Chapter 29: Youth Conclave of Achievers
================================
The Little Loli had her position upside down. He head was on the floor and her body and legs were on the couch that, for some reason, was only knocked back at an angle but didn’t completely flop over.
When the force of the explosion dissipated with the light and thunder, she also tried to straighten herself.
Her mind though, was still spinning and the sounds that are coming from her ears were all muffled and grunts.
She still couldn’t believe what had happened but all the more, she still couldn’t accept the rising suspicion in her chaotic mind.
“Could it be…” That was her first thoughts.
For her who obsessed herself in pursuit of power and strength, The Destroyer who is now called ‘Siva’ was the very image of that obsession of hers.
In fact, she even modelled her magic from his magic so how could she not be shaken when the looming thought of having just attacked her image of strength had just become true?
She twisted on the couch as if she had just woken up from sleep as she stood unsteadily. Even her hair is a mess and her pointy hat was thrown somewhere. She walked towards her hat and picked it up from the floor as her gaze became fixed and froze to the sight beyond the curtain of fog and smoke.
In front of her was a devastated place, the door to the High Magistrate’s room was shattered and the ceiling had crashed down to everything, revealing a place of utter ruin. Dust clouds along with debris and rubbles were scattered everywhere. The temple was turned into a house that had just been bombed in just a single moment.
All because she provoked… him.
“I-I-I did… this…?” Even though the words came from her, she still couldn’t believe what had just happened.
The High Magistrate was nowhere to be seen, even the other High-Ranking Magistrate from the third and second floors were nowhere close to them.
The stairs were a wreck. The pillars of the third floor broken and fallen, the ceiling in the waiting room fell and everything around the center of the explosion was utterly destroyed… even the floor.
Despite the rubbles and the clouds of dust that floats around her, a silhouette could be seen standing –no, floating amidst this chaos.
That man then saw her walking with shriveled hair and then spoke, “I won this staff fair and square.”
After he said that, he started to float towards her.
Every step he made was constant and in a steady rhythm but to her, it felt like he was a mountain who was crashing at her like a meteor.
Advertently, she stiffened her body in fright, she froze there while standing, and she closed her eyes, not even willing to look at how she will meet her end.
But there was only a gentle wind that passed her by followed by two taps of feet landing on carpeted floor. She opens her eyes to see no one in front of her nor was any part of her body taken away. She turned her head and saw Siva in the High Magistrate’s room, digging on the cabinets and the drawers on his desk.
The Little Loli was flabbergasted for a few moments before hearing moans of people as well as a few wails of pain coming from the floor below.
Apparently, everyone nearest to ‘Siva’ was either annihilated or has been blasted off like her.
Having collected her wits, she tremblingly held her wand and then pointed it at him. She waved her hand, casting the same spell again but just on the third wave, Siva turned his head and met her gaze. She felt like a squirrel who committed a crime in front of a lion as her hand froze and she dropped her wand.

Eye to eye with that monster, even in her strongest state inside her thoughts, she would still stop like this with her pinkish lips trembling in fright.
“I-I-I…” She wanted to say some excuse to defend the mistake she almost made but no words came out of her and she stuttered while feeling the strength in her legs leave her.
But the man didn’t say anything. Instead, he stood straight while gazing at her and then started to walk with large hasty steps.
In her fright, she fell on her bum and kept on staring at his horrifying gaze. For some reason, she can’t pull her eyes off from those red overbearing eyes.
And just when he was just two steps away from her, she closed her eyes and covered her head, curling her body like a ball.
But no touch came in contact with her skin and when she opened her eyes, to her horror, the red eyes was just a few inches away from her face.
“Excuse me.”
“Kyaaaaa-blueerggh…”
She screamed for a second and on the next, she fainted and her NLD forcefully logged her out when the security features sensed the sudden rise in mental strain, leaving only an empty avatar with bubbles on her mouth.
Looking at the Loli, Siva only made a sigh as he ignored the misunderstanding.
Looking at the thing in his hand, he felt satisfied. It was a scroll that was a hand thick and even just with an eye’s glance, one could tell that with the thin paper, the contents of the scroll is undoubtedly profoundly valuable.
“Now I have the record.” He said and was just about to make his escape when he heard people shouting from the floor below. “No time to waste!”
He exclaimed and summoned his Flight Armor, storing the staff on his inventory.
With a boom, he pierced through the shattered ceiling of the temple and then to the sky, straight towards the northern district. Siva never knew what had happened in the temple and he never even had the slightest inclination to know what the people in there will be doing next.
He flew for an hour before reaching half of the city. As flight speed was prohibited on exceeding 150kph within the city air space, his speed of reaching the central and southern district boundary has taken a longer time.
But still, Siva was glad that no one followed him. The people in the temple were all busy trying to think and come up of what had happened in there.
He landed on a park and changed gears into his Volume Hunter set. And with a light jump, summoned a hover board that he used to travel on land and then proceeded to the deepest part of the park’s small forest.
In there, he summoned the capsule that contained a polar tent and then proceeded inside to activate its camouflaging function.
After this did Siva only sighed in relief and didn’t waste time as he summoned a Scanner.
Placing the Scanner on the table, he placed the scroll above the item and it floated above it as the cursor light scanned the item itself.
After a while, the scanning was completed and the records were now shown on Siva’s player display.
“Sigh… I never really wanted to resort to this kind of means to get it but circumstances and situations were not really my forte.”
Recalling how many times he’s been misunderstood now, Siva could only lament regretfully for not being able to do anything to correct those misunderstandings.
Still, he was satisfied because the same results he’d wanted are now in his fingertips.

“I just have to integrate the Weapons Builder set into my inventory and I can finally become a Smith.”
Thinking about it makes him excited.
Smiths, or Blacksmiths in most games, were player or NPC professions that deal with the manufacture of weapons and equipment.
An Enchanter in RPG: Terroa is equivalent to a branch of that profession, dealing with the Enchantment of Magic Talismans so that players can use magic.
The record is a very valuable item of the Enchanters’ Temples. They are the very essence of their business and as well as the secretly gathered information of this art that had been passed down for many innumerable years of Terran history.
For it to be stolen in such manner would surely incite a man-hunt operation on the part of the Enchanters Association and from this day forth, Siva had just become the most wanted criminal of this city.
Looking upwards, Siva heaved a long sigh as he closed his eyes, trying to dissipate the incoming estranged thoughts.
“I just made another enemy…” this was his greatest regret and probably his biggest weakness.
For everything he does for the sake of acquiring power at the shortest way possible, he always gains one additional enemy.
For the next few hours, he waited for the entire set of the Weapons Builder items to be installed in his inventory. He recalled Janus’ warning and even though it will become a burden when upgrading the Inventory Slots, he still proceeded with the installation.
For the next six hours, all he did was reorganize and reorder the information he received from the now useless Scanner.
He destroyed the item and created catalogs and a few classifications to arrange the information.
Categorizing each item into effects and uses was the most reliable way to determine a monster item’s usefulness.
The resources and different kinds of materials in the list that wasn’t in Siva’s memory had proven to be the most essential things he had gained in this endeavor.
Despite the drawbacks of his mission in The Temple, he still gained the information he needed.
“With all the items I have, I can either improve one item and create more supporting forms or combine the monster materials to create a few S-Class ones to be assimilated into the Black Ball to finish the Black Tech Weapon… I have to choose. Combining all the materials I have now will result to only a few forms of the Black Tech but if I improve either of the Black Ender or Dragunov, then I can add at least one more form to the Black Tech that ultimately makes me stronger and more versatile –with the price of losing either one of them entirely into the process.”
Siva sat crossed-armed on the sofa inside the tent, eyes closed and thinking hard.
“If I choose Dragunov, then I will lose my Raijin once I dispel this curse. If I choose my Black Ender, then I will only lose my most beloved sword that can fight it out with a Demon Commander’s Dark Blade even in its A-Class state.”
The Black Ender’s most redeeming factor was its very rare and strong materials… Dragon Materials! Aside from that, the Forest Dragon’s element was its hard scaled skin which was also the Dragon Property that was inherited by the Black Ender.
It was this Dragon property that is on a higher grade than even the best S-Ranked monster material.
That’s why this weapon is able to cut anything that is above its rank but below the Dragon Rankings.
His current options were to (1) either improve the Black Ender or the Dragunov since those are the only two equipments that he has that can reach S-Class in just one improvement using the resources he has with him, then use the rest of his resources to create S-Ranked weapons to assimilate as the forms–
–or (2) use all of the resources he has right now and create new S-Class equipment items, then use the Black Ball with the final transformation to absorb them all.
“But the second option will only give me a Black Tech Weapon with one or two more forms lacking. It’s such a waste to not use those form-slots.”
The Black Tech weaponry is a combination of the source of the Demon Commanders’ powers, the Black Ball, with the versatile all-forms Nano-Weapons Technology of the Human Race.
With the unlimited power source and flexible thought-controlled ability of NanoTech, the all-powerful Black Tech was invented.
In creating a Black Tech one must also consider the materials being used.
It’s not the monster materials but the materials here is the already complete weapon to be used to integrate the Black Ball. Because what the Black Ball integrates becomes its form when used.
FlowerLord’s Black Ball was extracted from a supreme Demon Commander and it’s the reason why it was powerful enough to produce 10 Black Spears or in short, Ten Forms!
She integrated not only her own Ceres –a sword, in it, but also a Spear, a Bow, and a Shield… that’s the reason why it can interchange into those forms.
But the number of times she can produce them had a max count of ten. She can either produce 5 powerful shields and then a Bow, then three spears, and then a sword. With that kind of set up, she can cover long-ranged, mid-ranged, and close-ranged attacking while still being able to defend himself five times the usual ability of a player.
It was this reason that FlwoerLord was such a powerful figure in the Circle of Illuminati.
The forms the Black Tech takes depends on the materials it integrated and its power depends on the grade of the Demon Commander the Black Ball is extracted from.
Her Ceres is the [core holder] and the rest of the forms were integrated like a supporting talisman.
It is also the reason why Siva was in a dilemma.
“I can’t sacrifice the Dragunov nor can I sacrifice the Black Ender as well. I can’t use the Mjolnir or any of the legendary weapons because their magical aspects are opposing the assimilating energy of the Black Ball… so my only option is to either improve one of the two and create new ones to add more forms or get another S-Rank Invention as the core holder to be assimilated but where am I going to get one?”
As soon as he asked this question to himself, a bell rang on his ear as an alert for an incoming call came.
Sending his thought, two windows popped up in front of him and he saw Thorn and Volt on different locations in a conference call.
“How are things?” Siva greeted the two. He doesn’t have his masks and so when he beamed a smile with his dark skin it actually looked hideous that the two wasn’t even able to summon the will to make a fake smile.
Siva ignored this as Volt spoke first, “Well, I was the one who called Thorn and I have some news to tell you guys.”
“Go on.” Thorn said. Siva remained silent.
“Well, just a few hours ago someone destroyed the Enchanters’ Temple in the Southern District of the city and there were eye witnesses that it was a man in a red-eyed white skull mask wearing a black Magician’s Robe.”
At this point, Thorn looked at Siva and Siva felt awkward trying to hide anything since the two knew who the only person in this city has that limited edition red-eyed skull mask.
“What did you do and how did it escalate?” Thorn asked. He didn’t bother to ask if it was him or not for he already knew it based only Siva not denying it.
“Well…” Siva scratched his cheek, embarrassed. “It’s because I ended up meeting some Little Loli who just happens to be Cedric’s rival. I wore a black robe and acted like a real Mage to see the High Magistrate and ask him to let me buy a copy of The Record. The girl recognized the staff I used in my disguise as Cedric’s staff and things escalated quickly. I ended up killing the High Magistrate and wrecking the Mansion.”
Thorn and Volt were stunned at his words.
Ended up killing a High Magistrate?
If this was just as simple as that, then perhaps some people would get into a coma. But to ‘end up’ killing a High Magistrate, a very skilled and powerful Wizard that is vised in every form of [Magic], just from being provoked by a little girl… is just too… mind destroying.
Not only that, it was one thing to kill the High Magistrate but to also wreck the Mansion… it was far beyond the word reckless, it wasn’t domineering, it’s also not bluntly arrogant… it’s just… fuck this!
There wasn’t any one word to describe how it is.
If there is one, then it’s just plainly him… Siva! This Mansion had just been Siva’d!!
Their eyes went wide and they couldn’t believe that for the first time in the history of RPG: Terroa, an invincible existence like an Enchanters’ Temple and what more, its High Magistrate were both crushed by a single person. If the people they knew would hear it from them, they would even say that it’s a hoax and that they were just bluffing.
But then Volt continued with beads of sweat, “Well, I can’t say that it’s a good joke because the entire story is already updated in the net.”
At his words, a third pop-up window emerged in their visions and a video started to play. In the video, a black robed magician can be seen surrounded by white mist and this white mist also covered the entire area around him.
The man was then confronted by an angry screaming High Magistrate while the cameraman then looked behind the High Magistrate to capture the expression of a terrified Little Loli who then began to flee with haste not even daring to look back.
Right after the third second when she did, the cameraman looked back at the black robed magician only to see a spark igniting a grand blast of blinding light followed by a thunderous sound before the video was cut and the cameraman dying.
When the video was finished, Volt was silent as Thorn had a look as if he was recalling someone.
Siva noticed this and asked, “You know her?”
“I’m not entirely sure but I think her little witch appearance looks familiar. Can you describe her to me?”
“Let’s see… she’s small. Large boobs. Petite body. A bit imposing, bossy, arrogant, adorable, small –did I say that already?– oh and she uses a wand. Very rare for Witches to use wands though. Oh, that’s right, she is a summoner.”
“Ah!” Thorn didn’t react at the first parts. Only when Siva said that she was a summoner did Thorn show any reaction. “Then there’s no mistaking it. She is that person indeed.”
“That person?” Volt and Siva was curious.
“Mn.” Thorn nodded. “If I’m not mistaken, her name should be Lolita Corals. She’s pretty young, actually, and is a very famous figure in Great Britain. She is an academic achiever and is also a candidate to attend the annual Youth Conclave of Achievers. Oh that’s right, you’ve been invited there last year, right?”

Ursus Ex Machina
Ozzy was a man of the wild. Raised in a remote village atop the world's mightiest mountain, he'd been taught to respect and revere the natural world. The realm he was born into had been there long before him, and it would remain there long after him. Sure, there was the occasional madman who threatened to destroy it, but such boasts were always empty. No one individual was actually capable of demolishing this beautiful blue-and-green ball Ozzy called home. No matter what terrible magics these villains wielded, they were incapable of causing permanent harm to the environment. Even if the planet was completely devastated, it would recover. Life would find a way to flourish, same as it always had. That was what Ozzy believed from the bottom of his heart, so he never once felt the need to save the world he loved. After all, it was never truly in danger. The world would be fine no matter what. The people were a wee bit endangered, but that was another story altogether. However, what would happen if Ozzy suddenly found himself devoid of his beloved wilds? What would the man do if the realm he knew - one of wonder, magic, and chaos - was replaced with a man-made environment of concrete, industry, and steam? Ozzy could never imagine such a thing happening, and yet that was his new reality. After losing a fateful confrontation with a mad wizard, he and his friends found themselves transported to a strange world so thoroughly alien that every waking moment feels like a fever dream. Separated and scattered to the four corners of this land, each of these adventurers will need to adapt, survive, and overcome if they hope to reunite. They would also need to do so quickly. The sooner they are able to find one another, the sooner they can figure out a way back home and have another crack at putting an end to the villain's plans. Whether such a thing was actually possible in a world with barely any magic in it was a valid concern, but Ozzy had more immediate things to worry about. For instance, why did the air smell like a perpetual forest fire? How did ships sail through the sky as if it were water? And most importantly, was the pavement he was hurtling towards at high speed much softer than it looked? Probably not, but a man could hope.
