《The Journey Towards Stardom》Chapter 22- BL For The Win

Two days ago, the judges had the contestants fill out a questionnaire. The questions were mostly personal, like how many siblings they had if any or who were their closest friends, etc. No one really understood the reason so they didn’t pay any more mind to it.
On the day of the challenge, a bunch of confused faces could be seen. Standing with his arms crossed, Faer looked at the judges with consternation.
The challenge today was strange. They were only given a hint, so everyone was undoubtedly confused. The hint was ‘Never let your friends get lonely … Keep disturbing them.’
On the ride to their untold location, Faer was in a pensive mood. If the challenge had something to do with a friend, then more than likely they invited the participant's friends for something. Blowing out a frustrated breath, Faer decided to wait and see, he couldn’t do much else at the moment.
Now at the site, it was obvious that they were having a photo shoot. Faer was about to ask what exactly was happening when he saw a bunch of people walking towards them. Wrinkling his brows, he looked around him as he saw some of the contestants and the people hugging and carrying on. Seems like he was right, the challenge involved friends. Suffice to say, he was in deep shit because he didn’t put one name down in the friendship section of the questionnaire. The only names he jotted down were of his sibling’s secretaries since he didn’t want the show to know about his involvement with the Blixt siblings.
Lost in his own little world, Faer failed to notice the arrival of the person now standing behind him.
Something warm and rough covered his eyes' he felt a hot breath tickle his ear.
“Guess who.” The voice was oddly familiar.
“Chicken butt.” Faer deadpanned.
Laughter broke the awkwardness. When the hands covering his eyes could no longer be felt, Faer turned around and his jaw dropped as he pointed a finger at the person before him.
“What the heck are you doing here?”
“Nice to see you too. I got a call from your sister, she asked if I could help you out and I agreed, so here we are.”
“Ah shit. I’m clueless right now. Why exactly are you here?”
Aro’s eyes crinkled in mirth as he smiled. “For a photo shoot apparently.”
“I’m failing to und -” Faer was cut off by the sound of Diem’s voice.
“I bet you’re all wondering why you’re friends are here. Today’s shoot will be one with your companion. It doesn’t matter what kind of theme you want to do, as long as you both are included then whatever goes.”

Turning to look at Faer, Aro smiled mischievously. “Well you heard her; I’ll leave it to you.”
Shaking his head in exasperation, Faer dragged Aro by the hand to wear the clothes were.
Looking down at his hand that was being held in another, Aro pursed his lips and allowed himself to be dragged along.
Finally deciding on a theme, they got dressed and were ushered into a side room with desk and chairs, not unlike a classroom, which was perfect.
Dressed in a stylish black suit jacket with a white shirt and black form-fitting slacks with his hair in a braid at his back, Aro looked sharp enough to cut.
Fear, on the other hand, wore a dark blue blazer with a shirt and a blue striped tie and black pants molded to his legs. He looked the picture of a very handsome elite schoolboy.
“Ok darlings, just looking at you is giving me delicious shivers.” This was the same photographer from the last shoot.
Taking that as a cue, Faer steeled himself and pushed Aro against the wall, scattering some desks and chairs in the process.
Pressing a hand against the wall and caging him in, Faer was nose to nose with Aro, while the photographer kept snapping images and squealing in delight from the side.
Opening his mouth to say something in protest, Aro closed it on second thought as he saw Faer shook his head in protest. Exhaling a tense breath, he decided to go with the flow. It was only for a short while. He had never liked anyone in his personal space but for some reason, he didn’t find it as hateful when it was Faer.
Tipping Aro’s chin up with his finger, Faer gave a lecherous smile as he saw Aro gulp in confusion or anxiety, he wasn’t quite sure but he felt a bit disturbed that he found making the guy before him squirm, enjoyable. Some new type of devilish interest was sprouting no doubt.
“More darlings! Give me more! it’s so hot in here, my goodness!” The photographer cooed in delight.
Several of the girl contestants were fanning themselves as they looked on at the steamy scene. They weren’t quite sure how to feel about two men in such an ambiguous position, but they couldn’t find it in them to look away from the scene.
Not paying the least bit of attention to his surroundings, Faer was completely lost in the scene and how to maximize this opportunity. On instinct, he grabbed tightly onto Aro’s braid and tilted his head back as he lowered his head at the nape of his neck and held that pose until he was satisfied with the number of shots that were taken.

Loosening his tie and wetting his lips with the tip of his tongue, Aro stared into Faer’s eyes unblinking then ran his hands through Faer’s gelled hair.
“Unkempt is more fitting at the moment, don’t you think?” The corner of Aro’s lips curved up into a seductive smirk.
However, in his head, Aro was cursing the scoundrel for taking pleasure in his unease. He could clearly see the mirth reflected in Faer’s eyes as he kept fidgeting in nervousness.
When their lips hovered just barely an inch away from each other, Aro nearly lost his mind.
‘Was Faer’s lips always that red? Like a juicy apple waiting for someone to sink their teeth in.’
He needed to adhere to his purpose and not get sidetracked while in the process. There was no way he would let himself get seduced in such a place. No, he wouldn’t let himself get seduced. Period. Right? He didn’t know anymore. Refraining from gazing at Faer too deeply, he grabbed Faer’s big hand and placed it around his neck with an arched brow.
Nodding his head in understanding, Faer placed the right amount of pressure on Aro’s throat and stuck his tongue out a little at the side of his mouth.
To others, the scene looked violent but debauched. Gulps could be heard all around. What a thirsty bunch of people.
“Oh no! I used up more film than I should’ve but it was worth it! Ah, if only it could’ve lasted longer.” The photographer lamented.
The spell now broken, Faer and Aro separated from each other and smiled. It seemed like the shots were good.
Aro was just happy he could get away from the sight of those solid muscles and that firm chest that was pressed against him mere seconds ago.
Renewing his determination to stay far away from Faer for the time being, he walked away in a hurry to who knew where. Air, he needed air.
Watching the departing back, Faer smiled wryly then cleared his throat as he walked to a secluded corner, leaving the others to take their pictures.
That went better than he expected. It was a good thing he asked Aro’s permission beforehand. When Faer had backed him against the wall, he could tell that Aro wanted to run. Seeing him like that ignited a dark desire in Faer. He felt like a predator watching his prey squirm in fear. Delicious.
Shaking his head to clear away those dark thoughts, he watched the other contestants as the time went.
He wasn’t sure where Aro ran off to, but he could somehow sense his presence was close by. This must have something to do with his newfound abilities, so he decided to look into it later.
All good things must come to an end. It was time for the visitors to leave, and Faer saw neither hide nor hair of Aro after they had finished their shots. From what he could remember of Aro, he had never liked anyone to stay in close proximity to him so Faer was sure he was a little overwhelmed at what happened earlier. Feeling a little sorry for pushing him out of his comfort zone, Faer walked up to him and held out a hand.
Scrunching his nose in confusion, Aro looked at the proffered hand and shook it tentatively.
“Thank you for coming here and going along with my selfish request.” Faer offered his heartfelt thanks and flashed Aro a big smile.
Seeing the sincerity in Faer’s eyes, Aro smiled in response then gave him a hug goodbye before walking away back to the bus he came in.
The eliminations would take place tomorrow so a majority of the contestants were wound tight. A few confident ones, including Faer weren’t as worried, and they passed the time on their way back leisurely.
That night when the photos were uploaded, a storm was brewing on the net. It was mayhem.
The fujoshis came out in full force and took over.
“Nosebleeds galore. What is this?! My ovaries are going to explode!” – RainbowPoundCake110.
“What’s this feeling? I feel like I’m being reborn. I’m turning into a dirty woman!” - Yaoi-ing888
“I’m ruined. This picture is life! Student and teacher in a torrid love affair. Two men. The apple on the desk. Forbidden fruit! Ahhhh I’m shipping these two! I ship them to death!” – BLFTW
Such comments among several others were displayed for the whole night.
Faer’s fan group made several thousands more fans overnight.
The day after the episode was uploded, the ratings were off the charts. The producers couldn’t believe it; they have never had such ratings since the start of this show.
That night the producer sold his soul to the BL devil.

Barry Buckman and the Interdimensional Beastiary
In the beginning of 2021 I did something possibly stupid, I hired a ghostwriting company to write one of the many ideas going on in my head since I was busy with my job. Unfortunately... They were not the greatest, after the first writer assigned to me left I was stuck with... We'll just call her 'Karen'. Karen didn't want to listen to my feedback on chapters, and turned what was supposed to be a long story about a young guy surviving on an island of supernatural and crazy stuff, and becoming stronger from it, was turned into a not so great romance novel.I plan on releasing another one, probably after this that will be Barry Buckman Redux, which will be me writing it out the way I originally envisioned it.
