《Beast Cultivating System》Chapter 32 - Elemental Sect Recruitment - 'Talent Test'

Dana soon arrived at the location of the Recruitment for the Elemental Sect, it was held within an influential City within the Xinghai Continent.
Although in the Xinghai Continent, the Sects possessed the largest influence, as in addition to having a powerful force the many disciples reside in the sect alongside the older generation such as the Elders, former cultivators which previously attended the sects tens of years ago will come to the aid of their sect if needed.
With this continuing for hundreds of years, it is no wonder the Sects foundation are so firm within the Xinghai Continent, that they are much stronger in comparison to the Empires.
However, that doesn't make the Empires pushovers, as each of them would be many times stronger than the Azure Empire, even if all Four of the Great Empires combined at the Peak of their Power they would still be crushed easily.
This City was one of the subjects of Ironclaw Empire, an Empire famed for wars and containing a beast bloodline.
For humans owning a beast, the bloodline is very rare, as you would have to transfuse it from a dying beast, depending on the transfusion method alongside the purity of the bloodline of the beast, will decide how strong the bloodline will be.
Obviously, it will never be as strong as within the beast which was previously killed, however, the ancestor of the Ironclaw Empire was very fortunate and managed to gain a high purity bloodline of the rare bloodline beast 'Iron Bull'.
Although the 'Iron Bull' was one of the weakest among Rare bloodline beasts, after all, it still contained a 'Rare' bloodline which would always be many times superior to an uncommon one, this would normally be impossible for the Ironclaw Empire ancestor being able to gain a complete fusion of its bloodline, but the 'Iron bull' passed its bloodline willingly making the Ancestor receive the complete bloodline of the Iron Bull!

This was because before it's death, the Ironclaw Empire upon seeing it severely injured didn't kill it, but pitied it trying to nurse it back to health.
Its injuries were too severe and died, knowing it would pass away it didn't want to waste its bloodline so passed it on to the Ironclaw Empire making him inherit a very high purity rare bloodline!
Even though currently that bloodline has become incredibly diluted over the years, it is still enough for the Ironclaw Empire to reign supreme, with each member of the Royal Family being known for having absurd natural body strength and defence.
Additionally, they have an amazing affinity with Earth and Metal Qi making them ideal candidates for the Elemental Sect, thus over the years the Elemental Sect and Ironclaw Empire shared a good relationship, with many talents from the Ironclaw Empire Royal Family joining the sect.
As Dana entered the city and soon found the recruitment gathering, checking in with a young disciple of the Elemental Sect, she signed up entering the 'Talent Test' which will determine her role within the sect.
Upon entering the City, Dana used her cloak to hide her appearance, alongside a simple metal mask she bought in a store, as she didn't want to cause unnecessary trouble towards her at the moment, with the threat of provoking unknown dangers everywhere.
Hastily, Dana made her way to the 'Talent Test', in which she saw many individuals like her having their talent tested to determine what role they will play in the sect.
Depending on how good your aptitude is will decide how many resources you will be provided within the sect besides your access to the various martial skills and availability of teaching from the Elders.
Talent factors everything within this sect thus made Dana believe she should show herself having above average talent, but not too much so she doesn't attract attention.

Realising that many were giving her weird looks, she realized why, as many cultivators would like to show off their appearance nowadays so they'd be recognised and gain a 'reputation' for their deeds.
This is why it puzzled many why someone would want to hide themselves unless they had poor talent and was embarrassed to show their faces if they failed.
Judging this was the reason, many ignored Dana concluding she was a minor character.
Seeing this response Dana sneered, 'It's not like I want your attention anyway, people like this which just fawn who has good talent are not people I will allow to get close to me' Dana thought.
A few minutes later clamouring began emerging from the crowd of cultivators.
Seeing the crowd get excited, Dana wondered what they are so thrilled about, this was soon answered when the crowd made way for a group of young cultivators, a Handsome man and Beautiful women, both possessing outstanding cultivation for their ages.
"That is Prince Cheng and Princess Hui Ying, they are the top geniuses of the Ironclaw Empire young generation!" A young male cultivator resounded with a delighted expression.
"Wow, Princess Hui Ying sure is the most beautiful women present! Her being the top beauty of the Ironclaw Empire is true!" Another young man said.
Whilst the males were fawning over the Princess, for the females, it was a replication for Prince Cheng with them all happily chattering how 'Handsome' and 'Noble' the Prince was.
Seeing such enthusiasm shown for two individuals which have nothing to do them made Dana shocked, 'It seems strong cultivators are like celebrities from my past life' thought Dana looking at the many 'fans' of both the Prince and Princess.
Inspecting their cultivations it seems both of them are Houtian Ranked Nine Cultivators, at around twenty years of age, which is simply unheard of within the Azure Empire.
'They would be considered the top geniuses of the younger generation in the Xinghai Continent, and in comparison to them if I show my full talent it will seem I have more potential than both' thought Dana thinking in her human form she looks around eighteen years of age, in contrast to them as she is a few years younger it will portray her as the superior one.
'I will make myself look like having above average talent' thought Dana lowering her cultivation to the Ninth Rank of Qi Circulation.
The atmosphere eventually settles down after ten minutes, but still, the cultivators would glimpse at both the two 'most talented' individuals present.
Suddenly, the area becomes dead quiet when an old man walks to the stage, from his aura it seems he shared similar cultivation to Elder Wi, Xiantian Rank 9.
"Alright everyone, the Talent Test to get into the Elemental Sect will be split into three stages, firstly we will test the speed in which you gather Qi, secondly you will demonstrate your comprehension ability by seeing how much of a basic martial art you can master within the allocated time and finally you will be tested upon your attribute talent upon either of the four elemental attributes," Spoke the old man.
Upon hearing his voice, many cultivators become serious knowing this was their opportunity in being able to ascend within this world!
If they have a suitable talent, their status will ascend immensely becoming highly valued disciples of the Elemental Sect!
If they fail, they will become trash and will be scorned at by everyone.
Anxious looks appeared on many, but under Dana's mask, she was completely unfazed if I show suitable talent I will get what I need out of this sect...
