《Beast Cultivating System》Chapter 41 - Visiting Library

An hour later Dana left Head Elder Yang's room and began heading towards the library.
For the past hour, Head Elder Yang discussed with Dana about the Yearly Sect Gathering, in addition to answering some of her questions about the water attribute which greatly benefited Dana.
She found that according to Head Elder Yang that to get within the Top Hundred of the Yearly Sect Gathering you must have a minimum of Rank 2 Xiantian Cultivation and even then it isn't completely assured as many geniuses cultivation ranks may be deceptive, with them having the battle strength to fight individuals above their cultivation levels.
This would basically mean Dana could theoretically already be ranked within the Top Hundred disciples of the sects within Xinghai Continent, but could Dana's pride as a Frost Wyvern stand for getting in the measly Top Hundred?
Of course not, the moment Dana discovered such a competition, the only thing she had in mind is winning, she knows that Chao Sung is who many predicted would be first, but this only made Dana even more determined to 'beat up' such a guy, in fact, if she could she would probably murder him in front of his master to honour Yueqin Wen to avenge her daughter.
But, as his master is too powerful, then she wouldn't do such a thing unless she had some sort of assurance, thus Dana decided to humiliate Chao Sung as much as possible, before finding a method to escape from the Heavenly Noble Sects clutches.
If she killed him, then they would likely attempt everything in order to end her life no matter the cost in addition to having an excuse in doing so, but if she let him live, then they likely wouldn't dare to do anything in the public, which for Dana will suit her perfectly, as she could easily escape with access to the system, as there is probably some sort of object within it somewhere which could let her disappear without a trace.
Poor Head Elder Yang has no idea for what Dana has intended for the Yearly Sect Gathering, as he believed Dana at best could get within the Top Hundred, but he truly has no idea what mayhem Dana is planning to cause in the competition.

At the moment this no longer matter towards Dana yet though, as she was heading towards the sect library, as the system is not some sort of Wikipedia which can be used to find all sorts of information about the cultivation world unless she purchased it, Dana is rather ignorant on many matters which she believed the library will assist her with.
Similar to when Dana walked towards the lecture, everywhere she moved within the academy seemed to naturally draw attention from the students, as they stopped whatever they were previously doing with gaping mouths upon seeing Dana's appearance.
Not that Dana seemed to notice anything at all, as she calmly walked towards the library maintaining a steady pace.
Finally arriving at the library, Dana saw the head librarian at the entrance soundly sleeping on the chair before his desk, seemingly not even noticing Dana's arrival at all.
Stepping in front of him Dana banged the desk expecting to awaken him, however seeing he didn't even flinch at such a loud noise caused Dana to frown her face irritably.
After a few more minutes of failing to wake up the head librarian, Dana became more and more annoyed, thinking of a way to wake up this damnable head librarian, a sudden idea appeared within her mind upon looking at his chair, a mischevious smirk emerged on Dana's face.
Using a fraction of her power, she put some force into whacking the chair of the head librarian causing him to stumble out of the chair, faceplanting on the ground.
Seeming to do the trick the Head Librarian awoke with a hurried appearance as he stumbled before quickly getting up as if pretending he hasn't been asleep the entire time.
"Young Lady did you need to be so forceful with this old man, I only briefly closed my eyes, all you needed to do was knock the desk slightly!" The Head Librarian shamelessly said.
"Are you crazy old man? I've been banging your desk for two minutes straight and you didn't even move an inch, geeze the Sect Head really needs to replace such a senile old man like you." Dana said.

The 'old man' upon hearing such a thing gave a dumbfounded look, thinking no one had ever dared to address him with such a tone before, this caused his face to stiffen.
Seeing such an appearance Dana continued her mercilessly 'assault' towards the old man, "I knew you had some problems old man, looking at you now its as if your an inch away from death" Said Dana.
Hearing such words from Dana the old mans face grew angered, "Hey Lass, no one from the younger generation has ever talked to me that way before! Tell this old man who is your master to raise such a disciple, I don't believe with your cultivation that you don't have a master within the academy!" The old man said.
Hearing the old man Dana snickered, "Hey Old man are you becoming deranged, you're just some 'Head Librarian' within the sect, how dare you question my master!" Dana replied, obviously bitter at the old man for insulting her master.
The old man fumed in anger at Dana's reply, 'This girl thinks I'm some mere Head Librarian!', but just as he was about to give Dana some of his minds, she already walked off along with the entrance slip required to enter the library.
Seeing Dana leaving without sparing him another glance, called the old man to become speechless, 'What sort of master raised such a girl?' He thought.
After leaving behind the old man, using the entrance slip she entered the library, immediately going through the books she found interesting.
Four hours later, Dana read many books about the Xinghai Continent and cultivation in general.
She discovered many 'special' events within the Xinghai Continent and areas of note similar to the Azure Continent having 'Devils Peak', the Xinghai Continent also has many areas which possess a large habitat of spirit beasts with in addition contains many cultivation resources.
Taking these in notes, Dana discovered a few more rare bloodline beasts within the continent which could prove useful for her later.
Dana found that there was a group of beasts which possess dragon bloodline which her master previously didn't inform her, however as they no were near as threatening as the Lighting Flood Dragon.
They were referred to as 'Blaze Wyrm's', and lived within a volcano which will be within Dana's line of travel before she would enter the secret realm within a few months, with this in note she planned to visit the 'Blaze Wyrm's' before entering the secret realm, although it wouldn't allow Dana to form a 'saint bloodline', having an additional uncommon bloodline will not only increase her affinity with the fire attribute, but make it easier for her to attain the 'Raging Blaze Drake' bloodline in the future.
The assistance of the library also provided her with some benefits on her general cultivation knowledge, with could prove useful to Dana as she lacked this sort of thing.
Picking up a few books on spirit herbs with could be useful towards her, Dana stored them within her storage ring to read later.
Pleased with her gains, Dana was about to leave however a group of young students entered with the strongest cultivations she had seen among the younger generation so far.
Observing these cultivators, they didn't look as if they were here for the library at all, as they shown no interest in the books and seemed to be looking around as if searching for someone.
Dana immediately figured who this 'someone' was as they caught sight of her appearance, in which they looked at other as if reaffirming their decision before slowly approaching her.
Looking at them Dana thought, 'Great, a bunch of young masters...'

She did just enough to keep up with her studies but never found the motivation to apply herself and “reach her potential,” as her instructors often said. It was not that Miguela was uninterested in the arts. Rather, she knew her time at the Academy ultimately did not matter. Whenever Miguela returned home, she would become an Orator, and that would be that. Or so she believed until, one day, an opportunity appeared that would change her life. Miguela was offered the chance to join a research team tasked with a mission of the utmost importance to the future of the Five Kingdoms. She could not turn down the prospect of regaining control of her life and finally finding a purpose for herself. Of course, Miguela might soon discover that offers that appear too good to be true are usually fraught with lies. Welcome to Five Kingdoms of Cordizal! Question: What is the Five Kingdoms of Cordizal? I often get asked this type of question about my stories by friends, bloggers, and potential readers. The Five Kingdoms of Cordizal is a high-fantasy epic universe that is the setting for most of my stories. The foundation of the universe is its multicultural, multiracial setting with several sentient races attempting to carve their legacy and survive. The world is fully fleshed out and vibrant with a rich and mysterious history not based on Tolkien mythology. This brings me to magic. To me, magic is an essential part of the fantasy genre, so, of course, there is magic in the Five Kingdoms universe. However, one critical part of the Five Kingdoms universe is that magic is an abundant commodity that is a part of everyday life and not some plot device used to drive the story. In short, the Five Kingdoms universe is the setting of epic fantasy stories with deep characters and world-building. I try to tell as many different types of stories as possible in the universe, and hopefully, you can find something for you in it.
