Mortalis Locations

Arinean Sea: The central sea of Mortalis, carved seemingly from the continent itself. It houses a vast plethora of sub-regions, races, nations, and isles. The predominant presence in the Arinean are the Mer, whose capital city of Arinea rests in the northeast section of the sea. Due to the overwhelming assortment of ports, shipping lanes, and exotic locales to be found there, it is never still. Shipping is especially prominent and because of this, pirates are not a rare occurrence.

Wuudsaw: A small forest country nestled within the northern portion of Mortalis. Being so small and unimportant, Wuudsaw is quite isolated from its neighbors and thus is both shielded from worries of the outside world, while also being trapped within the nightmares of their own. Currently, Wuudsaw is ruled by a Vampire clan run by Kamra. With high taxes on everything included blood, and with dissension absolved through an iron fist, Wuudsaw is breaking under the vampiric authority.

Lonely Briar [Wuudsaw]: A small foresting village found in the eastern side of Wuudsaw. Recently they earned Kamra's ire to the point the entire village has been wiped out.

Swallow Lake [Wuudsaw]: A lakeside village near Lonely Briar.

Terms

Thalwesse: A being summoned from another existence entirely, the Thalwesse were said to be the ancient morphers and creators of Mortalis. They are highly feared because they are said to be outside the bounds of reality; mighty, unstoppable, threats to even the goddesses.

Hated: Also known as Pyrates, they are organized groups who hunt down sentient races and harvest them for organs, body parts, and blood. Most notorious are those that hunt the Mer for their life-lengthening blood.

Goddesses

Chaos [Goddess]: A crazy, partly sadistic, and a completely wild individual who summoned Chaon in order to cause chaos; with her specifications of chaos being very vague at best. Disliked by other goddesses and many nations due to her dangerous nature.

Luscious [Goddess]: Goddess of the underworld and patron god of demonkind. Supposedly enjoys war. One of the Three Moralities.

Lunastaera [Goddess]: Goddess of the Heavens. Supposedly prideful. One of the Three Moralities.

Poseidon [Goddess]: Goddess of the seas and oceans. Patron god of the Mer. Supposedly very calm. One of the Three Moralities.

Pandemonium [Goddess]: A goddess like Chaos, she likes to keep herself low-key and unnoticed. However, she is the most powerful and will occasionally show up and cause a cataclysm or major event to occur. Because of this, she is more hated and feared than even Chaos.
