《Beast Cultivating System》Chapter 76 - Arriving at the Heavenly Noble Sect

"Who would have thought that such a journey could be this boring?" Sulked Lavendia as the rest of the group rolled their eyes as they trotted forwards.
Originally, the group travelling to the Heavenly Noble Sect set out in high spirits believing that the journey is going to involve an adventure in which they are provoked by bandits, and that they will participate in many life and death battles all the way to the Heavenly Noble Sect. But, the group soon realised that this journey was anything but eventful, in fact it was completely dull with nothing of note happening at all.
And to Lavendia who's attention span is at the level of a five year old child, this ended up becoming a tortuous experience for the Dryad.
"This isn't meant to be some form of entertainment for you, we are attending a sect gathering meant to bring honour and glory to the Sect!" Exclaimed a righteous disciple.
"Well, then the 'honour and glory' of the Sect seems boring to me... I would rather beat guys up and steal their women, that's my way of bringing reputation to the Sect!" Said Lavendia as she swayed past the righteous disciple, 'accidentally' leaning her leg forward tripping him up.
The righteous disciple angrily got back to his feet as he icily gazed at Lavendia's back and said, "Seriously, Sect Master do we need to bring a lustful fool with us all the way to the sect gathering? Yes, she's strong but senior sister Maia is just as powerful as her, and from her actions she is more likely to destroy the Sects reputation then bring us honour at this Sect gathering!"
"Yes, I totally agree with this disciple, Sect Master!" Said Maia with a thumbs up to the righteous disciple supporting her 'wingman' to remove her rival.
"Alright you two, that is enough. I'm sure Sect Master has had enough of you guys arguing anyways. And I can ensure that Lavendia won't do anything to stupid at the gathering... she will be on a tight leash for the whole way through." Said Dana.
"Hmm. Whatever you say Dana, Yueqin Wen said you have a plan at this gathering. Make sure you follow this through well, I hate to say this but the Sect is probably relying on you. Under the suppression of the Heavenly Noble Sect it is only inevitable we will have to 'give in' to the greedy sects which want to devour the Sect, eventually. So whatever you have planning, ensure you make it out safe. As long as you are alive, your talent will eventually enable you to long surpass the Heavenly Noble Sect Master and Chao Sung, then you can deal with them as you wish." Said the Elemental Sect Head.

Dana nodded in response to the Sect Head as she turned to the direction of Yueqin Wen who throughout the journey to the Heavenly Noble Sect was silent and always in a stupor as if she was deeply thinking about something.
"Mmm. Like the Sect Head said, make sure you get out of this safe..." Said Yueqin Wen. Yueqin Wen already prepared herself to die since coming to the Heavenly Noble Sect, as she knew she would give up her life to ensure Dana's safety. Yueqin Wen didn't have much left in the world anyways, and she knew deep down that Dana was her best hope for revenge towards the Heavenly Noble Sect in the first place. So, to Yueqin Wen given up her life to save Dana's life is worth it.
Staring at Yueqin Wens face which seemed in deep thought, Dana said "I will Master, I promise you that I have a 'big surprise' in stall for the Heavenly Noble Sect."
Yueqin Wen just nodded in reply to Dana, not really taking much notice to what Dana said. As at the end of the day although she had a large amount of belief towards her talented disciple, even she doesn't have any thought that Dana could possibly shake the Heavenly Noble Sects foundations at all. After all it has been the undisputed ruler in this region for thousands of years, and it is deep rooted in her subconscious that the Heavenly Noble Sect is unbeatable in their own territory unless you had a cultivation level way above the Sect Head, something which Dana is a long shot off. So, it isn't a surprise for her not to put Dana's comment to any thought.
Seeing the look in her Masters eyes, Dana just smiled as the group continued to travel forward until they eventually finally entered into the Heavenly Noble Sects territory.
"Wow. I got to say even though I hate those pompous idiots, they do have an acceptable place." Said Maia, as she stared at the large gathering of Sect disciples who were lined up before a grand city. A city which walls were lined with all sorts of precious materials in this region, mainly serving to show off how rich and powerful the sect is. Of course the acceptable in Maia's eyes was actually amazing to get to that level, after all she was from a clan which is even more powerful than the Heavenly Noble Sect so she has definitely seen much more expensive places than this one. But, to the other disciples she just comes across as arrogant, as in their minds, she is calling the city which took the Heavenly Noble Sect innumerable precious materials, formations and manpower to build is seen only as 'acceptable' in her eyes.

Who is she trying to fool?
A disciple from another sect couldn't help it but say, "Mmm. No wonder the Elemental Sect has degraded to this point if they let such arrogant, foolish fellows into their Sect..."
Following this Sect disciple more and more other comments chimed in, "Yes I agree although she is beautiful, her haughtiness is really ugly. She is probably some shameless woman who slept her way into the Sect."
As the comments grow more and more insulting, Maia's faces turned angrier and angrier to the point were she clenched her fists about to show those rude guys a lesson.
But, then a hand laid itself onto her should as Dana whispered into ear, "No causing a commotion just yet, wait until the show begins. You will have the opportunity to beat these guys up all you want in the gathering, just be patient."
Hearing Dana's words, Maia immediately calmed down as the group ignored the disciples as they continued to march towards the city in which the Sect Gathering is taking place.
"Shows the fool right, what gave her the confidence to look down on the great Heavenly Noble Sect, am I right? She is probably just boasting to attract another guy to latch herself onto, what a slut." A female sect disciple muttered with jealously in her eyes as she thought back to Maia's beautiful appearance.
"Yes, what a skank I wouldn't want a woman like her, even if she laid naked in front of me" Said a sect disciple.
Although they said these comments as if they were reprimanding a foolish woman in reality they were only looking to curry favour with the Heavenly Noble Sect. After all wasn't it a good opportunity to gain a good impression from the Sect? And it was only the Elemental Sects disciple stupidity which gave them such an opportunity.
The Heavenly Noble Sect disciples proudly raised their heads as they witnessed all of the disciples praising their sect, as if it was themselves who were the ones being admired. In the end weren't they right? They were the strongest and most powerful Sect in this continent, it is only right for them to be praised.
Following the run it with those disciples, the group continued to make their way to the city as they joined the long line of disciples who were awaiting entry within.
As they progressed through the line eventually reaching their gates to the city, a bored looking disciple without even looking up said, "Five peak Qi circulation realm monster cores for the entry of your group."
"Just for gaining entry to the city? What a rip off no wonder this place makes so much money from this competition, they are charging this much just to enter the damn city..." Said Lavendia.
"If your dissatisfied with the price, then just forfeit your place in the sect gathering. Don't blame us if your resource quota gets reduced..." Sniggered the bored looking disciple.
"We have no concerns about the price." Dana said as she slammed down the five cores before dragging Lavendia passed the city gates.
The bored disciple awoke from his daze as he finally reacted to the groups appearance. "Hmm it seems Chao Sung is going to be lucky this year with such beauties available" He commented as he continued charging the disciples for entry to the city.

Touch
Touch is a story about a boy named James, and his friends: a group of young, superpowered people brought together by trauma; all trying, in their own ways, to come to terms with what that trauma means to them and who they want to be in response to it. This is a learning process, and mistakes are made, but they grow, learn, and adapt to these difficulties in ways that some might say only young people can. While it may look it at first, this is not intended as a sad story, merely an honest one. I wanted to make the characters human, and unfortunately, that means that difficulties hit them in very real ways through the story, but then again, they have some equally human moments of warmth between one another as they grow. Triggers: Explores the aftereffects and recovery process of sexual abuse, and some other forms of physical abuse. I like to think I avoided making it edgy, but you deserve to be informed. Some readers have told me that it can feel a bit too real at times. A bit too honest. If you like what you read, feel free to comment or review. I like the feedback. Realm || A Game Of Thrones Fanfiction
'I think deep down inside, everyone likes to see themselves sitting on the Iron Throne. Some just refuse to listen to their desire for power. Others give in to it. And others let other people do the hard work for them. But no matter who you are or have become, no matter what your heart desires or how much power you would like to gain; we will all burn if we don't stand strong together.' || This is a Game of Thrones fanfiction. The story takes place somewhere at the start of season 7. This fanfiction does not follow the entire plot of the new season. Some characters are not where they should be according to the actual story. I do not own Game of Thrones, nor the characters. I do own Anthea Lannister and some other characters.||
