《Beast Cultivating System》Chapter 55 - The Lustful Snake

With Dana's eyes scanning like a hawk for treasures as she bulldozes through the swamp, slaughtering every beast she came across, previously one of the deadliest areas of the Secret Realm became a playground for Dana as the original fearsome beasts ended up becoming like a bunch of pigs to the slaughter as they came across Dana.
As the beasts within the Swamp gained a reputation from both their poisonous and water attributes, their primary source of the attack was useless in front of Dana who was not even in the least affect by any attack from them, causing her to butcher the beasts of the swamp in the dozens.
Consequently, causing the various beasts fleeing into hiding straight after seeing even the slightest shadows of the Frost Wyvern, giving Dana a fearsome reputation among the beasts due to her mass-killings.
As a result of this strange event, the human cultivators started to wonder why the beasts who usually acted so fiercely seemed to be running for their lives out sheer fear.
But, as they benefitted because of it as it allowed them to go to the inheritances they wanted and even allowed them to pick up a few treasures, therefore shortly these thoughts ended up being quickly discarded.
Of course, Dana gained the most valuable treasures, as nothing worth even the slightest of value could escape her sharp gaze as she plucked the most valuable spirit fruits within the Swamp.
Due to the Spirit Realm is within a peaceful environment for eleven months with a high amount of spiritual energy, even more, bountiful than the outside the world, then the herbs contained within were many times superior to those found outside, well for the Tier 3 Sects anyways.
And as Dana has a technique to locate the treasures, she even found many spirit herbs which wern't taken in the previous years, either because of they were hidden to well or guarded by too strong of a spirit beast to retrieve.
Finally founding she has taken everything of value within the Swamp, she headed swiftly towards the next trial.
A few hours later and she has soon found the entrance to the only Swamp inheritance which none have completed.
Quickly after entering, another voice sounded within her mind, similar to the old fogie within the Desert area, in being very imposing as it previously belonged to a powerful expert. Thus the charisma of a top master couldn't be concealed.

"A Frost Wyvern? Interesting, I have already received word from that Old Fogie within the Desert of you, and I got to say neither of us within the five areas have spoken to each other within hundreds of years, until now. Well, I can tell he wasn't lying as you do contain the Hydra bloodline within you, even with you hiding the multiple heads he mentioned."
Contiuing the voice said, "My trial is different to the previous one you experienced, there will be a guardian but... it will provide you with a different test. In fact I'm rather intrigued about what your reaction will be..."
Hearing the eerie laughter of the old fogie as he finished speaking, Dana had a sudden bad thought about this inheritance.
Well, this was an area to do with poison and the water attribute, thus making this old man presumbly a poison expert within his prime with also mastery over the water attribute, and as these type of experts tend to have an eccentric personality, then this inheritance shouldn't be a pleasant experience.
Instantly being teleported within, Dana found herself within a large chamber full of gas-like substance, presuming it to be poison, Dana soon found the guardian, but weirdly it was looking at her with a strange light within its eyes.
Seeing the guardian looked like a type of serpent, she suddenly found the look within its eye similar to that which the young noble brats give her.
No way, this can't possibly be the truth? There is definitely some misunderstanding going on here.
But, hearing the systems sudden loud non-stop laughter, she soon found why it was seeing this situation amusing, as this was the first time within this world that she saw a beast sexually interested in her beast-form.
The Serpent was huge and was even bigger than Dana, but that was purely in length and not width which she had a clear edge on the snake.
Suddenly the Serpent spoke shocking Dana even further, hissing while saying, "Well are you my reward for being here so long? Hsss, you look like the perfect mate. Such wide hips... very good for breeding and not to mention your beautiful face, I haven't seen such an appealing snout within all my years. I am very pleased with my reward in receiving such a fine mate as yourself."

Hearing the lustful snake chattering on about her made Dana even further freaked out by the events taking place, she was disturbed once again while witnessing two penises pop out of the snake showing her presence clearly arouses it.
"Hey snake, I'm here to complete some trial, not to be your stupid mate." Said Dana, holding back her urge to kill the lustful snake.
"What? If you're only here for the trial how about, you make a bet with me? Instead of the usually devouring, I will take you as my mate if you fail the challenge..." Replied the Snake.
Due to her not being sure of the full trial yet, Dana wanted to ensure that she reaped as many awards as possible before completing this trial.
Like last time she ended up having a valuable martial skill, not to mention that she still isn't aware of this snakes combat strength yet. Thus she wants to scope out more on its abilities first hand.
Therefore, Dana said, "Fine, I will agree to your terms."
Letting out an excited hiss, well that is what Dana thinks it is the Snake said, "Good, good. The challenge is to answer this snakes riddle!"
Dana became astonished that this whole inheritance was all about a riddle, hiding the thoughts to exterminate the snake immediately, Dana said, "Sure."
The Snakes eyes had a cunning lustre within the depth of its eyes, but this look quickly changed into one of lewdness as it started at Dana's figure assured that she was its, the Snake said, "Alright this is my riddle, but don't forget if you fail... your mine. I have towns and cities, but there are no houses. I have mountains and hills, but there are no trees or bushes. I have oceans and rivers, but there are no fish. What am I?"
Hearing the Snakes riddle Dana was stumped entirely as her brain started to work in overdrive thinking of the riddle in detail, the Snake seeing Dana's look of confusion hissed saying, "You have ten minutes to find the answer, if not you will become this Snakes mate for eternity."
Instinctively shivering at the thought, Dana put this in the back of her mind as she knew that the snake likely doesn't know she could probably compete with it directly, but as she has an instinctive feeling that there is a lot more to this trial than meets the eye she held herself back.
Thinking of the riddle, she began looking carefully on the details, so it has towns and cities but not houses? Mountains and hills, but not any trees or bushes? Oceans and rivers but not fish?
How could this be possible?
Nine minutes and Dana still couldn't think of the answer, but just as the Snake began grinning lewdly at the thought of ravishing Dana, her response shocked it greatly, "I got it! I got it!"
The Snake suddenly felt worried that Dana discovered its riddle, but it soon removed this thought as none had answered this riddle ever, it said, "Well, what is the answer then?"
"A map, it's a map! I was originally confused but thinking about it closely only a map can be the answer to such a riddle as it is the only way possible to answer it!"
Hearing Dana was actually right, a cold gleam filled it eyes as it said, "Well, your the first person to get this riddle right but shame that this wasn't the true part of the trial... Mother can you let me keep her please? I distracted her to allow the poison to seep within her, why can't I be rewarded just this once?"
Listening to the snake it seems her assumption was right afterall and it was just a distraction to let any other person get weakened by the poisonous gas within the surroundings, as this poison usually would even be able to affect a Core Formation Culivatior without them knowing, nevermind someone with less cultivation like her, so no wonder they believed she would be affected.
Suddenly a snake much larger than the one before her entered, its eye stared at Dana hungrily as if she could sense the powerful energy surging through Dana's veins.
'This one has a very powerful bloodline its strong enough to even make me finally progress and could even allow me to increase my talent.' Thought the mother Snake.
Seeing the true guardian has arrived, there was no need for Dana to keep pretences any longer, it was time for her enjoy some snake for dinner.

Outlook: The Stars (Consciousness Unbound Book 1)
The year is 2152. Rune Yahui is a nineteen-year-old failure, not having gained entrance to college or the military, with no significant prospects in life. Even worse, Rune is the poorest of the poor, hailing from the mega-slums of New Southern Chicago, the lowest pit of America. In a desperate last-ditch attempt to gain a future more lustrous than toiling the rest of his days away in abhorrent conditions in one of the near sweat-shop level factories that dot the megapolis, Rune signs up for the Virtual Citizen program, a program to cull the excessive world population by transferring just their brains into a video game. In a stroke of rare luck, Rune is admitted into the program and happily submits himself to the surgery and digitization process. Unfortunately for him, he wakes up several hundred years later than he expected... or does he? **Author's Note** This isn't a type of story typical to RRL. You may have noticed LitRPG in the tags, but it's a relatively minor element in the story until later. You may also notice Slice of Life is in the tags. This story is going to be slow and there won't be any power tripping until way later if at all. The focus will be on character development. That doesn't mean I won't still have action/excitement, however. I encourage you to give the story a try. Maybe it will be your thing, maybe it won't. Thanks for even taking the time to read this, and if you do give my fiction a try, I hope you enjoy it. If you don't, well, I hope you find something that you do enjoy. Happy reading!
