“Little B-B-- Panda…” He almost called himself ‘Little Brat’.

“Little Panda? What an odd name…” Madam Passion gave him looks of doubt, but she did not go any further than that.

“Say, young man, where did you learn to move like that? For a beginner like you to give two lightning-quick jabs at that Inferno Panda’s weak spot, even I doubted my eyes at first, almost missing it, too.”

Madam Passion’s eyes were filled with interest.

“Oh, that was its weak spot? I had no idea.” Yin Xian laughed.

“Playing a fool now, are you? Well, that’s fine too. Young man, how about doing me a favor?”

Yin Xian’s eyes shone with interest upon hearing that she wanted a favor. “A Quest?”

With a mysterious smile on her face, Madam Passion handed him an empty potion bottle.

Upon receiving the empty bottle, a screen appeared before him.

“Give me the details,” he said.

“I have been looking for someone to help me fill that bottle up with Luminous Water that can found in the depths of the Luminous Cave. However, that place is a dangerous cave that’s home to many Powerful-Grade beasts, so help never came. I hope you can help me.”

“How powerful are Powerful-Grade beasts?” He asked.

“The weakest beasts around are Normal-Grade, and Powerful-Grade beasts are merely one grade above that. While they are not all that powerful, it will be extremely hard for beginners like you. However, I have seen your strength, and out of the countless humans I have seen, you are the strongest, by far, too…”

“I understand, I’ll get this Luminous Water for you.”

Yin Xian cooly walked away---

--- Only to stop walking and turn around with an awkward expression on his face.

“Where is this Luminous Cave, again?” He chuckled awkwardly.

Madam Passion showed him an indifferent smile and pointed southeast.

“Two miles away from here is the entrance to this village; just walk straight, and you’ll enter the Silent Forest. Once you’re inside, you should see a triangle-shaped rock. Stand in front of the sharpest edge with your back touching the edge, and walk thirty steps forward, twenty step to your left, ten steps to your right, and finally, take three steps forward. Any missteps and your soul shall wander in the Silent Forest… for all eternity…”

“Uh…”

Yin Xian’s jaw loosened just listening to her give directions. What is this place, a hidden maze? Is this really a beginner’s village where noobs like him gathered?

Madam Passion silently watched as Yin Xian slowly disappear into the crowds, thinking to herself. “Although I feel bad for giving him such a request, it should be fine with his strength that could render even an Inferno Panda powerless.
