Voting ends at 12 AM so the pictures were uploaded on the website at 5 pm, giving the netizens enough time to vote for their favorites.
On their way back to the villa, Faer kept feeling a gaze filled with ill intent boring into his back. Turning his head around, he saw William with a smirk on his face as he met Faer’s eyes.
The viewers weren’t professionals, but their opinions were indispensable. To receive their votes, you had to have an excellent appearance, have an agreeable personality and take good pictures. Faer's pictures were the worst of the lot but with his exceptional looks he ended up being the one not eliminated.
When the episode aired, at first the viewers swooned at his handsomeness but as the show progressed they couldn’t help but frown. This hottie sure knew how to live leisurely, look at him sleeping for the whole time, Ah, what a waste of good looks. If the pictures were uploaded after the episode aired, surely Faer would have been eliminated.
Back at the villa, Faer felt like he had a dark rain cloud hovering over his head. With his mind now clear, he noticed that his condition before was strange so he thought hard and long about what was the cause of the problem. On his way to relieve himself in the bathroom, he heard a conversation between William and another person. Due to his cheat stats, Faer had exceptional hearing.
“How much did you give him? He was supposed to be passed out for the entirety of the shoot, and then automatically eliminated for not being able to take photos.” William was really upset that Faer somehow avoided elimination.
Staying out of sight, Faer continued to eavesdrop on their conversation.
“I crushed a bunch of the pills and mixed it into the porridge. He should have been knocked out based on the dosage so I’m just as clueless as you are.” The voice that responded was very familiar to Faer.

So that’s what happened! Faer sneered as he finally figured out the reason he was so sluggish. If it weren’t for his cheat, he would have been down for the count.
'Want to scheme against me? You’re 100 years too early.'
Faer’s new personality, though dispassionate, was also very cunning. His days of being pushed around were long over.
Alone in his room, Faer looked at himself in the floor length mirror. Pushing the hair out of his face, he turned his head from side to side, examining his features. The white milky skin that should have given him sickly pallor, glowed with healthiness; the large watery eyes with their different colors emitted an ethereal radiance. Faer’s self-esteem still had a long way to go, but he was now able to evaluate himself objectively. The fact that he was now a model and a contestant in a modeling competition, he could glean that his looks weren’t as bad as he had thought. Right now, he could appreciate that his eyes were his most outstanding feature and he would use them to his advantage.
Though having good looks were important in this industry, you also had to have a personality that resonated with other people if you wanted to get far. With looks like his that were slightly feminine and gave people an otherworldly feel, he decided that instead of looking seductive like everyone else, being pure and cute would benefit him more this time around. The shrewd light behind his eyes disappeared, and what could now be seen in the mirror was a naïve and lovable person who could shake the hearts of many.
The cameraman could only shake his head as it was now the third night but this guy did the same thing every night. He’d shower then go to sleep, not even socializing with the other contestants. With nothing of interest here, the cameraman went to the pool where the other models congregated, he’d have lots of footage here.

Under his blanket, Faer called out to God in his head but he got no response. What he did get, however, was a familiar blue screen.
Top Three
Mission: God gave you such looks for free, to not be a disgrace, get in the top three.
Reward: Random skill/item
Failure to complete the mission will result in the loss of a Talent.
The appearance of the mission caught him off guard but then he smiled as he had already decided to be in the top three. This only made it more challenging, so Faer was perfectly fine with it.
Pushing all thoughts to the back of his mind and comfortably laying on his stomach, Faer fell asleep.

Legends of Balarel - A Leisurely LitRPG
Glenn Redwood has longed to become an Adventurer since he was a young boy, and has focused every waking moment on that goal since turning 14. Answering the challenge of the Gods of Balarel, he has fought Monsters, Leveled, and grown stronger. Yet the day before his 16th birthday, the day he will earn his dream or lose it forever ... the Gods have made a wager. And no mere mortal wishes to draw the attention of the Gods. ***** This is my crack at writing a leisurely LitRPG. My focus is more on telling interesting stories set in a world where people live under a MMORPG-like ruleset enforced by the Gods, and less on writing another story where the MC gets massive stat boosts every chapter before heading off to wreck the world. There will be plenty of blue tables (it’s LitRPG!) but my Adventurers are just starting out. This fic is about the journey, not the destination, so expect everyone to Level ... leisurely. Updates: M-T-W-Th. I’ll post 3000-4000 words a day, or 12000-15000 words a week. If this posting pace ends up being too much for me, I reserve the right to slow posts down a bit. Inspirations: Blessed Time (Royal Road) Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In a Dungeon? (Anime) Trails in the Sky (JRPG Series) MC: My MC is a genuinely good person who’s both a talented warrior and tactically savvy. He prefers to solve problems without violence but will resort to force if necessary to protect his friends or innocent people. I’m tired of stories starring anti-hero MCs facing endless doom and gloom, so I wanted to write a nice guy with an adventurous spirit who helps people in a thriving fantasy world. That’s all.

Rage: Crisis / Consequence / ???
Its been ten years since Seth was given his powers, ten years since his town was driven mad by that very same power, and ten years since its source was shunted into his head. A species of energy beings, a people filled with regret for what their entrance onto this world caused. Regret for the deaths that town perpetuated, the devastation they brought, the blow they served to the once proud heroes of this world. Heroes Seth now hopes to join, hopes to heal and atone to for what transpired. But their wounds run deep, their ire sharp, and their acceptance thin. And to top it all off... Seth's power is run far deeper than he knows, and sees his world in a light all its own. This series is my first foray into authoring, with two parts out of at best four if the readership stands. But part three will still book end nicely otherwise. And I'm not stopping till then. It is action heavy with varied and ramping up fight scenes through out. (Book 1 is heavy / Book 2 a little lighter) It is bloody in places, mildly gory in others, and heavily gory in simulated places. Nothing truly horrifying, I think, but be warned. It has trauma. PTSD is a major part of the story, but I will never trust that I got it completely right, so your mileage may vary on how believable or impactful it is. Lastly it has language. Swearing ebbs and flows as the story progresses and attitudes harden or soften. Sometimes bleeding through into the narration... somehow.
