Nonetheless Garius like an airhead glossed over it saying, "That's good! Don't hold back at all, let's fight until only one of us is standing!"Before the crowd could take in the exciting news, both cultivators, Dana and Garius already reached the stage.
Taking in the appearance of her opponent, Dana saw Garius was a strong looking young man, around 2 meters tall with a rough, chiseled jawline and piercing blue eyes.
Garius stared coldly at Dana as he stood opposite her in a battle readied position, he gruffly said, "I won't go easy on you for Chao Sung's sake, I will battle you with everything I have, I respect your strength, your by far the most talented person here, even above that wuss Chao Sung, but unfortunately you haven't cultivated long enough…"
Garius like any formidable enemy in manga's would do before battling the protagonist spoke a dramatic monologue to which Dana just smiled brightly to in response.
"Your the first worthy opponent I've faced all day, let's hope you don't disappoint me! I promise to not hurt you too bad, your way better than that dandy Chao Sung!" Dana said loudly causing the crowd to snicker.
Chao Sung wearing bright, stylish clothing resembling a clown face turned dark when he heard Dana's words.
"Let's see you have this attitude when I have you bent over…" Chao Sung felt a familiar presence behind him making him turn silent instantly.
"Showing rage over an enemy who will inevitably be defeated is pointless… that girl is only courting death, soon enough she will be yours, so will her friends and her mas…" upon finishing his sentence the Heavenly Noble Sect Master face turned lascivious as he thought of the stunning figure of Yueqin Wen ruining his sagely appearance.
Chao Sung stood on the side with a brief look of disgust, thinking 'Why do you act like your any better? The number of women in your halls even eclipses mine…'
"Yes Master…" Chao Sung said not revealing his true thoughts at all.
"Now let's watch Garius fight that girl, he's been your rival for a while, if he wasn't a bit younger than you and him having less resources he may even be a threat to you, this will give us a good look on that girl's ability…" the Heavenly Noble Sect master said.
The official by the side of the arena signalled for the match to start causing an eruption of cheers from the crowd watching as they stared at the two figures with great anticipation.
Garius did not hesitate at all as he threw his gigantic fist at Dana who was a bit taken aback at how quick he moved despite his size, nonetheless she still could still easily evade the blow.

This is what the both the crowd and Garius expected her to do, after all who would dare match him for strength?
He had both higher cultivation and also dual cultivated his body, achieving great success, even Chao Sung would not dare to match blows with Garius punch for punch, yet Dana subverted everyone's expectations.
'You think a Dragon with such a noble bloodline will be scared of matching strength with a human!' Dana roared internally ignoring the cultivation difference.
Despite Garius being a 5th stage core formation cultivator, a realm higher in cultivation than her, she still possessed great confidence that he was not her match!
*Bang!*
The collision of their fists created a shockwave which shook the area.
Garius who had complete confidence in his strength did not think at all that Dana would actually directly exchange moves with him.
He was prepared to follow up with combinations after she dodged his first attack, yet she met his initial blow with no hesitation at all.
Garius felt a shockwave travel through his arm from the impact of the strike as his huge body was forced to take five steps back.
Garius stared at Dana with complete shock, which was replaced by a bloodthirsty grin upon realising what this signifies.
Like a true battle manic, Garius said, "Yes! Let's exchange fists! That wussy Chao Sung always pricked me with his little sword whilst running away when we fight, finally a worthy opponent!"
A look of amazement filled the crowd as they saw the force of the two colliding, that look transformed into complete bewilderment when they saw Dana had the better of the exchange.
"Isn't Garius known for having the strongest physique among the younger generation? Even Zhang Ye and Chao Sung wouldn't exchange blow to blow with him, that muscle head is made of rocks!" A man exclaimed.
Zhang Ye and Garius was almost equal in the crowds eyes, both just below Chao Sung, they were both fairly evenly matched, making either of them the second favourite of this tournament in terms of bets.
Zhang Ye was a spear cultivator and is a sixth rank core formation cultivator though which usually gave him the edge against the fist fighting Garius, but still everyone acknowledged he was the most talented in terms of body cultivation among the younger generation.
"If you want to exchange blows with me that's fine! But just know that wasn't my full strength!" Dana grinned sending a chill down everyone's spine.
Nonetheless Garius like an airhead glossed over it saying, "That's good! Don't hold back at all, let's fight until only one of us is standing!"

Garius was a battle maniac who loves fighting yet he had never met an opponent similar to himself with a strong enough body to exchange blows with him unless he fought the older generation.
So this fight with Dana truly thrilled him.
*Bang! Bang! Bang!*
The collision of fists fill the arena as both Dana and Garius went all out.
At first Garius was able to hold his own but soon enough he was beaten black and blue by the dragon in human skin.
"What is that girl made off… oooph that look like it hurt!" A man shouted staring at the fight completely fixated on the brawl.
"A one sided beating… I even got a feeling the girl is holding back…" a capable cultivator in the crowd analysed.
Chao Sung on the other hand felt a chill in his Crown Jewels when he saw how vicious Dana was sending Garius staggering with each blow.
'Maybe it's not the best idea to try and bring this demoness to bed…' Chao Sung said starting to have doubts if he could tame such a woman.
That's when he again felt his Masters presence signalling he will speak to him.
"Disciple… kill that girl once you have the opportunity, playing with such a talent is unadvisable, she will be a threat to us if she is allowed to remain alive… and you must go all out with her, if you don't, you will lose… got it?" The heavenly noble sect master lectured.
"Fine I understand" Chao Sung replied grumpily a mixture of disappointment and relief that he doesn't have to try his luck with Dana.
Seeing the bloodthirsty grin on her face, a shiver of fear as the memories of that beautiful girl beating him so long ago filled his thoughts.
'No! She will not win! I will never lose again!' Chao Sung screamed internally throwing away the feelings of inferiority he felt towards that girl.
Since he got humiliated by that girl, he desired to ruin any talented and beautiful girl he seen as a dark way to get back his own.
Yet deep down he knew he was just too cowardly to face her.
'I will kill you Dana and bury the feelings of that memory forever…' Chao Sung said smiling evilly, he knew that by killing Dana the troubles in his heart would vanish.
This all depended on him defeating Dana though.
Meanwhile Dana hit Garius with another heavy blow staggering him.
Looking at the mountain of a man with black lumps covering his head, but still letting out a grin revealing the knocked out teeth she was starting to think this man was crazier than even her.
"If you don't stop… I won't hold back" Dana warned, not wanting give her such an honourably opponent a finishing blow.
Garius though seemed unperturbed, "Your dishonouring me if you don't give me all you got! Being bested by such a talented cultivator will be a blessing I will sing to my children!"
Dana sighed knowing the only way to stop this mountain of a man was to put him down for good.
"You asked for it!" Dana said.
Garius smirked and continued to throw punches of his own, Dana countered setting him up flawlessly for the perfect punch.
*Baam!*
Dana countered Garius's sloppy movements with the most vicious uppercut the crowd has seen.
Garius massive body was sent flying into the air, as the crowd thought his head would be separated from his body from receiving such a monstrous punch.
Collapsing to the ground in a heap, Garius laid there unmoving.
The crowd stared in a state of shock not quite believing what happened.
The official approached him checking his state as hearing the force of the punch he feared that Dana had punched the man to death, however confirming Garius was just unconscious finally he announced the results, "Dana has won!"
The crowd erupted in loud cheers, the elemental sect disciples being among the loudest.
Lavendia and Maia went crazy upon witnessing such a vicious brawl with their master emerging the victor.
Chao Sung and Zhang Ye stared at Dana with a look of caution finally taking her as a real opponent for the first time.
Yueqin Wen looked like a proud mother as she smiled bathing in the celebrations by the disciples, however feeling a cold, threatening gaze on her she turned toward its location staring at a middle aged man standing next to Chao Sung.
The man's face looked warm and friendly as he received her gaze, but the evil, dark look in his eyes could not be concealed from her.
Worriedly returning her look to Dana she promised in her mind, 'Whatever the cost she must live! Even if it means sacrificing everything!'
Yueqin Wen promised herself, Dana will not end up like her daughter.
Not even if she had to lose everything.

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
