On a cold night.
On a training ground of the Ironhide family's barracks, a boy about 12 years old was doing a military training exercise. This young man was wearing some mail armor cloth with the Ironhide families emblem along with some armored boots, and gauntlets.
This boy was training for the purpose of increasing his odds at awakening a job-class for tomorrow.
Vance finished his training and walked towards his private room in the barracks.
His mother passed on after giving birth to him and his father, Dru Ironhide adopted him. Although because of Vance being a secret child Dru sent him to the families barracks until he reached the age of 12.
Vance also knew this so he knew his fate depended on what kind of power he would awaken.
Night passed.
Vance slowly changes his armor to some clean clothes and walked to the temple of Dranait Kingdom.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Inside the temple-
When Vance reached the front of the temple door he heard the clopping of carriages arriving. It was two big luxurious carriages that stopped in front of the temple stairs.
One of the carriages had an emblem of the Ironhide family and another one had the emblem of the royal family. The family head, his father Dru walked with his two wives as they brought along his big brother and two sisters as they stepped out of the Ironhide family carriage.
Dranait kingdom's third prince as well as his sister the first princess accompanied her guard's as they exited their carriage.
His father Dru was a military looking middle-aged man dressed in a black military dress uniform. Beside him was a pretty woman with an oval face along with black hair and a mature looking woman with faint brown hair these two were his wives Reeve and Jane.

Behind them, a handsome boy dressed in a blue noble uniform and was a little bit shorter than Vance was Kitt. Beside him walked a short blonde haired girl wearing a navy blue dress and a girl with raven hair dressed in a light green dress. Those two were his little sisters Aline and Moll.
"Oh isn't that Vance? what a coincidence that today you also have an awakening today" said Kitt with a mocking tone as he walked past him.
"It is an honor to have an awakening on the same day as a successor of the Ironhide family," said Vance with a warm smile but inside his head, he cursed Kitt's name many times for being so insufferable.
"Greetings commander" Vance greeted his father Dru. Only he and his father knows he is his secret son. Others just saw him as a child that Dru found in the streets.
Vance didn't blame his father but he disliked him because he didn't give the same treatment to his mother as his wife.
In this world, humans have classes termed as jobs. Human strength was closely related to the type and ranks of those jobs, and they were ranked into different levels being ranked as ten or above were considered to be a person who can battle against godly existences though the average of people was much lower than that.
Because of the different types of energies used in jobs and the ways jobs worked, humans had divided into many kingdoms.
Vance wanted to know what kind of job he would receive. He really wanted to be a magic warrior or cultivator.
In the sacred hall of the temple, the hall was already packed with people waiting for their children to awaken their jobs.
A few moment's later an old man dressed in white robes with a golden trim appears.

"High priest" welcomed the crowd.
Upon the High priests arrival, people in the hall became quiet.
The high priest walked towards the center of the hall and channeled mana into an orb, when in the center of the hall, a bright hexagonal pattern shone in the air before forming a beam of light.
"Third prince, you first" said the High priest.
“Yes, High priest” the Third prince answered and stepped forward into the hexagonal pattern of the light beam. As the beam of light fell on the Third Prince, everyone in the hall focused on the Third prince who was now standing within the beam of light. The first princess’s face showed a faint trace of tension as she watched her little brother.
The beam of light wrapped around the Third prince for a brief moment before a white and red light took over, enveloping the Third Prince. Finally, a tall man dressed in majestic red dragon armor gradually emerged from behind the Third prince holding a shield and spear. It was a dragon guard job.
Everyone was stunned.
Seeing the job of her little brother first princess lightly smiles.
"Job: Dragon Guard
Grade: Average
Rank: 10
Energy: Mana, Blessing ",said the High Priest.
Now in the Dranait Kingdom, there are only three people with the Dragon Guard job including the current king, the first princess and now the third prince.
With a happy expression, the third prince exits the light.
"Kitt Ironhide" High priest calls
"Here!" he cheered as Kitt stepped into the beam of light.

Everyone is a Superhero! Apart from me
Welcome to Loktharma, where everybody is a superhero from birth. That makes Eugene De Lavet the most special of them all. At eighteen years old, he still has no clue what his superpower is. Loktharma has never been a fair world. There are Worldbreakers who were born to brandish the power of the universe, warp time-space, destroy lands and continents. There are Craftmasters who control the elements and terrorize countries with their might and wits. There are Commoners who are only gifted with power for the finer arts, architecture, military arts, or small-scale elemental manipulation. Even in an unjust world like Loktharma, there is always one constant: everyone is assigned a Flair since birth; the power to do something extraordinary. And then there's Eugene. He's been running around in a secluded forest since birth, training and sparring his ass off. While he can wield a blade better than most at his age, he certainly can't throw a giant boulder using the power of his mind, or turn his skin into diamonds. He has no Flair, no purpose for leveling up his stats, and no idea why General Rizeni Baggardo keeps him confined inside a forest for eighteen years. At least until Lord Pyro—the Craftmaster of Tailiah—unleashes his fury on the forest, searching for a treasure Eugene doesn't even know exists. On a frantic escape for his life, Eugene starts to realize he was a part of something he's been completely oblivious to until now. Along with his companions, Melodi and Azra, he travels the land and unveils the secrets of the world. [The story will be told primarily through the lenses of three main characters, with occasional side character POV chapters. It also draws inspiration from Japanese shounen. So only proceed if you're cool with these aspects.]

This is a story of two old men trying to free from the shackle of their destiny set in a future only to await their impending doom. This is a story of a dead god, and of a storyteller, trying to break from the bonds of the past. And as their stories go, one of them will face the events that unfold in their distant past, as the other one will unveil its mystery predicted by its future. Is it a mistake to challenge fate, after all? *** The world-building is set upon on the universal scale, with dungeon and old-style fantasy. It has a progression that follows with the consistency of a dungeon setting, although it's not what you call a dungeon, but a function of a crystal. There's a lot to take in this novel, but that's all within my intention. I have always enjoyed challenging conventional ideas. The cover is not mine, it's just temporary.
