing an ant, walking 1 km, reading a book for an hour, and so on. Aside from those, he hadn’t discovered any other ways to gain more. As a result, he could only stick to these lengthy processes.
‘Apply three points to Fatigue Immunity and two to Disease Immunity.’
[Accepted]
Sighing, Andel applied the points he was saving for a while to disease and fatigue immunity. He chose disease immunity because he didn’t want to fall sick. As for Fatigue Immunity, he had a deeper reason for that.

‘Hmm, not bad.’ Andel felt good about himself for having such powerful stats. The physical attributes were average, almost comparable to kids who had just started to learn in Ki. However, he took pride in his Immunity Attributes.
Pain Immunity Lv 2, pinching, light spanks, etc. held no meaning to him anymore.
Disease Immunity Lv 3, he wasn’t getting sick anytime soon.
Fall damage Immunity Lv 2, even if he jumps down from a chair head-first, he will receive 0 damage.
Fatigue Immunity Lv 5, he can run at his full speed for more than ten minutes without stopping.
Skin Wound Immunity Lv 4, even if he falls down on a rough surface, his skin can endure the damage without any problem. Similarly, he could endure a ten years old’s full-powered punch without a sweat due to his Blunt trauma Immunity Lv 2.
As for Burning and Drowning Immunities, he hadn’t tested their effectiveness as of yet.
All in all, with his immunities, he could endure a beating from any average Ki trained kid of his age.
The deaths of those thousands of ants were not in vain.
After this short break, Andel stood up and continued jogging in the garden, which he was doing for the past half an hour. Seras family, to which he belongs, had a long history of producing elites of Ki and magic warriors. Every scion of this family was tested for their aptitude when they were four years old and later trained accordingly. Although he didn’t have aptitude in any of the disciplines, he still had to attend the compulsory classes meant for the children of the family.
It would be so for the next five years.
Five years later~
“Ha!!” In a medium-sized indoor gymnasium, fifteen children ranging from eight to twelve could be seen practicing a set of exercises. Among them, Andel stood in the forefront while he performed the stances of the exercise routine.
In these past five years, he had done many things. Due to having a mentality of a thirty plus years old man, Andel breezed through all the academic courses meant for kids, earning the title genius from his elders. While he trained every day in all kinds of physical exercises, he also spent his time in reading about the world.
“Alright, that’s all for today. Everyone, disperse!” The kids stopped doing their painful exercises and ran out of the gym in droves. In their immature minds, the farther they were from this place, the better. To them, this 30 years old gym instructor was no different from a monster out to eat small children like them.
In a matter of minutes, Andel was the only one left in the gym. Seeing the kids avoiding him, the gym instructor couldn’t help but sigh and shake his head in sadness. He very much liked this small kid. He was diligent and also hardworking. In these five years, he had never heard a single complaint from him, no matter how hard or impossible the exercise he assigned him.
Unfortunately, this little kid didn’t have any aptitude in either Ki or magic. Else with his genius-level intellect, he had the potential to become someone very important in the Seras family. As for those other children avoiding, of course, it was due to this disability as well.
Suddenly, a figure appeared in the gym. It was a middle-aged man in a black tuxedo. With an angular jawline, and shaven face, and slicked black hair, he was the crush of countless young women. This man was the butler of the current family head.
The man approached Andel, who was about to pack his bags, and bowed respectfully to him.
“Master Andel, the family head is looking for you.”

Modded Skyr*m: Real Life Edition
It seems that I died while I was playing VR Skyr*m. The next thing I knew, I was standing in front of the middle-aged man who called himself The Overlord of Dremora and Dragons. He told me they were releasing Skyr*m: Real-Life Edition. However, you have to be dead first to play it, and I was chosen as a 'beta tester' of sorts. I found myself in a semi-realistic (thanks to mods) world, and I want to have fun and relax for the rest of my life, and maybe get back to Earth. There's just a small *RAWR* problem. Setting: This happens within the world in The Legend of the Fake Hero, specifically two arcs from now. About: I am writing this for fun as a side project. I intend this to be semi-interactive as I will have polls where readers can influence the book's direction. I have the final say because I believe that too many cooks in the kitchen are not a good thing. The plan is to write it in parts that are around 1-2k words. Typically around every 3 to 6 parts, they will be combined into a finalized chapter and re-edited for a smoother read. Release schedule: When I feel like it. I'll be more inclined to write if there is more interaction, both in comments and polls, towards the story. However, I will be focusing on The Legend of the Fake Hero because that is something I own entirely and enjoy. I will try to do consistent uploads. Disclaimer: This work falls under fair use as it is a partial parity, does not affect the value of the original work, is an original story within the setting (within my setting), and is not being sold. All IP belongs to their respective owners (including myself). Currently uploading on Scribble Hub and Royal Road under the same username.
