Her excitement gradually dulled as time ticked by without any sign of anything happening. Ada tapped her foot in impatience as she waited for the System, the name she has decided to give to the mechanical voice to respond. She knew that wasn't the most creative name but it was better than saying unknown loud mechanical voice in my head talking to me. Twelve point five seconds later, the voice finally resonated in her head:

...

...

...

...

...

...

"Oh my God! Can you stop talking?" Ada shouted. Since arriving to this world, her vocal cords have become a little stressed from all the shouting which has been due to both frustration and excitement. This time was clearly due to frustration.

Just as she was about to bash her head into a metaphorical wall, Ada suddenly had a moment of insight. She should be able to issue a command for this entity to stop talking. So far, interfacing with the System seemed to be like talking to a computer. If this System was using Linux, can't she figure out what process this is and kill it for the time being? She'll have to list out the processes since she wasn't sure if this entity was really called System. She thought:

...

...

...

Ada thought that God must have a strange sense of humor to give her a power where Unix commands actually worked in shaping reality.

...

...

Ada was a little surprised that her user name was not actually ada. She thought:

...

...

Bemused by her user name, she continued.

...

Instead of words this time, information entered Ada's brain which took a visual form. She could see a table inside her head without any booming voice. It was quite expansive with 137 processes currently active under her UID. She did a quick search for a process that might be the one and found one called systemhelper. Just in case, she thought and the robot voice boomed in her head:

"Oh, thank God!" she cried in relief literally thanking God.

Just before she was to say the command to pause the systemhelper though, she thought of what it told her that there were eighteen active users. One was obviously her but who were the others? With burning curiosity and a suspicion in her mind that they might be the other divine ones, she decided she had to know.

...

...

...

"I can't believe I was right," Ada said in shock. "I can try writing to any of them over the terminal but God did warn me to be careful. I really don't think they know I'm here yet. What should I do now?"
