《I am System》Silent Night

Ken was busy trying to make the capital a proper city in which his approval was at least at 10%. He wasn’t even sure of how approval could be negative. Were dead people also not approving of him?
However, fussing over something like this was not useful, and so Ken continued his efforts of rebuilding Cayden’s capital.
In the Western continent, where land was small and all countries shared borders with each other, Alice had finally made her preparations.
Looking around, she pulled out the twin blades she had decided to use as her weapons, and nodded to her team members, who nodded back to her and began lighting the piled of leaved they had collected and drenched in poison on fire.
Since each of them had already taken the antidote, It would not affect them.
‘Spread the fire.’ Alice whispered to he squad who began the next step of the plan to spread the fire in all directions to make it seem like a real forest fire instead of something man-made.
Quickly, the wind picked up the fire and spread it over a large area, just as Alice had planned.
“Disperse quick, and stay hidden no matter what happens alright? If something happens to me, just retreat back to Leon, just keep going in that direction until you come across a village and find your way from there, and report everything to Leon. Got it?”
“Yes Ma’am.”
Although they listened to their squad leader, there were by no means any feelings of loyalty strong enough that would make them sacrifice their lives for her.
With the orders given, Alice also backed away from the rapidly spreading fire, and waited for a while for the smoke to settle through the enemy camp. This did not take too much time, and Alice then tied a black cloth around her face and charged in.

Silently avoiding sticks and stones on the ground, Alice entered the base without alerting anyone, since most people were pre-occupied with the smoke.
The camp itself was actually a village that had been taken over by the Roland Kingdom’s army as a strategic location within Roland’s borders.
Using the clearly visible red markers, Alice cleverly avoided enemies and slowly made her way to the house with the battalion. The poisonous smoke would last for about 10 minutes in total, since once the leaves they had collected fully burnt up, only normal smoke from the trees would be left. However, that smoke would simply rise into the sky like a pillar instead of spreading in many directions like leaves.
This was the reason why Leon Kingdom used them as signals, since the smoke remained below the treeline, and travelled for kilometres while remaining there. The colour of the smoke would give them messages, and the direction it came from would give them the location of the soldiers that sent the message, without alerting the enemy of the friendly soldier’s locations.
Therefore, Alice only had as much time as the leaves she had collected lasted.
Now, she had around 7 minutes left, and time was running low.
However, she did not rush into the building and instead waited for a while until a soldier with keys came over to check on the prisoners and make sure they had not escaped, along with 4 other soldiers.
Alice simply waited in the shadows, her black clothes masked by darkness as she observed them and followed behind them.
They soon arrived at the first cell, where nearly 20 Leon soldiers were simply sitting dejectedly, with all hope lost.
However, they soon noticed Alice who was following behind the Rolandians, and almost reacted since they could recognise Rattling death, who was no longer rattling. Thankfully Alice’s quick and signals made them shut up and sit back down without reacting much.

‘I’ll be back’
Alice followed the Rolandian soldiers and they checked all the cells, and Alice had already memories which keys were used for which cell door. Now, all she needed was the keys themselves.
Waiting for the soldiers to let their guards down, Alice acted, picking off one enemy at a time while remaining in the shadows.
“Kkkukk”
Before the soldier she chose could react in any way, his head and neck had a dagger each, piercing completely through the skull and neck, before being dragged away, all in almost an instant.
Within a few instants, Alice had killed off a level 10 soldier as if it was nothing. This in fact did give her a tonne of exp since she was not even level 5 yet.
However, she did not stop there, and killed off each one of the soldiers one by one starting from the ones at the back and making her way to the leader of the group, and the one who had the keys.
*Thud* The leader’s corpse fell to the ground spewing blood, and Alice took this corpse and put it in the shadows of the lamps in the building.
This scene sent shivers through the spines of many of the people present here. The rattlesnake had grown past its rattling, becoming a far more deadly viper, hidden in plain sight under the cover of darkness, always poised for a deadly strike.
And so the rumour of Rattling Death transformed into the legend of the Silent Night.

Second Chance
This story starts somewhere in the future. Twenty years before the story begins, a genius scientist created hundreds of machines called the SC-Capsules before he went missing. Nobody alive on Earth knows for sure what the machines do, since anyone who uses them will disappear without any trace, and anyone who tries to disassemble them will be blasted into pieces. Two decades afterward, a dying man tries to escape from death’s grip by doing something that nobody but a desperate man would do. He uses one of the machines… and is transported to another world. He is given another chance, a second chance to live as he wishes… a chance to be a hero… or a villain… or both… or neither… Warning: 18+ due to violence, language, and sexual content on later chapters

The False Paladin
Divine Paladins, a title given to those who were blessed with the Lord's Favor, are the pillars of the kingdom of Calorin. However, a kingdom cannot simply be built from ideals of honor and duty. Sir Roel, the 58th Divine Paladin, knows that he's no hero. His sword is fake, his actual powers are middling, and his thoughts grow more cynical with every passing day. Upon receiving his next task, an order to assassinate a member of royalty, he wonders if the only thing he can do is bow his head and obey. Set in a medieval-era world in which brute strength is often subordinate to the schemes and machinations of the ruling class, this is a low fantasy story about a hero who struggles not only against monsters but also the idea that he's supposed to be the one fighting them. This fiction updates once to twice a week and each chapter is a minimum of 1000 words.

Alternate Worlds
This is actually a group of short stories I did some time ago. The first group are 3 stories, all starring the same Protagonist but with different foes and ways of how the stories play out. Past this I have other story lines that I have done this with and will likely use this heading to put them out there. - Note: The Book Picture is the location of the Portal the car went through. There are 4 such statues set across from each other and then two of the large pillars, set across the street from one another. New Story Line: Lost is about a man lost in a world that Used to have summoned hero's, ones where the mages who did the summonings did not close the pathways properly, so sometimes people from all across time, space, and dimension end up falling in to their world. Some become heroes, some 'Demon Lords' and some something else. I have 3 versions of this story which I will put here, one chapter a day. 2cd version was massively flawed, which I only realized while sharing it. As such I am skipping it and moving on to the 3rd version. The 3rd Story of Lost is about a man who mysteriously fell in to a world based on video games, complete with leveled zones, levels of skills, professions and so forth. Being from a world like ours, with the knowledge of these things, gives him a decided edge and better potential than normal. --------------------------------------- New story - New Life, Old Soul is the story of a man who used desperate experimental magic to grant himself a new life in a new world. This is an Iseki story with a single twist as no outside force dropped or summoned this soul to its new life. Come and see what sort of world and life this willing traveler of Realities unknown experiences. I will try and post once a day, though times may vary depending on my the wierdness that is my life. ^-^ ------------------------------ Cosmic Chaos A Void Maker tried to destroy several realities, by forcing their crystal shells in to each other. The AOs of those realms fought back the best they could, including a desperate play of opening random portals between the divergent universes and the void. Several things, peoples, and animals fell through these portals. In the grand scheme of things very little of this had long reaching consequences. However, Some of these universes gained new time lines from these events. This is a story of one such event, of one very lost traveler dropped in to a very different world than the one he came from. Sage ▸ Stiles Stilinski [Book One]
"You do realize that I'm supposed to tell you when you're throwing yourself into a dangerous situation and that doing this will probably get you killed, right?" "I don't need you to take care of me, Sage." "Says the werewolf that fell into the floor." Sage Connelly was notoriously known for the fire that killed her entire family when she was only ten years old. Granted, that name held importance for an entire year before people eventually forgot about the Connelly's and the other family involved in the fire, the Hale's. Nearly six years later, when the little girl is not so little anymore, Sage comes back with more than just a leather jacket hanging on her shoulders. She comes back with a personality distinctly different from what her old friends remembered, not only stunning Jackson Whittemore into silence but efficiently taking away Scott McCall and Stiles Stilinski's ability to talk about the dead body found in the woods the night before. Even more, the bite on Scott's body that held an importance only two people in town could help him with: Sage, to her dismay, was one of them. When Derek Hale calls upon her help, giving her the title of Scott McCall's personal babysitter, she's inevitably forced to tag along with the boy's trusty side-kick. The introverted and overly, well, intimidating qualities that the blonde had lead Stiles Stilinski into an unfathomable struggle of convincing himself that Sage Connelly was just a crush, and that Lydia Martin would forever be the one holding his heart. That lasted as long as the one-way conversation the boy had with the strawberry blonde in the middle of a hospital. His downward spiral leads him directly into the arms of a stubborn, damn blonde that was confident she didn't need a boy in her life that was still tripping over an elementary school crush.
