Milly stumbles forward, her head turning back with every few steps. Is this really who she wants to become? But there is no way out of this, so she bites her lips and moves forward.

Marco watches with great interest, curious if she will really do it. Thinking about it, he reaches into his bag and pulls out another stone.

“Milly catch” he throws the stone in his left hand.

Hearing her name she turns around, just in time to catch the stone. As she holds the stone in her hand, she finally realizes he was serious. Taking a breath she rushes towards Hilda.

Seeing her run over Hilda is confused. She rises to her feet, ready to greet Milly. Suddenly a foot connects with her stomach, causing her to retreat a few steps and gasp for air.

Not giving her time to rest she sends a flying knee kick into Hilda’s face, causing Hilda to drop to the ground. Closing her eyes she sends a series of stomps into her chest, ending her life.

Hilda is only at the 6th gate of Qi gathering, no match for Milly’s 9th gate.

Marco arrives behind Milly, grabbing her shoulders he spins her around and pulls her into his embrace, her head buried in his chest.

A smile forms on his face as he looks over at Hilda, the real Hilda.

Milly has been under an illusion since the beginning of the duel. When he stretched out his hand he completely hid Hilda’s presence and replaced her with an illusion. He wanted to test if Milly really would listen to him and at the same time test Hilda.

Hilda is well aware of his illusionary powers, so when she saw Milly fighting air she could easily figure it out. One of the reasons he made Milly fight an illusion was to see if Hilda would alert her, which is why he did nothing to her. If she warned Milly he would have known for sure she is hopeless and killed her right then. He further tested her by speaking loud enough for Hilda to hear him when he told Milly to kill her. At that point there was no way for Hilda to know if Milly was still under an illusion, so all she could do was put herself into Marco’s hands.

This way of using illusions can only be done in the Kamui dimension, while he can make people see things in the real dimension he won't be able to make it feel like actual combat or make Hilda or himself disappear.

In the real dimension, the best he can do for now is making his opponent see a copy of him, but once they clash it would become obvious that it's a fake. But using it to confuse the opponent to see double is possible. That's assuming he's facing a Foundation building cultivator or Iron level Demonic beast. For Qi gathering and bronze, he can totally lock them in an illusion.

Milly begins to cry in his chest. “I killed her” sobbing she begins to shake her head “She was my friend and I killed her”

Marco begins rubbing her hair as he whispers in her ear. “It’s ok, it’s ok, you only have to listen to me and I’ll make sure you’re ok”

“I just have...to listen to you?” She continues to sob, as everything she believed in has constantly been broken.

Milly has been in the sect since she was 5 years old. All she's done for practically her whole life is train. She’s never left the sect since, and because it's a righteous sect she never ran into many problems. Sure there are a few douchebags and arrogant people, but Milly is strong! Those who have higher cultivation than her in the outer court won't have time to harass her, so this was the first time she's experienced something like this since she was 5. If she knew she kicked a steel plate that day, she would have been a lot nicer! But it's too late for regrets now.

Marco lifts up Milly’s chin, revealing her red eyes and puffy cheeks. He seals her lips with his own, stopping the sobs for a moment.

Seeing that she didn’t resist this time shows that she's starting to accept him, just a bit more and she will totally be his. He slowly pulls his mouth away causing her lips to chase his for a moment.

Due to her fate being in his hands she was unaware of how easily she is being manipulated. She's just too young and too innocent to properly deal with this, so she fell into his trap. “Chrium?!” Ezra is stunned at the revelation, but thinking about it, what he said isn't a lie. She vigorously nods her head as she looks at Milly.

Marco lays Milly down gently.

“Stay with her, we will be leaving in a moment.”

“Chrim” Ezra nods and flies onto Milly’s stomach. She looks at her exposed breast and compares them with her own, seeing her nipples aren't even fully protruded she shows a triumphant smile.

Seeing this Marco shakes his head as he walks over to the scar-faced disciple.

Hilda has been watching his movements this whole time, unsure of what to think.

Marco takes the pills and sword and puts them into his bag. He then walks over to Hilda.

Standing in front of her he gazes at her face.

“Where is Milly’s identification token.”

She doesn't respond but reaches into the bag around her waist. Its filled with all the things he has left in the dimension, like what's left of the food and tokens. They had to use the other bags for other things.

Taking out the token she hands it to Marco. Grabbing the token he sends in some Qi and feels Qi similar to Milly’s. He puts her token into his bag and gives scar faces bag to Hilda.

“Use those stones to cultivate.”

She grips the bag tight as she bites her teeth. “What will happen to me?”

Marco shakes his head “I don't know, we will have to see.”

She shakes her head “I don't have any hope of breaking through to the 7th gate, if you're going to kill me please do it sooner than later.”

Marco looks at her for a moment before turning and walking back to Milly.

He scoops her up into his arms. Looking back at Hilda one last time, a portal forms around his right eye. It sucks the three of them in, leaving Hilda the only living person inside.

A portal opens in his room and Marco appears holding Milly with Ezra riding on top of her. He sets her down on his bed as he looks around the room. The stone in his hand still has some Qi left as he switched it out with Milly after the duel, so he puts it back into his bag.

The barrel of dirty water is still there, reminding him that he just wanted to raise his Aura, then the scar faced disciple came.

“Chim ceuim!” Ezra begins flying around the room, happy to be back.

Marco stands in the middle of the room as the portal appears around his eye again, this time ejecting the disciple’s corpse.

“Best to deal with this now” placing his hand on the body he activates his intangibility powers, causing the corpse to sink into the floor. Leaving the corpse in the floor he brings his hand back up.

“How convenient, I have plenty of Aura to supply the stamina drain for Qi now, but the problem is I can't gather enough Qi to use my most powerful techniques! I need to open more gates…”

“Chrim Mrko” Ezra lands on his shoulder and pats his face, as she saw he was a little agitated.

Looking at her causes him to smile. Reaching into his bag he pulls out the 50 stamina pills he just got. He hands one to Ezra before popping one into his mouth.

She happily begins eating it, but Marco feels nothing.

Thinking that it was a fluke he eats another pill, but still feels nothing. His brows furrow for a moment before relaxing.

“I guess bronze cores do nothing for me now? I guess it makes sense, as it explains why stronger beast don’t massacre weaker beasts for their cores.” Nodding his head he walks to the desk and places down the container of pills.

“Ezra these pills are all yours, eat up.”

“Chim!” She hops off his shoulder and begins eating the pills.

Seeing this he walks over to Milly’s side and gently strokes her face.

He releases her from his illusion, allowing her to wake up. As her eyes stir his lips meet hers.

She slightly shivers before she realizes what's going on.

Sliding onto the bed he holds her in his arms.

She opens her eyes and realizes she's back in the normal world.

Seeing her look around Marco knows it's time to seal the deal, to make sure she fully falls and becomes his, before she has the chance to realize she is no longer in a world of despair and complete helplessness.
