This post is to address some of the "plot holes" that some people are talking about,

1) the orichalcum pod disappearance- he used ancient Babylonian runes to store it

2) three weeks without food - he had a hydroponic tank with him, remember. Both problems were addressed last paragraph of ch 4 :

The final problem I had was the large, and now rather useful pod I couldn't leave behind. In the end a simple 'store' and 'summon' rune from ancient Babylon fixed that problem so I was finally ready to go beyond the glade at the entrance of the mine shaft, and a good thing too , another day eating hydroponic algae and various herbs and I probably would have gone insane.

3) the AI knows too much about the changed world: not true , she only knows about mana which she has been studying for 700 years.

4) surviving 700 years without food, water, and energy: again not true. The generator and hydroponic tank where both inside the pod. The nanites are able to process waste material into raw material. Raw material + energy + hydroponic tank , you do the maths

5)how did he make the stuff in the cave. Oh come on he didn't actually shred the pod or anything, he just pried two pieces, do you really think that there are no pieces for him to use from a giant self sustaining pod?

Anyway don't be too serious reading this, just have fun and enjoy it. It is meant to be a fun read and if it is entertaining at least a few people I'm happy.
