You swap some memos back and forth with Mu'randa, establishing where her ship graveyard is. It turns out to be in an uninhabited system just north of Kania rejoicing in the cartographic designation of NGC-2051.

Being located so close to Kania means that there won't be much lost time if the ship graveyard turns out to be a bust. Mu'randa and Zheeves both setup token cargoes to the Kania system, both to potentially open a new trade route and to at least cover the costs of making the transit to that area.

Six days later, the Aegis and the Terra Incarnadine are sitting in orbit over Kania unloading their cargoes. The appearance of the Terra Incarnadine in-system caused some consternation among the local system defense forces. Even now, they are paying special attention to her. You get the feeling that the local governor would love to find some reason to seize her.

Two days after that, the cargoes are unloaded and your little squadron is headed for the location of Mu'randa's ship graveyard without any major incidents. There were the usual round of shore-side incidents between sailors on leave and the locals, inevitable when your combined ships companies total up to 53,000 people, but nothing serious.

Mu'randa's Ship Graveyard turns out to be both very real, and (possibly) very rich.

Hundreds of hulls, everything from strike craft and corvettes to cruisers of all types, even what looks like a pair of battlecruisers deeper in, make up a floating asteroid ring around a smallish moon. Both the Aegis and the Terra Incarnadine begin sensor sweeps, looking for the parts Jace needs to complete the Terra Incarnadine, as well as anything else that might be useful.

Jace is practically giddy with all of the possibilities and all of the possible salvage. Between the stray strike craft and the damaged hangers throughout the debris field, there are enough small craft to fill out the Terra Incarnadine's hangers. There are enough lance and macrobattery components to finish her guns. There is even the possibility of archeotech, given the number and age of hulls in the area. That alone would make for a huge profit, so long as the source lasts.

Then Jace gets a good look at the 'smallish moon.' "That's no moon, that's a Space Hulk!"
