After digesting the information, Dana began to wonder why would this 'Mysterious Expert' even trust her in facing Azariel in the first place?

But, this is soon answered as the Mysterious Expert seemed to have wanted to be honest towards her, as, with the memories provided towards her, many include his intentions towards having Dana as the hope of the Realm.

What Dana mainly gathered is that they basically found that not one person would be born within the Secret Realm which has enough potential to defeat Azariel, showing just how terrifying of a being he truly is.

Therefore, instead of wasting resources by putting it into the individuals with the strongest potential until Azariel eventually broke out of the seal, they decided to take a risk by investing into her.

Why did they hope Dana would deal with Azariel?

Mainly, because, Azariel slaughters anyone indiscriminately, which will include Dana herself, and he actually seems to prefer the ones with the strongest potential, in addition to the highest cultivation. Thus Dana would most likely be dragged into this battle whether she liked it or not.

They also hoped that Dana would have some form of attachments to the Realm itself, due to her being born there, therefore likely having a family and friends, so she would have to stop Azariel to prevent him from not only destroying her birthplace but lose the lives of the individuals she cares for.

Witnessing the reasons they gambled into putting their hopes into her, she thought it was they were fairly unfortunate, as the second reasoning would apply to practically anyone but her.

Although, since coming to this world, she has formed friendships such as the one with Oldman Zhao and had a pleasant feeling towards the Azure Continent itself due to her spending time with many people there, with it also being the first area she has been in since coming to the World.

It doesn't mean she would put her life on the line to save the Azure Continent, as although she would help them if she could that doesn't mean she would sacrifice her life in exchange.

However, due to Dana not having enough time to leave the Realm, then she knew that she would eventually have to confront Azariel, not to mention he must have some secret on him if he is that powerful, thus the moment she heard about him, he piqued her interest.

Why?

Because what if he possessed some a powerful bloodline or a powerful artefact, there are many possibilities, therefore Dana wanted to progress her strength as much as possible, to not only have the capabilities to defend herself against him but if possible to defeat the man himself.

Another thing Dana seemed to notice is her head felt strange, to describe the sensation it's as if her mind has suddenly become clear.

But, as she began to remember the past few weeks, with her 'Treasure hunting' tendencies, Dana's face began to turn redder and redder from embarassment.
