《Beast Cultivating System》Chapter 35 - Creating a Stir within the Elemental Sect

Dana planned to not fully unleash the full prowess of the martial skill in what Dana is truly capable of, but that doesn't mean she planned to let the audience off.
Dana wanted to show enough of her comprehension talent, that the capabilities she shows will be superior to most of the individuals here, thus showing that she isn't some pushover which can be openly mocked in being inferior.
As if the talent she shows now is 'inferior', then what does that make them?
However, Dana didn't take into account how truly good her comprehension is, so when she performed her martial skill alongside Prince Cheng and Princess Hui Ying, although it wasn't her full proficiency in the skill, it still exceeded there's.
The audience originally thought Dana was there to be a minor character, to demonstrate the difference between them and 'True Geniuses', this whole thing was a fiasco to practically humiliating Dana in addition to sending a message to them how minor they are compared to the true top characters within the Elemental Sect.
This was why they put all their focus onto Prince Cheng and Princess Hui Ying's martial skill and didn't even spare a glance at Dana, but now seeing Dana's result in comparison, the dominating display they expected wasn't from Prince Cheng and Princess Hui Ying at all!
Instead it was from the person they looked down upon this entire time!
Sure both Prince Cheng and Princess Hui Ying martial skill was remarkable, showing their extraordinary talent in the younger generation, as they comprehended around 45% mastery of the martial skill within six hours, which in comparison to most of them which barely got 7% made them feel the vast gap between them.
But, this wasn't the amazing thing, as they were completely outshined by the 'minor character' next to them which managed to get an astonishing 55% mastery of the skill, a difference in 10% may not seem to be large, but what is truly incredible is the further mastery of a martial skill you have, the harder it is to increase even further.
In fact, this wasn't truly Dana's fault, as a result of her powerful soul with soul cultivation, her already monstrous talent in comprehension was boosted even further.
Why is soul cultivation important?
As you need a good comprehension to cultivate your soul it is exceedingly difficult to progress in, there are many benefits soul cultivation brings towards an individual but an additional benefit is that as it increases, your overall comprehension, thus making Dana have an absurd talent in this area.
In fact, Dana had already achieved 100% mastery of the martial skill, which if known would cause the audience to die from shock.
Why did Dana make such an error?
As she had no one to compare to with her talent, she previously thought lowering it that much will make it much inferior to what Prince Cheng and Princess Hui Ying demonstration to the audience, but she truly underestimated herself, making this the result of the previously planned one-sided competition!

This slaps the fact of not only the Elemental Sect elders but even the Ironclaw Empire who was expecting a domineering display!
The result?
Not only did this not happen but the two new geniuses they expected to carry the Ironclaw Empire into a generation of propsperity, were completely overshadowed by Dana making their scheme in building a famous reputation for Prince Cheng and Princess Hui Ying was ruined!
Instead, they would be seen as nothing but a joke, as Dana an individual with no background at all triumphed over the two most promising geniuses of the Ironclaw Family in the last thousand years!
Thus, 10% is the difference between heaven and earth, showing a complete landslide victory in terms of comprehension.
Seeing the audience reactions, the once haughty faces of Prince Cheng and Princess Hui Ying became confused, aren't they suppose to be complimenting their talent?
Why do they look so stunned, and are looking within that trashes direction?
Looking at the trash, they saw nothing special or spectacular about that person, at the start as soon as they glimpsed at that person they instantly didn't put the masked individual within their eyes at all and ignored him.
So upon seeing such a reaction from the audience, they assumed it must be because that individual's talent is so bad, it even dumbfounded the audience?
Both of them wouldn't even come up with the prospect of Dana surpassing their result
Snickering at such result Princess Hui Ying couldn't help but comment, "What is this trashes comprehension so awful he didn't even manage to comprehend the martial skill at all?"
This drew laughter from Prince Cheng, yet the audience still remained silent instead throwing mocking glances at Princess Hui Ying.
Prince Cheng knowing something was wrong, attempted to warn Princess Hui Ying but he was too late before she can continue her rant.
"So has this trash broke records of the number one trash in the Xinghai Continent?" Continued Princess Hui Ying, as she was extremely annoyed that this individual has stolen her limelight for being trash, she threw away her 'Kind' act.
As she was about to join the Elemental Sect she didn't care about maintaining her image anymore, as seeing the geniuses in the sect which were much more talented than her, broadened her horizons.
Why would she care what these minor characters think?
They are nothing to true power, as long as I can rope in one of the geniuses with my beauty I will live alongside a dominant Emperor who will one day rule this continent!
With these thoughts, why would she care about insulting some minor character?
Before she can continue even further to 'dig herself in a hole', one of her escorts a middle-aged man at the Xiantian realm stopped her from disgracing herself even further.
"Princess that's enough." He told her urgently.
"Are you defending that trash? So what if I insult him, isn't it just trash what is there to worry about?" Princess Hui Ying snidely replied, but upon looking further towards the audience instead of the ridiculing looks directed at the 'trash', she instead found these looks were directed towards her.

Why are they looking at her like this?
Aren't they suppose to be laughing at the trash?
As these thoughts emerged within her mind, she realised something was wrong.
"Uncle, what's wrong?" Princess Hui Ying quietly spoke.
"He beat you in the comprehension test, Princess you lost..." He said.
As his voice resounded in Princess Hui Ying's mind.
She kept thinking impossibly!
Her eyes glared at the 'trash' with malicious intent!
How dare you embarrass me, I'm supposed to the number one talent!
"Uncle I want that trash dead!" Princess Hui Ying screamed, already her true character revealed for all to witness.
As Princess Hui Ying had already decided to drop pretences on her character, as she believed that none of these individuals present will matter again in her life, as she will be one of the top characters of the Elemental Sect, so how could they let these people spread bad rumours about her?
And even if they did, would anyone believe them?
Therefore, the Princess wanted to get rid of this individual before they were even allowed to join the Elemental Sect, where they could potentially be protected by a master, as its within her Kingdom all the elders here are on good terms with her Ironclaw Empire apart from that woman, but why would she interfere with such a matter?
So, Princess Hui Ying thought it was a simple matter to remove that individual.
The Princess was always an envious person and within the Kingdom, she removed many rivals towards her either in beauty or in some cases talent.
This is why it wasn't too surprising seeing such a reaction from her to the figures which know her.
The crowd though?
They were deeply appalled, that the Princess was actually such a malovent person!
Seeing such a reaction, the middle-aged man felt slightly bitter but didn't put a retaliation against her order.
Just when he was about to order the elders to capture that individual for the Princess, a powerful fluctuation emerged, and an old figure came into the area, a powerful aura surrounding him.
It was Elder Wi which was chasing Dana before!
Seeing the old man Dana felt like her luck was truly appalling if this situation wasn't bad enough, she already has another big problem on her hands?
That vicious Princess already wanted her head for surpassing her within the comprehension test and then it was completely her fault in making herself look like such a fool!
Dana felt it was ridiculous that such a problem could emerge from such a slight slip up from her part...
Elder Wi was looking at Dana with a savage look like he wanted to eat her alive.
'Why is he looking at me like I killed his parents? What the hell did I do to him?' Dana thought.
"I want that masked individual in the name of the 'Sword Paragon Sect', we have the suspicion that he stole something from us" Elder Wi voice reverberated within the room, making the audience realise that this individual must have stolen something big from Beast Sect if they were that angered by it!
They then looked at the 'individual' with a hostile glance, thinking 'what a shameless individual to steal from the sect you were in!'
As the Sword Paragon Sect had a good reputation they didn't doubt Elder Wi at all, not to mention Dana was already valued as an enemy Princess Hui Ying, making none dare to even support her!
Seeing an opportunity to get rid of Dana, the middle-aged man already was going to kill her for the whims of the Princess but seeing such an occurrence he decided just to give that masked figure to Elder Wi, as they would get benefits for a guy which they wanted to kill anyway, so for him it was a great deal!
"Sure, this evil individual must have stolen something serious to resort to having such a powerful elder such as yourself to come after her" The middle-aged man smiled.
He wasn't affected in getting rid of Dana, as comprehension talent didn't play too big of a factor if your cultivation talent isn't good!
If Dana had good results in the previous test, he and the other elders would have been told but clearly, she hasn't, which means she has poor talent in that area!
So, of course, he would give her up to Elder Wi or please the Princess, as he believes that Dana is just an average talent...
Elder Wi smiled and spoke, "The Sword Paragon Sect will repay the Elemental Sect favourably for allowing us to take this shameless person!"
Seeing their friendly conversation with them deciding her fate without her opinion within the matter at all angered Dana immensely.
"So you already decided I'm guilty without any evidence at all? So this is what two 'Righteous' sects represent and are actually this shameless." Dana's cold voice resounded.
The entire spectators look at Dana with astonished looks, 'With these two powerful elders, you dared say such a thing' they thought.
Elder Wi and the middle-aged man looked at Dana with a strange gleam within their eyes, obviously, they didn't expect her to actually talk up against them and even insulted each of their sects!
They gave looks of heavy killing intent towards Dana, even using their aura with each of their respective cultivations at Xiantian Rank 9 to pressure Dana!
But to their shock she didn't even flinch under their a pressure, a cold smile emerged on her face.
'So what if I ended up dying here?'
'My pride as a Frost Wyvern will never be trampled on!'
Dana thought as she prepared to not let them take her without them suffering the consequences tenfold!

A Fool fooling around in another world
Do you think that a story, where the MC isn't dense as lead, would be fun? Do you think that a story, where flags are intentionally set, would be interesting? Do you think that a story, where the MC isn't a wimp, would be a nice change for once? ...No? Oh... that's not the answer I expected.

The Choice is Not Yours
Author's Note: (As of November 20, 2021) I rewrote all the chapters perhaps more than a year ago, but haven't announced that I did so. Because that kind of announcement would include something along the lines of, "I'm working on the story so expect new chapters!" But the truth is, I lack motivation to do anything. And I would hate myself if I broke a promise. I'm extremely sorry if you have been patiently waiting for uploads. These days, I've been studying, not well, but studying somewhat. I will definitely bring more to show, with regular uploads. If not this story then there's another story I've been writing that's really exciting to me. It's not exactly similar to this story since it has a male lead and he is a baneful asshole with even less morals. I hope you'll like it when it comes to existence. And I'll leave my announcement off with the aforementioned promise. Meet Amber, a tomboyish, unstable, and cheeky lass who likes to keep to herself. According to her, she'll live the rest of her life on auto-pilot mode, awhile holding onto the few things that make her remotely happy. However, she forgot that people never really leave you alone, be it humans or even the Gods. And exactly that happens, ending her monotonous life on such the Gods' whim. But at what cost to her? Will she be able to hold onto the things she holds dear? Or will she fail miserably and lose herself in the process? That's what the Gods want to know. Disclaimer: I do not own the cover photo.Warning: If you are easily triggered, I am not writing this novel for you.
