Zhi explained why he was wearing the blindfold to Ya, and then had to repeat it when Qiang got home. After dinner, Zhi took Zhao out back to train. After completely wearing the boy out, Zhi went to his room and at first started to practice his spirit sense on the walls. But after an hour of no progress he ended up pulling out one of the first books he was given by the system.

The Innumerable Body Technique looked like an older, well worn book. But when Zhi inspected it he was given a panel.

Well I never had a desire to be a woman, but this could be useful.

Zhi opens the book and begins to read it. It is different from the last skill book he read in that there are actually words instead of just pictures. The whole thing is kinda vague and doesn’t make much sense to Zhi at all. As he gets close to the end of the book, his vision begins to blur as he hears Buddha say, [Don’t worry about getting your ass kicked, this will be much worse.] Then his vision starts to blacks out, after he blinks he is in a place. In front of him sitting on an ornate chair is a beautiful woman.

Zhi immediately does a bow and says, “This Ming Zhi greets master.” It’s quiet for a while, as Zhi just holds the bow. He hears a deep baritone of a man say, “You may rise Ming Zhi.”

Ending his bow Zhi is greeted with a weathered old man sitting in the chair in front of him. Zhi doesn’t move and just waits for the old man's instructions. The old man slowly gets up and walks closer to Zhi with a cane in one hand. Once in front of Zhi he pokes him softly with his cane a few times in different parts of his body. He says in his deep voice as he begins to walk around behind Zhi, “So you wish to learn my Innumerable Body Technique?”

Zhi still doesn’t move but says, “If you would be so kind as to teach me, I would love to learn from you master.”

A hand grips Zhi’s chin, it’s soft, smooth and feminine in touch. The hand pulls his head down and he feels a soft breath on his ear before an alluring voice says in his ear. “I like you, respectful and you don’t ask stupid questions as soon as I change appearance.” A different beautiful woman walks around in front of him, she is still holding his chin with her delicate hand.

She pulls him closer to her face, tilting his head side to side. Her mouth is open slightly and he can feel the heat from her breath on his neck as she does it. She settles his face in front of her own and smiles at Zhi before saying. “Yes, you will do fine.” She pulls him closer and gives him a scorching kiss on the mouth. Zhi doesn’t resist it, his body reacts on it’s own and he wraps his arms around her and closes his eyes as he gets lost in the feeling of making out with a beautiful young woman. She also wraps her arms around him and returns his passion. She seems to move around alot and paw at his body as they kiss and he can feel her body shift slightly in his arms. She seems to be bigger than when they started kissing.

After a minute she begins to release Zhi and he reluctantly does the same as he opens his eyes. Right in front of his face is a battle hardened man with scars along the left side of his face. Zhi can see a small trail of saliva is hanging between them, still connecting their lips together. Then the man slowly licks his lips causing the saliva trail to break, then a slight look of disappointment crosses the man's face. He steps back from Zhi and stands up to his full height, almost three heads taller than Zhi.

Zhi says nothing, but looks up at the man in front of him. The man lets out a sigh and says, “Most people freak out when I do that, a lot of them puke and babble that they are now soiled for life and unclean. Why are you so calm?”

Zhi smiles and wipes the leftover saliva from his mouth and says, “Three reasons really. The first is I am secure and comfortable enough in my own sexuality. The second is because it has been a long time since I enjoyed a good makeout session, while the ending was a little disappointing, the beginning was very enjoyable. The third reason is because I expected as much from the way you changed already, I would do the same thing with the technique.”

At Zhi’s words a big smile plays across the man's face and he says, “So you would use my technique to play pranks on people? What else would you use it for?”

“Depending on the situation I would use it to escape from people, if I somehow caused issues. Maybe use it to follow people or change into someone I dislike and get them in trouble.”

The man nods and says, “Good, that is what it is meant for. I will train you in this technique, but it will not be fun to learn. The nice thing is we should be able to get you through the painful parts while you are here. Afterwards it will just take practice to master and become faster in switching.”

As Zhi listens to the man, he blinks and in front of him is a young girl. She is less than half his height, and she smiles up at him cutely as she says, “Normally I would teach you to cycle your Qi automatically, but you are already doing it. Now we just need to go and fix your meridian system to expand the flow of your Qi through your body.” She raises her hands up towards Zhi and says, “Up!”

Zhi Smirks but turns around to give her a piggyback ride. The weight he feels on his back does not feel like a young girl and he almost falls over from the added weight before he adjusts himself. From his left side he hears the young girl say, “Lesson one, no matter what you look like, you always weigh the same amount. Now if you have spirit sense mastered you can use it to make you weigh less. But I wouldn’t recommend that because other people will sense it and it can give you away.”

Her small hand appears next to his face and she points to a door before her hand disappears again and she says. “That way, trusty steed.” As Zhi begins to walk towards the door with his passenger, he hears “The Innumerable Body Technique is special in that when used it hides your cultivation from even the most powerful cultivators. It was mostly designed to help me hide in plain sight and to mingle with mortals. But I found many uses for it afterwards that were just too much fun not to use.”

Zhi walks through the door into a new room. In front of him is a massage table, next to it a few other tables with unlit candles, small glass jars, needles and a few other things. As he is looking around the room he hears the girl say, “Set me down on the table please.” Zhi walks over to the table and sets his passenger down, when he turns around a middle aged man is smiling at him. The man gets off the table and says, “Please strip completely and lay on the table face down please.”

After getting naked and laying on the table he hears the man say, “The first thing we are going to do is fire cupping over your whole body, then I will use acupuncture to help target your meridians. Afterwards I will force my Qi into your meridians slowly and forcefully expand them to the proper size. It will be the most painful thing you have ever felt, so let's not delay any longer!”

As the man picks up the first cup, Zhi says. “How is this going to work, this is just a mind projection right? How are my meridians going to be expended on my body?”

“Oh this isn’t like those other skill books from the system that transfers only your mind. You came yourself, it is the only way for people to truly learn this skill. Once we are done, you will be transported back.”

“Oh, that makes a lot more sense.”

For the next hour the man goes over Zhi’s whole backside and fire cups at every acupuncture point or spots close to his meridians. Once the last cup is placed, he goes to the first cup and gently twists it as he pulls it off. Then takes a couple needles and pokes them around the area where the cup was. This repeats until all the cups are removed. Then he hears the man say, “Now this is going to be painful, please bite this and hopefully you pass out before it gets too bad.” The man places a ball gag in Zhi’s mouth and then straps it tightly around his head.

Buddha, can you turn off my pain receptors?

Zhi feels a slightly uncomfortable sensation on his back where the first cup was placed. Then the feeling moves lower into his body before settling into him. From there he can feel it start to grow, it goes from uncomfortable to painful pretty fast. His jaw clenched tightly as he began to scream into the bite gag. He tries to move his body to get away from the pain, but he is stuck and can’t move at all. Buddha? Are you there? Please turn off my pain receptors!

He hears the man say, “You are probably asking your system for help at this point, unfortunately your access to the system is turned off while you are here. It was found that if you don’t suffer through this you won’t be able to use the technique.” The pain just increases and Zhi begins to lose rational thought the longer it goes on while screaming louder into the gag. Then the intense pain was gone, only a dull throbbing ache remained. Zhi’s mind clears a little as he hears the man say, “The first one is always the easiest, it will only get worse from here.”
