"Um, I'm .. well I'm.." Faer didn't quite know what to do, he was flustered, to say the least. The eyes stabbing into him were uncomfortable.

"Can we talk outside maybe?" Too many people here. I can see their ears twitching.

"Hmm, I don't mind." Taking off the apron and hairnet, Aro stepped out of the kitchen and walked towards Faer.

"Boss Aro, are you sure? That guy looks really suspicious." The sparkly-eyed girl gave Faer a nasty look.

Why was she looking at him like he stole her boyfriend or something?

In his usual get up of the hoodie and sunglasses along with a surgical mask, he indeed looked suspicious.

Exiting the restaurant with Aro behind him, they walked a little ways away from prying ears.

“So what did you need me for?" That neutral voice halted him mid-stride.

Turning around to face the pretty man, Faer was nervous as all heck. His palms were sweaty, and he kept looking everywhere but in front of him.

"Faer, me, I'm Faer." What the hell? that didn't come out right.

"Fear you? Mina was right, you are suspicious." Even though he said that Aro didn't look bothered at all.

"No! I meant I was Fear, Faer Mensa from high school. We were in class together for a while."

"Are you sure you're Faer? I can't see your face but from what I can see, you don't look like the Faer I remember."

"Unblock your face idiot!"

Ahh, divine intervention. Nice job God!

"My good grace is wasted on you."

Now with the mask and sunglasses off, surely he would recognize him now!

"Your eyes are just like what I remember from Faer but for all, I know it could be contact lenses." Aro wasn't budging huh. What a stubborn guy.

"Jesus! The hood! Take it off, so he can see your hair! And weren't you a fattie recently? Who would recognize you now?!"

'What does your son have to do with this?!' Faer shouted out in his mind, knowing that God would hear him.

In a space far away, a certain God was lamenting over picking someone so stupid as entertainment.

"That guy really needs to raise his intelligence stat."

Aro looked on at the handsome stranger who claimed himself as Faer. Sure the eyes were similar but there were ways to get around that. Also if this really were Faer, he really had changed too much!

Removing the hood, Faer's silver hair shone in the sunlight.

A shocked expression was plastered on Aro's face. So he really was Faer! As far as he knew, there were only four people with silver hair. It was the Pryor-Blixt siblings and their mother.

Wasn't this change too drastic? Who would've guessed the fat kid that everyone made fun of would turn into this hottie. Too much shock to the heart.

"You really weren't lying huh. It's been a long time, but I have to say you look nothing like I remember." That's Aro for you. He was shocked but went back to normal immediately.

"Yeah, some things happened, and I became like this. Anyway, I heard you were back and were close by. You left so suddenly that I didn't get to say this. Thank you for your kindness back then."

That was Faer's motive for coming here, it wasn't so he could catch a glimpse of his high school crush. Really!

"Your appearance might have changed, but your personality is still the same." Aro smiled, and Faer swore he saw flowers blooming.

"Hehe, Visual effects by yours truly!"

'Will you go away?!'

"Now that I've said what I wanted to, I'll leave you to your work. Maybe I'll drop by sometime if that's alright with you."

"You don't have to leave. Right, why don't you come and eat something? My treat. I remember you liked chicken l-"

"What do we have here?" Four rough looking men with piercings and tattoos approached the duo.Anyone could tell they had bad intentions.

A sense of danger took hold of Faer. His eyes turned sharp and his body became taut then relaxed.

Unknown to Faer, his whole demeanor changed. Aro took notice of this as a frown marred his pretty face.

The closer they came, the more fearful Faer was. His heart felt like it would burst out of his chest.

"Even though he can draw out the talent from the martial artist, his cowardice nature still won't change so easily huh."

'You're a man so it's your duty to step up at times like these.' Faer gave himself a pep talk even though it only worsened his anxiety.

"Does he forget Aro's a guy?"

He pushed Aro behind him so that he could shield him with his body if anything should happen.

He was sure he could fell these guys in a few seconds. But was it to the point where he had to get physical?

The newly developed instinct was setting off alarms, but Faer was trying to suppress it. He didn't want to assume anything as of yet.

What looked to be the leader of the group sidled up to the duo, looking over them from top to bottom. They all had lewd expressions and Faer's instinct flared up again.

"Why don't you guys come with us? We'll show you a good time." The leader said.

Faer patted Aro's hand mostly to assure himself.

"I'm sorry, my b-boyfriend and I aren't interested. We were just about to leave anyway. Good day." Faer turned to leave as he grasped Aro's hand in his but a hand clamped down on his shoulder.

"No need to rush. We're all friends here. The fact that he's your boyfriend makes it even better. Right boys?" Thug leader questioned.

"That's right boss!." The baldheaded thug kept nodding his head while the other two made shouts of agreement.

The leader stepped around Faer and reached out his hand to touch Aro.

"Don't touch him!" A brutal expression was shown as Faer started exuding killing intent.

'Huh? What's happening? Why do I feel so strange?'

"You sure you want to do that kid?" The leader was scared, but his lackeys were here so he couldn't lose face.

"Touch him and see what I wouldn't dare to do." Faer stared straight at the leader, ready to pounce if he came any closer.

"Mission System has been implemented. In order to be more entertaining. No. In order to make this more interesting. That's still not right huh? From now on, you'll be receiving missions."

Damsel in distress

The blue screen flashed one after the other then disappeared completely.
