3 year has passed since Hu Die was reborn. Her name was no longer Li Hu Die. It was now Du Yu Lin. When Yu Lin was just born she could not understand the language that her mother or father used since the only languages she knew from her previous life was the human language, and the beast language. Her mother spoke the in the Elf language, and her father spoke in the Troll language making it difficult for her to understand. She did understand when her parents spoke to each other because they used human language when talking to each other. After 3 long years, she finally could grasp the two different languages.
Yu Lin learned from her parents talk that they lived in a village named Glorious Forest that was in located in the Green continent. In her previous life Yu Lin was a skilled Healer. As a Healer she had to remember difficult recipes, chantings, and procedures to save someone’s life. Yu Lin was skilled in memorization.
In her previous life she loved to go on adventures so she memorized the map of the whole world, which took her at least two years. There were continents in this world. They were called the Sun, Dark, Snow, Middle, Green, Sky, Beast, and Fog. When she was Hu Die, she was born in the Sky continent, in a city call Heavenly Clouds. The Green Continent was quite far away from Sky continent with the sea seperating the two continents.
Yu Lin was worried about the situation in the Sky Continent. She wondered if Shan Qi Long and her sons were doing well. Yu Lin knew that Sky Continent would not handle her death well. She was the only Grandmaster ranked Healer in the Sky continent. There were eight ranks, with ten levels in each rank. The ranks were placed in colors starting with the lowest being Bronze, Copper, Iron, Silver, Gold, Master, Grandmaster, and Legend as the highest. Yu Lin knew that there were only a few 5th Leveled Gold Ranked healers when she died. There was no one higher.
Yu Lin feared that at the worst Sky Continent would plumage after her death. She was afraid that the Emperor would do something outrageous to avenge her death. However much she was worry though, she could only wait until she grew older.

Yu Lin wasn’t used to her new body yet as a child. She was very confused as two types of blood ran and chi energy ran through her. She was half dark elf and half troll. She didn’t know what her capabilities and weaknesses were. Although Yu Lin was able to walk, she tried not to speak so much. She knew it would shock her parents if she suddenly just started to speak perfectly.
Chou looked at his daughter with loving eyes. He was glad that his daughter was growing up fine. Usually when a dark elf and a troll breed, the offspring becomes ill, or dies. Chou knew it was risky but he had always wanted a child. He was happy that both his wife and daughter were healthy. He felt rejected by the child at first because she would always cried when she was in his arms, but that only lasted for about two months. After that the child only cried when she was hungry and needed a diaper change. Now she was able to eat food and could speak to him.
“We have such a beautiful daughter.” Chou said to Yo Mei. Yo Mei smiled looking at her happy husband.
Yo Mei knew how happy Chou was for she was also happy that the birth went well. She was scared that she didn’t go into labor when she was into her eighth month. She didn’t know if the baby was in danger, or if she was going to be able to deliver this baby afterwards.
Yo Mei knew the difficulties of mating between a dark elf and a troll. She had encountered other dark elves who were raped by trolls. All their offsprings ended up dying, or they ended up living a very short life. This was due to the different chi energies that ran through the dark elves and the trolls.
There were three chi energies that circulated every organism in the world. There is blue chi energy, red chi energy, and yellow chi energy. Elves of any type belong in the blue chi energy category. The blue chi energy gives the user a large chi center. This gave the elves an advantage in using their magic. Their attributes also contributed to this type of energy because it was the most flexible chi energy allowing its users to be very strong in one certain attribute. Although the blue chi energy gives the user a large chi center, it also gave them a disadvantage of having a weak physique. Even if an elf trained to be the very best, their physical abilities will only match that of a Iron ranked human.

The red chi on the other hand gave its user a powerful physique. Trolls, orcs, and dwarves all had red chi in them. Their bodies were sturdy and unless the weapon was sharp, or the opponent had high martial arts skill, harming a user with red chi was usually difficult. Despite giving the user an incredible physique it also gave the user a small chi center, and was the least flexible chi energy.
The yellow chi energy out of all the chi energies was the most neutral. The humans and beasts would contain this type of energy which allowed them to train in whatever martial arts they wished, however since the yellow chi energy was a neutral energy it did not give them an advantage in any specific areas. The yellow chi energy was also the easiest energy to transfer to another organism which allowed the humans and beasts to have a higher medical field than the other two.
Yo Mei knew the basics of all the energies. She also knew that although blue and yellow chi energies can mix in an offspring, but red did not mix well with the other energies. This was because red interfered with both energies and it was not flexible. It created chaos in the user’s chi center which would destroy the user’s chi center causing death in many of the infants that were breeded. This gave the trolls, orcs, and dwarves a restriction to only mate within these three species, which also gave them a low population because the women of these species were fertile for only a short while of time each year.
Despite know all the difficulties Yo Mei still wanted to have this child for her husband Chou. Yo Mei loved Chou very much because Chou was the kindest person she had met her whole life. During their first encounter she was close to killing Chou because she thought Chou was threatening the life of the people in the village. After she observed him for a while though she realized that he was helping out the whole village with the difficult infrastructure and architecture. His kindness attracted Yo Mei to him, but Chou was still shy at first and was scared to accept Yo Mei. Eventually Chou gave in to Yo Mei’s persistence and they got married.
“Now that you have a daughter you don’t care for me anymore?” Yo Mei frowned at her husband, teasing him. Chou looked fluster as he shook his head.
“No, how could I not love you my beautiful wife?” He gave his wife a hug, his face on her stomach. Yo Mei giggled as she stroke the few strands on her husband’s head. Her smile faded away as she thought about the future of their child.
“What if she can’t practice martial arts in the future?” Yo Mei said as she watched Yu Lin paint on paper. Chou backed away and looked up at his wife’s face. He can see the worry in her face and he pulled a chair over. He stood on the chair, meeting her eye level and smiled gently.
“Even if she can’t practice martial arts in the future, we will still love and be here for her.” Chou said as he stroke Yo Mei’s face gently. Yo Mei looked at her husband and immediately the worry disappeared from her eyes. She embraced him and his face flushed red before embracing her back.
