“Dad, you don’t work today?”

Lucien walked into the house with his big bag when he saw that his dad was the one opening the door for him. He had just arrived home from the eventful school trip.

It was Friday around 11 am. His dad was supposed to go to work and come back late at night as usual.

Stevan only chuckled at his son question. He then looked at Lucien with a proud smile as he said, “You really made it big there, son! Now you’ve become so popular!”

“What do you mean?” Lucien tilted his head innocently. He had a confused face, not understanding what the old man was saying.

“Hehe, son, you can hide it from the whole world but not from me, your father!”

Stevan’s voice then turned into something of a teasing. “Alright, Mister Hi-ka-ri-He-ro! Hahahaha!”

“Noooo!” Lucien became so embarrassed hearing that name.

“What a girlish name! Hikari Hero, Ahahaha!” laughed his dad, not caring about him at all.

Lucien felt like digging himself a hole and jumped in to hide.

“Darling, stop teasing our Lulu-chan already! Don’t you see that he doesn’t like that name?” Hearing the commotion from the front door, Kathlene left the living room.

“Wuuu, mom is the best!”

Lucien hugged his mom like a child.

“Welcome back Lulu-chan!” said Kathlene as she hugged him back.

“Luuu… harggg…” Crawling on the ground, Lala stretched her hand toward him.

“Awww, Lalaaaa,” Lucien felt like his heart was melting from the cuteness. He carried Lala in his arms as he sent his dad a smug face.

Stevan became jealous instantly. Whenever he tried to carry Lala, she always cried. He also wanted to carry this baby angel too!

“Lala, let your dad carry you too.”

“Go away, dad! You’re gonna make my cute Lala cry again!” Lucien dodged Stevan’s hands and mocked him. Lala also made a sad face. Her little mouth curled into an upturned ‘U’ shape.

“Tch, you unfilial son! I’m your dad!” Stevan could only stomp the wooden floor angrily. However, he then felt a biting chillness from the side.

“Darling! What did you just say to my Lulu-chan?” Kathlene grabbed her husband’s shoulder rendering him powerless.

“F-Forgive me, my dear lord wife! Our son is the best. Right, he is the cool Hikari Hero!” groaned Stevan as he begged his wife.

“Dad!” Lucien’s face became red again from embarrassment.

“Luuu... Heekareee..,” giggling Lala cutely. She seemed to find the word funny.

“Argh,” Lucien felt like spitting a mouthful of blood.

“Hahahaha,” laughed his dad and mom together. His dad also kept yelling ‘Hikari Hero. My son is a Hikari Hero!”

“Mom, you betrayed me!”

Kathlene covered her mouth with her hand as she continued to giggle. Then, her face became serious.

“Alright, darling, don’t tease Lulu-chan anymore!” She embraced his head and said to her husband.

“Our son doesn't like the word Hikari Hero. Although Hikari Hero doesn’t sound that bad in my opinion, if he doesn’t like to be called Hikari Hero, then don’t call him Hikari Hero anymore”

‘Are you serious, mom?’ Lucien’s face became emotionless as he slowing distanced himself from his mom’s embrace.

He felt like kicking his dad who was trying so hard not to laugh.

“Lulu-chan?”

Looks like his mom wasn’t joking either because she seemed to be genuinely confused.

“Mom, where’s Alicia?” asked Lucien dispassionately as he handed Lala to his mom.

“I think she’s in the backyard.”

Kathlene saw her son walked away quietly but quickly, she thought, ‘Is he missing Alicia-chan that much?’

“Oh right, Hika- son, your uncle will arrive in an hour for lunch. Don’t be late!”

Although it was called a backyard, the area was not that big as they were living in Tokyo. Still, having a backyard behind a house in the capital city could be considered luxurious.

There were many bushes and flowers planted around beautifully. A small pond was situated in the corner beside the two wooden chairs and a table. This place gave off a feeling of a small paradise.

In the middle was a big tree, which was where Lucien slept on every night. The habit of sleeping on the tree branch was irreversible for him. He had already addicted to it as the tree always made him feel safe.

Under the big and shading tree stood an angel on Earth. Although she looked like a modern housewife with her casual clothing, she was otherworldly beautiful.

Her white smooth skin was like a shining pearl under the sunlight and her half light blonde half pink long hair was flowing in rhythm with the occasional currents. Although she was young, her seductive figure was destructive.

Even though Lucien had been living with her for over two years, he couldn’t help but be mesmerized by her peerless beauty.

Alicia should have already noticed him when he stepped into the garden, however, she continued to water the tree and flowers, not say anything.

‘Hahh… She is completely on the different league compared to Rina.’

Lucien actually missed her a lot. Although he met her last evening, it was just a short period and he spent most of the time napping on her laps.

Feeling warm seeing his cute girlfriend again, Lucien hugged her from behind.

Thud!

His face then smashed into the ground as Alicia dodged him skillfully.

“What the heck? Alicia, let me hug you!”

Attempting to hug her once more, he was dodged again.

Finally, Alicia stopped watering the plants and turned to him slowly. Her face was very stern. It seemed she was angry about something.

“W-What’s wrong? My dear-”

Slap!

Before he could finish his words, Alicia’s hand blurred and his whole body was blown away by a sudden impact.

“Lulu,” said Alicia coldly as the temperature dropped by several degrees. She slowly walked toward Lucien who was holding his swollen cheek with both of his hands. He could see a vein bulging on her fist.

“C-Calm down, my lord wife! There must be some misunderst-”

“Lulu!!!”

“Kuhok!”

Alicia punched Lucien’s stomach with a breakneck speed which he couldn’t even sense. Then a kick on his side, a chop on his head, and more.

Lucien couldn’t do anything at this point except getting beaten to a pulp. He was not able to cry for help nor counter her attack as it was impossible.

“What did you do at the airport, huh, Lulu!? You think I don’t know, huuhh? You dared to play with that bitch in the public toilet, especially while the monsters were rampaging outside!?”

Alicia started her venting by shouting at him but her punches and kicks didn’t slow down a bit. Instead, her beating became faster and stronger as she was shouting.

“You know how sad and angry I was!? I still remember the morning of that day where you kissed me before leaving! Fine, I saw you fought the sea of monsters, protecting the city even while you were injured. Seeing you covered in blood really hurts me so I forgave you. I even went to see you yesterday! But I was too kind!”

Bang!

By a powerful kick, Lucien’s face crashed into the wall. The bone of his nose was broken turning his face bloody.

‘You.. are..too… kind…Seeing..me..covered..in blood...hurts...you...’

Bam! Clash!

The wall then clashed down as his back was assaulted by her knee. It was amazing how he was still conscious at this point.

“Last night I missed you so much that I couldn’t sleep!”

‘You are..a..transcendant...you..don’t...normally...sleep..,’ thought Lucien with his almost malfunctioned brain.

“So I looked for you in the early morning while you were on the airplane! And you were having a great time with that same bitch of a classmate, huhh!? Feeding a chocolate, huhhh!!! Say, Lulu! Is that bitch your girlfriend or am I!?”

Right now Alicia was sitting on his chest and barraging his face with her supersonic punches.

‘I...have..to...answer...her..before..it’s..too...late…’ Lucien tried his best to open his mouth. He felt the need to grasp this last straw.

“Of..co-”

Bam!

“Answer me, Lulu! Why are you quiet!? Is your feeling for me all but a lie?” Alicia’s voice wavered a bit as she was about to cry. However, her 700 combos didn’t end.

‘fuck...how..am I...supposed….to say....anything..’

After a few minutes, only when her combo reached a thousand did she stop. Alicia laid down on his chest, quietly sobbing.

“ali..cia…” Lucien who was beaten until his mom, dad and Lala wouldn’t recognize him said in a low voice.

Alicia lifted her head up slowly. Tears could be seen on her face while her eyes were red from crying. She looked at her boyfriend with a sad gaze.

“make...it....fast..and…...clean…....”

And then Lucien fainted just like that.

“Noooo, Lulu! I’m sorrieee. Wake up Luluuu! You can’t die!”

Alicia shook his shoulders like crazy, trying to wake him up.

She took out the potions from his pink spatial she gave him and poured them on the wounds on his whole body. She was literally bathing him in potions.

Cough! Cough!

“Lulu!” beamed Alicia. She then wiped out the blood on his face with her shirt.

Feeling a hand touching her cheek softly, she turned her gaze on him. Lucien smiled warmly as he looked at her, “Rina is a bitch. I won’t interact with her from now on, no, I won’t talk to any girls except you, mom, Lala and senpai.”

Seeing Alicia furrowed her brow a bit, Lucien sweated and quickly added, “Ok, not even senpai. Senpai is a bitch too!”

“I love you, Alicia. You are the only one in my heart and soul. You are my princess, my world, and my everything. You make me certain that I can’t live without you, my beautiful girl.”

Seeing Alicia started to smile lightly, Lucien’s thought spun at an incredible speed thinking of the way to please his little girl.

“I am not myself without you by my side. I would rather die without you beside me. Holding your soft hand, I will carry you across the sea. Let everyone witness my everlasting love for you.”

‘Damn! That was my first time doing poetry!’ Thinking about the poem, he suddenly recalled a love song lyric from the internet.

With a cool but swollen face, Lucien grasped Alicia’s hand softly. Alicia was already blushing to the neck. ‘W-When did my Lulu become so handsome…’

“I know I’m far from perfect, Alicia. N-”

“No, you are already perfect, Lu- ooft!”

Alicia was then stunned by a sudden kiss from Lucien. Hiding the pain of his back from showing on his face, Lucien said coolly,

“Wait, let me finish, Alicia…. I know I’m far from perfect, nothing like your entourage. I can’t grant you any wishes. I won’t promise you the stars. But don’t ever question that my heart beats only for you.”

Lucien then put her hand on his heart. “It beats only for you, Alicia.”

“Wuuuu,” tears started to pour down on Alicia’s beautiful face again.

“I love you, Luluuu!!” Like her tears, Alicia poured her kisses on Lucien like a storm.

After a while, a small earthquake was echoing from the backyard.

“Son, don’t do it in the backyard!”

Lucien could hear his dad’s voice from within the house. However, the movement was so intense right now that he couldn’t stop. To be precise, Alicia wouldn’t stop.

He hugged her and jumped into her room through the window.

“Son, your uncle will arrive in fifteen minutes!”

‘Damn it! I need to hurry!’ thought Lucien as he looked at his girlfriend who was so indulging. She didn’t even hear his dad’s voice.

‘No choice!’ Lucien activated all his massage skills to the max, draining all his mana like crazy.

And they managed to finish just the time his uncle arrived.
